Wipers should be manual. It'd feel so real to have to react to the rain or snow and press a button.

And yes, the up and down on the d-pad could work well.

Very hard to say. If we run out of buttons maybe we can just press the 'Start' button on our controllers and from there we can do stuff like vipers,headlights and convertables etc.

Possibly and that would be a good work around, aswell (not instead) as being about to control these functions with real time adjustments.

This can be done with a wheel(or at least the dfgt). I can see myself using the red nob for stuff like opening windows, or adjusting the speed of the wipers.

You can configure it for any controller, I use a G25 but have the sixaxis/DS3 by my side for real time adjustments (very rarely used in GT5P).

It would be harder if the controls used combinations anyway. Just imagine a full, 16 car, grid coming into the end of the Fuji Raceway straight as it starts to rain. L1+up twice and brake and turn in and ARRRRGGGHHH!!

It's not like you'd do it mid-corner in a real car anyway. You'd wait 3 seconds and do it on the straight, or do it before you started braking.

What about a defroster? That is much more important, with the inclusion of snow, than frickin wipers. The sound of the fan blowing hot air would be soooo epic!

First of all wipers arent the most important thing in PD's to-do list nor in a mainstream simulator like GT, second of all I dont think that this is the time to say this or that should be in game. GT5 is most likely finished by now, and they shouldn't botter with such petty details.

Why do people insist in asking every tiny-little worthless detail about GT5? "Can we change the colour of our wheelcaps?" "Custom gear shift knobs, should PD include them?" "Can we select the brand of our headlamp and tail-lamp bulbs?" .

How were you expected to do endurance races without the need to refuel? How where you expected to drive not being in the cockpit of a car? Those were things that although were ideal, realistic, and would've been great weren't there until GT4 and GT5P respectively. Rain without wipers would be implemented in a very subtle way by PD like, your windshield doesnt get affected (in the same way your car didn't get affected by not having fuel in pre-GT4 endurances). However, you're getting me wrong 👍, I didn't meant I disliked the idea of ultimately getting wipers, if they're in I wont cheer (Which doesn't mean I didn't liked the touch ), if they aren't I wont cry. My point was that people just get the most tiny, tiny, tiny pieces of suposition and think that PD are still thinking in including content.
