Hi, guys
Here is video of my best free run, I know this is slow for some of you guys here.
It would be nice if you could help me out to shave off 0.5 sec.
Please point out my mistakes.
Thanks in advance

Great lap J.

  • I think your RPM are too low in the esses- you need to be wringing its neck through there (helps it rotate better and you get a little extra power). If I were you I would re-do the gearbox- you may just need to make your final drive a little higher.
  • Try turning in a touch later for Degner 1 and gassing it sooner.
  • Use more of the outside of the track at the middle of Spoon.
  • Get a little smoother through 130r and try mastering it to the point where you are hard on the gas and floating all the way out to the rumble (it's a little scary :dopey:).
  • Get a little better line and rythym through the chicane- it looks like you exit the first part too wide and it messes up your drive out of the second part. Try keeping the first part tight so you can drive harder out of the second part.
  • Best advice- upload your lap to GTDB.net and then you can download others and study :)

I have a 1.59.4 on GTDB, with a couple of mistakes (bad T1, slow by about 2 tenths)- you can try mine or some others to pick up some ideas. I can't recall if mine is PAL or NTSC though :embarrassed:

omg i hate the first corner with full grid, and all the fu*** rammers also *grml*

I usually get lucky. See, I only have 695pp maxed out and always start up front. However, I don't have enough power so everyone has passed me by the time turn 1 comes up anyways. So I just have to pick my way through the mess. Unfortunately that also means the leader usually takes off and I'm left trying to catch up.

Yes that race at xx00 was a joke in first corner! Was punted off 3 times in that race. Must apologise to the guy in cali (offline) i tried an audacious move in last chicane which ended in tears. At xx30 failed connection :grumpy:

Thanks EL_Z
My new time 2'00.541 (higher final)

Uhmz, getting closer to 59.X just need 0.3sec faster with the Clio. But that is about the max I can get out of it. I am pretty happy with the tune maybe I will change it up a little bit.

I finally tried the F 430 and enjoyed the run. I will check out the tunes and try again this evening.

Yes, that first corner is interesting with a good sized grid:dopey:

I tend to wait for the inevitable rammers and then see if the leader made it!

Occasionally there are some good sporty battles.

People got to give eachother abit more room en go in abit slower. You can't win the race in the first corner. People got to remember that.

I tried the Art Morrison Corvette, what a hoot, and great thundering sound. Not really competitive speed wise, but's a laugh :)

Had to use R3 all round.

good races again today...

on the last race just made my best lap again with 1'59.101 on the 10th lap in the race that i made also 20'00.141.. barely touching the 19 due a poor 1st lap :ouch:

Thanks to MAY, Twisty, Alexi, Lacko, Don540i, i-plume, Horde and everyone else for some nice races tonight 👍

If only I could keep the cali on track for a full race, sorry to anyone who I got in their way on one of my many track rejoins :dunce:

Managed a 2.00.5xx in clear air but I was racing pretty crap tonight so hopefully can improve it, could probably do with a better tune aswell as my tuning skills are useless :dopey:

*Enigma waits patiently for some kind soul to send him a killer tune :sly:*

Sorry TwistyBits for slowing you down...whas a lot of fun though seeing you disappear in the mirror when on the throttle, and than seeing you rocketing towards me on the breaks and 130r......lol.

No need to apologize. We just had cars with very different capabilities. I was having a great time as well, trying to find an opening I could exploit, but you're too good, even with a slippery car. I could get my nose in every once in a while, but not enough to push the issue. Fun racing, thanks! 👍

And, thanks to everyone else, even those I only knew were in the races, somewhere up front... like Enigma, Alexi, Don540i, i-plume, Horde, num11714, and more.

I had a nice finish tonight with an Aussie. He was driving a tuned Elise. Not very fast on the straights but quick in the corners. He got me by .004 of a second. Good race there. :)

God I love this Amuse 350Z. Complete monster in the corners but it just has no get up and go. Need more powaaaaaa.

I'm pretty new, but have been getting into this event over the last few days.

I am running 2:02's at best in the LDP Tuned lancer.

Is this a good time for a beginner with a controller?

jpro01, oct262, that was a whole lot of fun, hanging back in your draft and watching the two of you go at it. 👍 It was the best spectator's seat at the track. Better than All Access. Just wish I'd been videoing. Great racing. 👍
