at the Eiger rally there was approx 25 minutes overlap, DTM doesn't overlap,
 
Ahm, guys, is this dead again?

Anyways, I'm gonna announce 2 "spot races" that will be done during December/early January:

For rally (raid) freaks:
Coal And Steel Rally (Nürburgring, Le Mans, Chamonix, Monaco, possibly Monza, Toscana, Rome), cars will be the Mitsubishi Pajero Rally Raid and Toyota RSC Rally Raid cars, spec tba (as they're so different it might be PP based)

and/or

for endurance and GT freaks:
Passage to Coliseum endurance (yep, once again I stole a name from GT3 :D) with GT1/2/3-ish racecars (Diablo, Corvette, Viper, R8 LMS, Ford GT Spec 2, Fairlady/350Z LM Race Car, Zonda LM, Honda NSX LM), 2 drivers per make/model, max. 3 drivers in each car. Undecided if 500KM (most possible), 1000KM (least poosible) or 2 hours in free run mode.

So I just wanted to ask if I can do this under the W.M.A. banner (I'm doing at least 1 anyway so it's al a question if you want some advertising :) )

I'll be doing more during next year and maybe turn it into a championship for when WRC is done (be it one way or another :lol: )
 
I'm still downloading the tracks, but what I have run on seems ok, I have to say the driving physics are better then GT, but being online there is still room to grow,

I believe you get 1 track free, but you get all tracks available for practice, the worst part about this is you have to buy in to races, minimum $1 USD-Maximum $15 USD but the prizes are super cool,

also you earn a "purse"/"winnings" in which you can use to purchase cars and tracks, But not use to enter races, this is to try keep races clean, but you can earn them through TT event's that don't require you to purchase the track or car, so its a weird set up but it must work, I have looked for an hour to find a bonehead's highlights reel and they just come up for iRacing and rfactor, so all seem's well,

I did a race when it first came out, I saw Watkins glen now and.... I WANT IT!

Different touring cars
..

It's just a question of imagination :)
 
Guys, what if we use SCCA rulebook regulations (I've got them memorized) in a time-attack/autocross event?


We could easily make several variants of the Top Gear Test track, (using cars as chicanes, for example...)


We could also give them only one, single chance to set a run time, and eight runs, for example...


So, budget (I know how to) racing build, SCCA spec, one fastest run wins, eight chances to run a fastest run...


Or, we could use the WMA rallycross -type idea specs... I don't know, let's discuss any ideas.
 
well.... I kind of made rally cross tracks at monza, laguna seca, daytona road, they are difficult to explain and will require assistance from all participant's, I would need to show you,

Polar and I made a rallycross track at Nurb GP/D. It has a jump :lol:
 
so what's next for W.M.A.?

WRC Season I, and the Indy 500 later this morning is a supported event.


We'd love to see you at the Indy 500, man. It'll be a good field... Open practice at 10 AM EST, Quali at 11 AM EST, Race at 12 EST.

this is my driveshaft centre bearing, apparently a common issue with MR T-BAG model falcon's, it went unnoticed throughout its last 3 services then when I wanted to upgrade my clutch and had to get the brake pads replaced I noticed this,

now this being damaged has caused damage to the front driveshaft bearing and the rear gearbox bearing, BUT!

this bearing is not replaceable! nor is the drive shaft bearing or rear gearbox bearing!

how do you fix this then?

ford say I have to buy a complete new drive shaft,
and the rear gearbox bearing?
ford say I have to purchase the rear end of a gearbox! the bearings aren't interchangeable!

I'm seriously pissed! to purchase these items second hand its $1500, which isn't to bad but then they need to be installed, and there is no warranty on the centre bearing and I won't know how damaged it actually is,

to purchase these parts brand new I'm looking at $2300 just for the drive shaft and $2500 for the rear end of the gearbox!

@MrMel, the Indy 500 is looking good for almost a full field, peelster has been on the recruit :lol: but it would good to see Curtex there,

as for W.M.A events I'm looking at specing a Super Touring Car series for 2013 seeing as DTM failed to launch,

The fact that your XR8 is sorta kinda still running is a small blessing.


The check engine light's back on, on the Subaru; stupid catalytic convertor.
 
if you have the stereo codes for the car and what have you, a cure for everything with most cars that are electronic such as Ford's, Subaru's, Merc's ETC is to disconnect the battery and hold the positive and negative terminal's together for a few minutes, it reset's all the CPU's, maybe that's all it needs??

ive got a ways to go, i just got super stoked after only 10 secs on track. for some reason ive never thought of doing this haha
 
Just remember that its on comfort hard tires and even though its my event I won't be the room host, I will be online but at a 3 hour event, so keep an eye on the thread for the room number,
