Will there be a McLaren P1 in GT6?

I fell in love with The Mclaren P1 Hypercar and I want to ask that should GT6 have The McLaren P1?

McLaren is partners with Turn 10 in their next game with the P1 being the "hero car", so i highly doubt that. Besides, they're not anal as EA when it comes to licensing.

I suppose you're right as it was only a proposed theory of mine. I still think it's highly unlikely we'll see the P1 (or the LaFerrari) in GT6.

Well, they already included the MP4-12C, so having the P1 in the game is a definite possibility. And seeing as Ferrari is pretty well represented in the game (well, compared to most European manufacturers), so is the LaFerrari. But like everyone else here have said, we just don't know, and we will never know until there is an announcement or after the game's release.

I really do not care one way or the other. I like cars, lots of cars but I would really rather see more cool older cars rather than the latest super/hyper cars though a few new ones would be nice.

I don't think RUF has tinkered with the 918 yet. I don't see why we can't get the other two hypercars you mentioned.

while they are at it they should put in all variations of the F1 (LM, GT, longtail, ect) all variations of the MP4-12C (GT3, spyder, ect) and the P1.

It's going to be pretty damn lame if only Forza 5 has the Mclaren P1.

I'm not going to say it's a deal breaker for me but man... 90% of my playtime in GT5 is driving the F1.

I personally think there is a good chance that it will be in. Maybe not on release, but at some point. The car is still very "young." As for the statement of Gran Turismo not including many hyper/super cars, that's just inaccurate. In GT5 they really made leaps and bounds in that department, we have both the F1 and MP4-12C from release. Let alone all the other supercars in the game, F430, Enzo, 599, Gallardo, Mucielago, Aventador, LF-A, Zonda R, etc etc.

I think Polyphony is aware that super cars sell.

Lol I know I just want the 918 badged as a RUF just so we can still have it lol.

The McLaren P1 (projected fastest track production car at Nurb) and LaFerrari halo car must be there. We need others like Konigsegg, Pagani (in premium form), Gumpert, etc. as well. Playing catch up having some of these cars isn't cool while other games have had some of the mentioned for a while. Just my opinion.

To each their own I suppose but I'm more excited about driving a nimble LP400 Countach (before it got wider, uglier and received fatter tyres) in cockpit view than the new P1.

Not to get off topic but while we have a countach, where is the Lambo Diablo street car!!?

But the P1 is a must. Its the pinnacle of the modern hypercar. Engineering genius.

To be honest I don't care if we don't get the P1, and don't care if other racing games gets it first. I just want any car so I can test them with GT6's new physics (which is important to me in any racing game).

If we do get the P1 later on, I'm cool with that. 👍 The cars in GT6 already caught my interest anyway, especially that Audi S1 Rally car.

If there is a P1 in GT6, i wonder how they're going to model the electronic wing. If they decide to keep the PP system, it would probably be well over 640PP.

Kind of also makes me want LaFerrari as well.
