World Lupo Cup Challenge

I can't get into room 1 , its probably better for me to move over to room 2 for the rest of the series because I live in the uk so connection might be better overall.

Just letting you guys who are running the cup aware of this
 
Ok so it turns out that Im ignorant and didnt take daylight savings time into account. I missed the race and am very embarissed.
 
Hi Guys,

Thanks for yet another night of good racing. The start was a bit delayed in room 1 with guys not been allowed to join Homes' room. We ended up having the race in mine, please if any of you would like to send a FR to me just in case we do this again, go for it and I will add you.

Room 2 was very smooth connection wise .

We had a few issue with the rules , race 1 had aids allowed and no tire wear . I wondered how the qualy time was half a second faster than me . I can thank skid force recovery for that .

Race 2 was run with the proper rules and I had a great close race with Scales , we were passing each other every lap and it was very fun . I then threw away my race going into the pits too fast and hitting the pillar , just my luck .

My only request for next week is that people make sure they pit at the correct lap (pit window) , with Scales and Carbon pitting on Lap 20 it really screwed my race up , I'm sure if 3 of us pitted at lap 22 I wouldn't of made that pit entry crash .

Well that's my excuse anyway , lol.

Look forward to a champions league with the top guys from each room after we finish our individual championships , should be good .
 
Morning all...... jeez what a tough race last night, working thru the field from last was not easy, actually it was the toughest race I've had in a very long time. Well done to everyone for a good race. There were a few heavy incidents but I'm sure we will all learn a little more patience as the series progresses. It's a long race and there is no need to try overtake in every corner. Myself included;) Just gotta give thumbs up to Byo, I think he won the overall with 2 second place finishes, great driving!! Impressed!!! And well done Driver for the main event win, to easy for you;)
 
I really suggest strongly that the guys in room 2 follow the correct rules for the racing.

Bouncing from one thing to another with create confusion and may influence results.

I thought it was pit window when Scale went in, and my car started understeering so I found it wise to pit. Sorry...
 
Last night was fun, think I got very lucky especially in the sprint race because I squeezed through at some point when guys were fighting for 1st.

I think the strategy with pitting can definitely make things interesting but the pit windows must make it "equal", for example, the latest that someone can pit in the first window must leave them with the number of laps(eg.11-30=20) equal to the number of laps before the beginning of the 2nd pit window(eg.1-20=20), therefore being able to do the same number of laps on the long stint.
 
I stopped on lap 12 last night, so I ended up doing 25laps to the checked flag. My tires were shot!!! But still, running in clean air I went from last and almost made it to 3rd. Until Homes and Silver foiled my plans. Thanks teammate. Lol
 
Yeah - I noticed the two stints available were different lengths, but it just adds to how you react and plan your race.....I think its brilliant.

WTF - On the first page of this thread, all the info is there, the rules are set. If you pit on the wrong laps your should be DQ'ed. Its against the rules. If this is not clear then all will just do as they please.
 
Rules are rules boys! I agree with Driver, what's the point of having them if everyone can just do what they want and then just say sorry. Sorry;) I also agree with Byo, the first pit window should be moved to lap 15-17 to make it even and to encourage guys to use it. I was just desperate to get away from all the bumping and bashing so I used it, but will never do it again cause you're just way to slow at the end with no tires. Please take a look at it Homes. Thanks:)

Well done to Scale in Series 2 too.

I will sort out the team/series swapping and the points a bit later.

If they got dq'd then I would be the winner .

Personally , I think since it was room 2's first race we can ease them up.

Let's jus run the races correct from now on please.

I think I would have won both races if we ran them correctly but such is life.

Ill get em back next race .
 
Hi guys. The sprint race was very cool for me yesterday (and very close for the 4 at the lead). But for the long race, i had so many problems (of lags apparently) with Canu. I drive with the external view so I see very good on my car sides. I try to be the most clean as possible. But sometimes I had some very little bumps with Canu (nobody's perfect) but for him, on his screen, he was seen a very big hit and he often went off the track. A was very amazed. So, I was waited for him that he takes his place back all the times cause I don't take advantage of a lag or bump someone to overcome. That's my philosophy.. 👍

qsilver cracked me up last night when he saw canu go into the sand behind him he said something like "I've never seen such a beautiful thing in my mirror" :lol::lol::lol:

I almost crashed at the next corner because I was laughing so much. But then I remembered canu is my team mate which really took the shine off.:ouch:

i made a mistake so what. i still don't think the difference in the sprint race would have been much different had aids been off as all qualifying times were close
and its the best 5 out of six races so it doesnt matter plus it was 1st for my group racing under homes rules. i made them aware of the fact that they pitted incorrectly but i don't see that has affected the rules as carbon and scale were both quick and would have been in the same positions had they pitted with in the windows
at the end of the day we race for fun so a mistake on there half shouldn't be handled in a heavy handed way
and homes im about to go through the replays to get positions and sum pics as all cars look immaculate as visual damage was off
 
Room 2 has had a shaky start and it is a fun series after all, maybe I am being a bit harsh. Sorry. Just dont want drivers at the end saying that missed out because things kept changing.
 
I had a chuckle. Shocker in the sprint but solid midfield in the feature. Hopefully I can find some pace somewhere. I also seemed to be the only one who pitted in the first window...
 
Hey guys. I'm doing the points but my replay of the sprint race seems to have gone AWOL. I have the finishing results but need the grid.
