Total 101

I'm assuming a short course at Matterhorn and removing the older version of Circuit de la Sarthe.

If it returns I expect it not to be used for any races at all!

My list runs to 38 locations with 101 tracks, the official website lists 37 locations and 100 tracks.

I thought that we don't have confirmation on more variations of Ascari and Matternhorn. Did I miss something?

We don't have confirmation. I added what I think it means, which is that since we get the full track at Ascari then the three short courses should be a given. (PD being PD that might not be the case!.)

As for Matterhorn. Again, I'm assuming there is a short course variant.

I hope to see the return of Citta di Aria. Loved racing on those narrow streets.
PD already posted the full track list and therefore it's not going to be included, at least at launch.
If there are surprises, they will appear as variations of existing tracks.

I'm speculating there will be something for:
- SSR5 (in GT5 there are hints that some of the roads there might lead to SSR7) or SSR7 (which looks incomplete, hastily done in GT5).
- SSRX (the mysterious incomplete infield course that could be seen from the main 30 Km oval track?).
- Rome Circuit, which is now called Circuito di Roma (hinting at some changes? Maybe the old versions from GT2 will be added?).
- Matterhorn variations? It does look like it will be an El Capitan or Eiger lookalike, with one main track and different variations. Hopefully this time not only dirt/snow ones.

- Rome Circuit, which is now called Circuito di Roma (hinting at some changes? Maybe the old versions from GT2 will be added?).
I think they have only opted for the language of the country of the track.

"Circuito di Roma" is the Italian translation of "Rome Circuit"

I have to say that I'm really happy with tracklist. Not only because of Brands Hatch and Bathurst and all time and weather variations, but mostly because maybe finally GT stopped missing opportunities. We have Big Willow and Streets of Willow, many Silverstone variants including Stowe. I really don't get why we don't have more variants of tracks from GT5 like Monza Junior, or even Tsukuba Short. Yeah, I know these variations are nothing special, but adding them would be very easy. Almost no additional modeling involved.
