@%#$!!

wuz that the grand valley race w/ the miata?

no, you are thinking of the apricot hill endurance race that only allows you to use the miata. the grand valley endurance race is a normal endurance race; you can use any car and it is 300 km long. (i feel sorry for you Joey, it has happened to me on a smaller race :banghead: :banghead: :p )

Dude no way. My worst was when I tried the second last time attack with the lancer. I got within the limit by 0.050 at least 20 times and finally after 8 hours I got it right and by more than 0.6

I think I`ve had worse tho but that one is most mermorable coz I can`t think of anything else when I drive a lancer or see one

I have 2 the first is my GT2 i had at the time a GSPro and had hybrided a LM edition car you win i cant remember which but it was a corvette i had fine tuned it and had the weight down to 100 pounds and like 3500 hp that thing could win any race had perfect handling it was just perfect well i had a copy of it on the vmem on the pro and a copy on both of my reg. mem cards after my station died i gave the pro to my freind and bought me a psone and a damn cdx that didnt quite work right well i had just moved to mansfield to live with my gf and the cdx erased one of my cards that was ok i had another one with the same garage and my car well after a year i moved back home and when i unpacked my stuff i found that her brothers had stole my copy of gt2 and my mem cards that was ok i bought another gt2 and went to my friends house to get my other save off the pro and some how the pro had totally reset the vmem but not the codes so i lost it and i still cant recreate it and i have been trying for a year now to do it.

My GT3 storie when me and my friend where playing and he had a car i wanted to but off him i was like 80 something complete with over 100 cars i went and bought the car from him then i got up and went to the bathroom and asked him to save it for me and he went and saved his game over mine only thing is i didnt find out for about 6 hours cause after he saved he loaded his game up so we could ilink and race and he had more tracks unlocked than i did and we raced for 5 hours then he fell asleep so i went to load mine to finish my series i was racing at the time and i woke him up when i hit him with the cotroller i still have gotten back to that percentage yet cause i keep starting over for one reason or another like this week when i got my xport dont ask me how but my mem card got erased before i could back it up and i was just about back to 50% now that sucked

and it is posible to do a flip in gt3 it is just very hard to do

That time when I was driving a 600HP S4 in Trial Mountain...

End of the last lap was almost in my sight...I was trying to pass through the last "S" turning before the finishing line without deaccelerating (I had did this using a C5R before)...And the S4 understeers (After all,a normal 4WD is different from a FR T_T)...Then I was IN THE AIR...And then hit the left side of the course in a speed OVER 250KPH and an angle of 90 DEGREE...

Of course...I was alive because it was a game...

My worst moment was when i accidently scratched my gt3 disc while taking it to work!!!!!!!!!

a month without gt3 sheer hell had to get by with gt2!

buying a car on gt4 to try it out and being stuck with it cause of auto save.....

...every time I lose at any challenge. Those are the worst times....

I think that's the wrong way to go about the game. The way I see it, real racers don't HAVE a redo button so to speak. They have to deal with any lost race they have. At first I'd always reset if I got second or worse. Then I'm like, hey, that's no fun. I learned to lose, I suppose. It's always hard to lose hour long races and whatnot but it happens.

Anyone else agree/disagree?

my worsest moment in GT2:

I think I have been using my race modded Yokohama Lancer, and was doing a race, which I couldn't win since I didn't had the right car. Finally I was 1st,and in the last corner,I slipped, and became last.

And again

And again

And again

And again

...

if i lose i dont give a ****. losing is losing, having 100% win ratio is ****ing stupid. makes you seem like a egotastic bastard :yuck:

Yeah... you will be restarting like crazy if you want to have 100% win ratio and high Aspec pts. I only finnish the race if i am going to win at least 100 a-spec pts. Lots of times i enter a race with a car too powerfull, so i have to exit out. :indiff:

Recently when racing, i pressed the handbreak by accident and spun out. :indiff:

On the last lap of a trial mountain race against my friend who was driving a S class camaro and i was driving a s2000 spec-v i hit the S turn to fast and went up onto the side wall, thus sending my little car flying sideways into the wall and letting my friend pass me.

