I'm sort of dissapointed with online lobbies mostly, which is why I haven't played them in a while. I can't find one with people that like to race stock cars; cars with no modifications equipped at all other then an oil change or tires (or just plain stock). I mean, there's shuffle lobbies and those are fun, but I want to be able to drive my stock Corvette or Gallardo against other cars with not mods equipped.

Me too, feel free to send me an FR:stiggygonzalez
I've been trying to find lobbies racing the new corvette and there either full or there isn't any.
I like racing at weekends around midday GMT.:)

Well the worst and funniest thing I've ever came accross was in a chilling lobby on minacco (cotz de something), we were all racing round to see who get the quickest lap time, and two guys in GT-R's blocked the track together and no one could get past even fully ramming them, It was the funniest thing ever hahaha

I LOVE RACING STOCK CARS! I made a room that said "Stock Supercars SH-SS" and we got a TONNE of members. You learn a little about the cars everytime you race.

Joined my friend on a drift room in Tsukuba.

After leaving the pits and driving a few laps I checked the room settings and noticed the ABS was turned off along with the driving line and traction control.

The weird thing is, the host did allow the use of SRF and ASM.

So, curious as I was, asked in general why such settings.

After that I see my friend replying lol to my message and right after that I get kicked. No explanation given.

Cool, I'll add you this weekend. I was able to join one room where they had corvette C7s against ferrari 599s. It was an alright room, except a few players would keep budging me in the corners.

Awesome. That's why I love racing cars with stock specs; you learn more about them and racing stock is more interesting imo since it's down to just the car and the driver.

Driving in my Stock GTR Fully Tuned Stock Exhaust Stock paint Stock body and wheels...

Just Cruising Guy comes out of no where pits maneuver me :| ANd he kepy crashing into me i just left

Stock GTR Fully Tuned
uhh.... what?

OK, I've got a new one. I was in a cops lobby and the host (even younger than me) was speaking on his mic ALL THE TIME. It was so annoying. I was doing hotlaps and couldn't concentrate. Then, he started the race, jumped into his beloved X1 and won by miles. He typed "yayyyyyyy" in the chatbox and after that I just left the room because I didn't like it. X1 vs. HSC is unfair. :grumpy: I just didn't want to pull out my X1 because... I don't like beating others by a country mile and I only use it for speed testing.

:@: Ross: I share this account with my brother.

Who's gonna get post #3000? :D

What?

On topic: Yesterday, I was in a good lobby but one of the racers was dirty. He punted me on the last lap at Rascasse (Monaco) when I was about to take the lead. Why is there always that one 🤬?

Element Racer, I think you'll get post #3000 and I'll get reply #3000. Next target will be 3333!

Sometimes the AI is dirty. I'm racing 24 hrlemans and i was racing towards mulsanne. i overtook a lmp on the precluding chicane exit, then, at mulsanne, he proceeds to race up the inside of me and force me into the sand.

What about me getting PIT'd on the final straight of Like the Wind Indy while I was in the lead? :ouch:

I do believe that the AI is not so dirty as online racers though.

??????? Stock Gtr fullytuned ??????

Driving in my Stock GTR Fully Tuned Stock Exhaust Stock paint Stock body and wheels...

It's fully tuned except for the exhaust, which he kept stock, along with no body or wheel modifications. I'm guessing for a sleeper look.

Anyways earlier i was in a decent racing room until the last race on Spa, where this person shows up and decides to use my rear bumper for braking and using the first two shortcuts to try and pass me. Luckily i ended up winning, but since the rammer was of another nationality(assuming they dont understand english)i just decided to leave.

