This site has in a way ruined the mystery of the game.. but brought a community of fans along with it so its a fair trade of in my book..

There's a whole forum out there, below "Gran Turismo Series" on the main forum page. Other games to play, other things to talk about.

@PepeMickey isn't going to run out and buy it just because of the name on the box, get over it.

And yet we're commenting in the Gran Turismo 6 section?

Anyway, each to their own. I'll admit I was a little sceptical about the announcement of GT6 so soon after GT5 (and in light of the somewhat disappointment that was GT5) but I still can't wait to get my hands on it, particularly since Bathurst has been announced.

Here's to hoping he has good reason for buying it after a few weeks!

Absolutely! December is going to be an awesome month for being on GT Planet!

Also I had a bit of a chuckle at the people who are leaving GT Planet so the game doesn't get spoiled. I'm thinking to myself, "What is there to spoil"? Unless PD have added in a story mode full of twists and turns that I'm not aware of....

I didn't like GT4 or GT5, but that doesn't mean PD will never produce a game to my satisfaction ever again. I'm still cautiously optimistic, seeing as there are a lot of cars and tracks and nifty features to enjoy if they can just sort out the driving physics!

Indeed. 👍

Have u played GT6 academy? The physics are better than they've ever been!

As I said earlier, for some of us, the fun is experiencing new content and features in the game first-hand without already knowing ahead of time what they're like. Spoilers aren't exclusive to story.

More than likely I'll be staying here.

Honestly this site is the only one I still truly enjoy being a part of; my other two main forums have gone down the toilet and so I go here. Plus I have to finish the fanfic at some point...

Might not be on GTPlanet until the Day One patch is done downloading... I suppose you get what you pay for when it comes to internet. Honestly not interested in finding out what prize cars there are, I'm trying to do it myself for once. Might use the other features as well, instead of ignoring them.

I will most certainly still be on GTPlanet. How else will I keep up on the continuous stream of DLC Polyphony is promising us? This is also where I can get the best screenshots for my backround. This is going to be a big Chrismas as I'll finally be getting a steering wheel & pedal setup for my PS3. I just need to find the best one for me. If anyone can help with that on here, It would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking at the Logitech G27 mainly because it has a clutch setup. Is there any others with a clutch setup that might be better?

Uhhhhh, yep.
It was the GT Series of games which brought me / others here in the 1st place. GT6 will just add more stuff to this forum to keep us and a multitude of new members entertained for some time to come.

I'll be coming back. Got to have something to help me thru the working day. Plus I can sit and drool at some of the photos that people on here create from GT. They're incredible.

Although the number of threads and posts will be really overwhelming.

I haven't been banned in the last (almost) 3 years, so why would I be banned on the 6th December? Maybe Gran Turismo 6 is going to be so great that it starts a massive uprising of violence in my posts that results in a ban? Not likely, so chances are I will be here after the 6th of December.

Of course I'll come back! It probably won't be for a long time, but I'll definitely come back!

December 21, 2013, will be the end of Gran Turismo as we know it. According to the prophecy, a patch is supposed to hit Gran Turismo 6 and bring a virtual apocalypse of a degree that will eradicate everything related to the franchise.

It was nice knowing y'all.

All cars made premium confirmed. Epic sounds confirmed. Porsches confirmed. GTPlanet meltdown, confirmed.

The Mayans, they really know stuff.

Just kidding, sorry for the bad joke. :P

LMAO!

And yes, I'm here for some years already and hope to be for the next decades. One of the first sites I check as soon as I wake up, put my glasses on and pick the phone and launch the browser. :)

Been hanging around since GT5 got the official release date and decided after almost 3 years to join the GTP club. :gtpflag: I'll definitely be back here after a few days of soaking up GT6. ;)

Of course I will still be here, far and away the most info & discussions about the series around. I may not be around quite as much for the initial period of GT6's release as most free time will be tied up in the getting to know you phase of our relationship. I will be keen to hear what other GTP'ers impressions are neg or pos.