1.corrput game save after getting it to 87% done and like 3million credits

2.after starting over doing an edurance while extremely tired then thinking i saved.

that sux man..

I still got 8 milion saved up for those LMP cars. I havent been playing lately.. too busy with LFS. If my save got corrupted i probably wouldnt play for months.

last lap in laguna seca endurance...second turn before finish line, i wanted win so much (I drove like crazy because i played game about 3 hours)i pushed gas a little and then my rear wheels went off road, my car start twisting and stopped in the middle of the sand...almost all cars overtook me and i finnished 5th...after this trauma i didnt play gt3 for about month...

Joey
actually, you can lose by "+0.000".
if you finish @ the same time as the competition, you lose.
That actually happened to me in GT2. I wasn't too happy after that. I also finished a championship tied, and lost. Arrrgh!!!!

My worst moment was after I had got all the licenses and compleated all the Rally
races and most of the beginer league when my brother wanted to buy my car and
saved his game over mine and he had just barley started. So I had to start from the
very begining again. All the license tests was the biggest pain... I didn't mind the
races so much because I really enjoyed racing. (bought a back up save card right
away)

My worst moment would have to be when I was trying to gold the S licences... fresh from my success of golding the Seattle test with the GT40, I felt I could do anything!! It was only when I got to the S licence screen and saw that there was still a Bronze cup under the Seattle test that I realised that, although I had saved the replay, I hadn't saved the game before switching off, and had to do it again... :banghead:

Also, finishing the GT World Championship in Professional mode on equal points with my main opponent... you automatically get put in 2nd place, because you didn't 'win'.. 👎 👎 :grumpy:

worst was when i finished 2nd in the F1 challenge. it was the last race of the challenge/game!!; it would determine who would win the whole thing, cuz there was this one other car that had about the same amount of points as me and i just had to win. towards the end my car started to feel real slow... i think it needed oil change or something, and soo... yea i lost

Worst GT moment.
Realising that all that time spent Golding the license tests in the previous GT game meant nothing when I started the newest GT release.

Mine was in gt2.

I went into the main menu, and clicked save. Whilst saving, i accidentally hit triangle. The save terminated, and when i returned to the game, al of my data had gone. Luckilly, i still had my previous save, but i had spent about 6 hours doing races, which got deleted.

ohh.... my experience must be the worse,

I have 2 very bad exp in GT. The first is in GT2, one of my friends has erased my game, and I don't had a back up, at this moment, I had raced about 830 races and was the winner in about 800 of them, and the 100% was doned a whole year before this. I want to do it again, so I was going for the 100% again, and the new is so my save game today with over 2.300 races and a win ratio at 100.00% hehe

My second bad exp was here in GT4, I don't now why, but I lost all my cars, just one car back (alfa Romeo crap-car '99, ****!!!), when I was stading at 95,7% complation. I have my back up memory card, and it shoud opdates, and so the failere came, the day after I took the 100%, and now I've complated all the races for the second time hehe

my strangest monent was when i was playing gt3 and i thought "ah screwit" and i loaded up gt2. now i am really enjoying gt2. wtf is wrong with my brain

My worst nightmares are all down to the fact that analogue stixs are not my cup of tea....

GT1. In the normal race where you have to drive an NSX to even stand a chance i tried to complete it for over two weeks. Then on the last round (i think it was on ssr5 backwards but i havent played it for two years) i got coming out of the tunnel all wrong, my NSX stopped dead and this, i think...,gto went hammering past me to win the whole championship by the usual point or two. I actually felt like throwing my ps2 at someone or other....

GT3.Forget that pit stops carry on (auto-drive), went for a wazz and a fag/tea combo and went back 15 minutes to realise i was in the gravel on the first corner on g valley speedway enduro. This is half way thru as well, gutted................

The other one is my flipping oil light keeps coming on in formula gt after 6 races though i'd changed the oil in a brand new polyphony 001.

I've only got 1.3% to go.....AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH.