I don't trust "clean" rooms anymore. Punting people into walls and PITing them on the final straight isn't exactly the best example of clean racing. 👎

EDIT:

GT5Power's online session: Saturday, February 2nd 2013

Room 1:

Title: GT500 / MIC ONLY

Quality: Bad. I met a GTPer there, but there was some REALLY dirty racing going on there. Some 🤬 sent me into the wall at 225 kph (140 mph). After that, I went bye bye. 👎

Room 2:

Title: change pp hp track

Quality: Best room ever. I strongly recommend it. Super clean racing. After the race, the players voted for a new track and the winner set the new PP limit. My last race there was the best I've ever had. Before I left, I sent the host a Friend Request. Online racing can be awesome sometimes. 👍

Room 3:

Title: COPS 70MPH LEFT

Quality: Good. This room was actually COPS. I became a cop and chased speeders with my "team" (there was a "leader of the cops" too) until I had to leave. I had great fun. 👍
Online racea are good until some noob rocks up in a vw bus and blocks chicago off at dunsfold
What kind of idiot would do that? :dunce:

Currently in a lobby titled "realistic driving". The host is basically an 🤬. Apparently the lobby is just about driving around the track (should've guessed from the title right?) and I'm not allowed to park my car anywhere on the track and leave it ghost (even if I'm not exactly on the course). The people playing cops got mad at me for doing that when I didn't even know at first hand (it just said 'realistic driving', there were no rules listed).

Also, why can't people be more specific with their rooms?

EDIT: It wasn't the host being a jerk, it was some other person (my mistake, sorry). His rules are actually fair and the lobby is some what decent. I guessed I was mad for people getting on me since I didn't know the rules at first. There's no speed limit in the lobby, and you can drive clean with just about any car.

It's like most of the dirty racing that occurs online happens on La Sarthe. Doing a CRAP recruitment race and people always cut corners and ram people into barriers. I can't tell ya how many times the host kicked people out for dirty racing in a lobby that says "Clean Drivers Only". Clean lobbies would attract more dirty drivers instead.👎

I think the NASCAR lobbies really get on my nerves from time to time. No matter how "clean".

They can be really fun but once I get to the 8th lap people start lagging and pitting me on turns.

Even worse getting booted out of a lobby due to someone else's laggy connections.

They're still pretty damn fun tho.

Few days back I looking for a lobby that is perfect and I found the most appealing lobby and the current track was Suzuka East Circuit. 2 Seconds after entering I heard some kid saying my team sucks lol and I just ignored him and kept on playing then once I was drifting (I swear I had the best drifting line and one wheel was on the ripple strip) then this australian dude just rammed me out of nowhere and followed me for the entire time then I got tired of him speaking and ramming so I just left and I'm not suprised he messaged me saying random stuff but all I said was "Come 1v1 with proper judges and a filmer" then he backed off and just started swearing at me. Blocked him -.-' I swear he's about 9 years old he was screaming like a 🤬 girl.

Only if there's no rule about not revealing people PSN ID.

This one time, i went into this drifting lobby and got in my drift car, a BMW GTR '03, best 250k i ever spent, and proceeded to start drifting around Autumn Ring, Awesome drift track.

As i entered the track, i saw about 5 people all line up at the start finish line for the mini course.

didn't think much of it, and started fanging it around the corners really smooth like. As i approach them they all come towards me and ram me head on. and 1 against 5 isn't good odds. so i left the track, changed car, and gave them a taste of their own medicine in my tuned Tank car. hahahahaha

then i left

The biggest problem I have, as a host, keeping my room clean, is that no one wants to name names.

People just leave. Many times it happens during a race. I will just see a message like "this is a dirty room", and the guy just leaves.

I am very careful about choosing friends, and I give any friend the power to kick someone who is dirty, all they have to do is tell me.

I always ask my friends to tell me if someone is dirty, but most of the time they don't.

Hosts can't be everywhere and see everything.

People need to help the hosts keep their rooms clean.

IT'S OVER THREE THOUSAND!

On topic: Dirty racers are everywhere now. Ah well, I bet that's just a normal encounter. :dopey:

Go to a dirty room and you find clean racers. Go to a clean room and find dirty racers.

Commonsense

dirty racers don't want to have their own medicine so they go to clean rooms and bully. so now clean racers go to the rooms labelled dirty
