1. The countries of the Free world(all free democratic) countries are planning to unite against terrorism
2. Big-Time Terrorists are supported by "states"(a.k.a. Nations, an in Iraq), whcih many of these states are located in the middle east.
3. It WOULD NOT be unexpected for other nations, susch as Russia and China to support these states, in a war against the Worlds' Free Democracys

Did you see the celebrations in Palestine? Makes me sick.
We've got to catch him. Even if it means melting all of Afghanistan down to find him, I'm all for it.
I really feel awful. Around my house, it's just chaos. The pilot of the United Airlines Pittsburgh flight lives up the street. Glad my dad (who's a United pilot that flys on the east cost a lot) wasn't flying today.
Let's all give Jason Dahl and everyone else injured and their families a moment of silence.

I first heard about it at 6:00 this morning. Since then i've been watching the news (CNN etc...) all morning.
I still cannot believe that those towers have gone. It is like this is some sort of, very realistic, bad dream.
If the US make the wrong moves, it will be the start of World War III.
Thank god i live over here in New Zealand.

I'm from Canada, but I still second everything that everyone has said. Especially the palestinians celebrating really made me sick. Bunch of B***ards!!!

It is bloody disturbing to see them celebrating like that.
I nearly beat up my 16 yr old brother, and 11 yr old sister this morning, because when they walked into the lounge and saw the news on the tv with the buildings etc collapse-ing, both of them started laughing, and thought it was funny.

The poulation of the town i am in is only 9-10,000. Which could all fit in just one of those towers.

Here is some scare ****:
The flights that were Highjacked were from United and AA, they were numbered as follows:
11, 93, 175, and 77
11 = Today's Date
9+3 = 12 = Tomorrow
1+7+5 = 13 = Thursday
7+7 = 14 = Friday
Hopefully this is a coincidence and the terrorists can't add. but if this is correct there will either be acts of terrorism every day for the next few days or a grand event the last day.

Well, I have never really considered myself patriotic. I have never really cared when an airline got hijacked and taken to a foriegn country. I've always been "oh well, stuff happen". Its different with this.
I may only be 17 years old, but this really pisses me off what happened today. It was a senseless act of terrorism and showed complete disrespect of human life. Now, don't take this wrong, I'm not a violent person, but I think who ever did this should be glowing after we finish with them. All countries harboring any terrorist group should be threatened/forced into cooperation to take strategic action against any and all known terrorist regimes. The world should unite and take SERIOUS, SERIOUS action against these groups and any nation harboring them that is not providing complete cooperation in locating the groups.
If any of you disagree, feel free to post it, but keep it clean... Thnx for your time.

I've been watching CNN since I first heard about the crash on the radio about 5mins after the second impact..
When I came back to the computer to see what friends of mine in the US were saying about it, and browsing the internet to try and get more information, all I was seeing were links to webpages of these people making jokes about the incident.. this one online store selling t-shirts which read "I crashed a plane into the world trade center" and on the back it read (obviously) "and all I got was this lousy t-shirt".. also (for people who have played CounterStrike for PC), there were pictures of the explosion from the second impact with the caption "Terrorists Win" and all the rest of the regular CS stats etc on-screen.. this made me more furious than I'd like to admit.. I honestly felt like shooting somebody.. luckily I don't own a gun..
I can babble on and on about how I feel and all that, but figured I'd share some other info with you all which is very interesting. (postings from alt.prophecies.nostradamus)

my heart goes out to every one in the states at this moment as this is the worst event i have ever known... the ppl responsible for this calas act need to be found and crushed and the ones that hide them are just as guilty... as for those f£*k's who were celebrating in the street about this well i neely broke my tv with such anger... carpet bomb those sick ppl

alright guys, here is a bit of info on the morning of the following day... The clean up has started.... ny is coming together and starting to put out some fires that had been burning all night, some of which included the mural litch, and american express buildings.... So far they have found 9 surviors, 7 fire men, and 3 police men... The ruble is amazing... saying it only appears to come up about 30 ft off the gorund, but are pointing out the rest is under ground.... It completly fell on itself, all the way down to the subway stations below.... This search will continue throughout the day, and most likly the week. No one wants to even think about the number of deaths possible, not to many people are guessing, but are sayin its going to make pearl harbors numbers look small. This is truely the worst attack on america. the thing you have to remember, the pentagon has never, never been attacked...
Planes are not suppose to be back in the air until 12pm today, but it might be postponed longer. thats also a weird picture for me, you have to realize to see no planes in the american skies, is kinda freaky!! My heart goes out to everyone, and I would like to thank jordan and everyone else that helps running this website allow us to have such a thread!! This is truly the best post based website!!!

one thing I would like to add.... There are poeple starting to wonder about the buildings themselves and why they didn't stay standing, and why weren't they built stronger... This is truely pissing me off As an architect major I would like to add my two cents... Please review those tapes, when the planes hit the buildings, the buildings dont even shake.... Thats even with major steel columns being taken out throughout the center.... Then they both lasted an hour after the attack... This is an amazing thought.... The buildings did the best that any engineer could dream of. The only, ONLY, reason they did finally fail was the heat of the jet fuel fire melted the steal, causing the floors above it to fall on top of the rest, which caused the deck of cards effect. I just don't wanna hear about the buildings should have been built stronger!!! Most high rises would have fallen right after being hit.... not even lasting an hour.... I commend the engineer of the towers, for even providing a building that lasted an hour under those conditions!!

I just got home from work, and I have quite a bit of info that isn't available yet from police officers, who are on the scene.
Two more bombs have been found, one on a bridge, and one at my local area mall. (which I went to yesterday to get out of the house, but was closed.) I don't want to say anything more about that until it hit's the news (such as which bridge and which mall), and then I'll give all the info that I have. If anyone lives in my area and reads this, stay away from any crowded public places until at least the weekend. The police that are available are currently scouring areas on the QT so they don't alarm the public.
Lastly, they are filling Shae (where the Mets play) stadium with bodies, and one officer said that at midnight when he left for home, he estimated about 1200 bodies or so.
