Indeed, fun times last night - I didn't see Spyhunter jumpin around last night - all I saw was smooth acceleration as you pulled away and disappeared. :)

Saw TheMoose and gitSehT also - need to get you guys in the online chat too - nothing like 3 minutes of talkin' smack between each race.

Was it me? GTP_Spyhunter? I have been told by one person that I can get that way. Its weird, though, as I have been host before as well..

No, it wasn't you. I edited the original post to include that info and correct a typo (note to self, double-check posts made when tired...)

Good races last night guys, Sorry for any mayham I might have caused trying to tune the Mine's. CWR what happened to you, a couple times you stop in some really odd places. One in particular was right at the end of the braking point for turn 6. you were there for 2 laps on the 2nd lap I was chasing down another GTPer in a GT LM (same car you were driving/parking). I was right on his tail when he went through you as he hit his brakes. To me it looked like he stopped dead, so I did my best not hit him/you and went into the barrier. Weird stuff.

Sorry my friend. I stopped off the track, but I was in the XMB writting messages. You know how the car rolls around if you don;t keep the brakes on it. Thats what I happen, I apolize if I affected your consentration and effected your race.

I ran from 6pm to 7pm tonight, and it was punter central (and mostly PAL drivers! I'm still surprised to find as many punters there as we have here). Three times the host bailed, and in every race I was punted hard enough to be in the grass and/or against a barrier. Bummer.

It got much better later at night - we were missing some regulars like CWR, L_Hamilton, and slicecom on the track and I think that's what kept it from being even better - the more GTP guys in each race the better the outcome seems to be for everyone from a pure driving perspective. There must have been quite a few racers out late last night because even running on the 10's didn't guarantee getting a race together with everyone. Can't wait for thos private rooms!

RudiRaser-GTPR? think that was your psn... Seen you on here a couple of times anyway..

Sorry for the last lap. I got pretty untidy and nearly took us both out

I am bloody useless at the moment, its going to take a bit of practice. What times to I need to be competative?

I think the GT LM can run 1'43.XXX So, in a race if you can run around 1'44-1'47 You will be safe. Obviously the RBE will effect a lot of what you can do in a race, but in free run if you can get close to 1'44-'145 range you will be competive.

ah cool because I started at 1:48's but now I have got it down to low 1:44's still more time to knock off though. Thats in free run of course, I havent tried a race yet.

1'44'xxx is fast enough to win with

Between 1:44 - 1:48's you will be fine.
I think personal best for overall race time was a 5:20:720 yesterday!

Ran with a bunch of GTPers last night--some great battles and a couple podium sweeps for us. :)

I also came across one madskilz187 at London with the F2007 and had five or six incredible races in a row with him. I lost all but one of them, but we were running almost identical lap times the whole time and every race came down to the last lap. Great stuff!

are you happy with the pal GTP turnout, we may not be good enough to challenge but lack of practice doesnt help, still prefer 600

Every time I see 5:20:xxx it just makes me realize that there are 2 types of racers: those who know exactly what they are doing and those who wish they could drive like that. :)

Great job Jack!

I was useless then but I got used to the car at the end of the race, expect better from me next time.

You guys are fast enough to challenge and its a lot more fun seeing PAL GTP tags on the track.

I just hope we get a 600pp world event with this update.

I hope so too. Also theres plenty more races to come from me tonight.

I started of good, I had a win in the Blitz, and a 2nd place, now I have switched to the GTLM, :nervous: and been crap ever since. :) 👍

I just came third from last place on the grid so I suppose things are starting to look up for me.

I think this time round the standard of driving has increased on W.E. and mostly has been better than 600PP PAL. Alot more cleaner races i have had on W.E.

Just hope on these next set of updates they pick another good track for W.E. to go on, but i think it will go Fuji as it been everywhere else..

Happy with that last race. :)

Edit

Ok I have had some fun @ Daytona, now back in my F430 and off to Suzy 600.

Nice to race with you again drama-kyd. 👍
