Actually that room I was in also had X1's. But mainly Tank Cars becuase they seemed to enjoy driving in the opposite direction to ram people and type disgusting chat messages. Maybe next time I'll race or cruise with GTPlanet members only because its unlikely I will see gross messages again.

EDIT: I stumbled upon a Super GT500 room on Sarthe 2009 (chicaned) with weather and time change. As soon as I entered the track, the host started the race. I thought: Oh, this is gonna be an amazing race. :drool: WRONG. I got punted at the first corner by TWO racers and made it through with light suspension damage. I then got a short cut penalty because I put a wheel into the "out of bounds" area. :grumpy: The host, who was leading, got a severe short cut penalty for cutting Tertre Rouge (spelling?) and ragequit when the car in 2nd and I passed him. I tried to draft the other guy and when I got close, he and the racer in last ragequit too. :rolleyes: That left 2 out of 5 racers on the track and we were still far from Mulsanne. I was leading by quite a big margin and - I got teh kik. 🤬

I guess they couldn't stand the awesomeness of GTP. :sly:

Had the usual suspects in a cops lobby earlier. Some berk in a Tank Car. I had the usual deterrent, an RS 6. So did one of my friends. This was different though.

Normally, we draw attention to ourselves when bullying the Tank Car users. It's hard not to. Two 900BHP estates P.I.T manouvering a Tank is naturally quite a sight. Sometimes we get people telling us to sod off. Much more commonly, other people in the lobby will be equally annoyed at the Tank Car as we were, and hence they follow suit and join us in their own supercars to smash the Tank Car.

However, in this lobby, we were mostly ignored, aside from one guy who was helping us... in a Honda Integra DC5. What a hero.

I would like to join you in these fail cops lobbies with my RS 6 Avant :)
 
Our usual prey is much faster cars since I can keep up most of the time. The Integra did a pretty good job... compared to the guy in the VW 1200 last month helping me.

It's a DLC car, it's in the same car pack as the V12 Vantage and Aventador and other slightly, only, faster cars. :lol:

I get disconnected from 2 out of 3 rooms I enter before I even see the track. And when I DO manage to get in, I get kicked because

Immature Honda fanboys ramming you when your waiting to drag race at SSR7.Brazilians coming in JDM drag rooms with X1s and European race cars because some are sooo desperate to win. These are just some of the real hardships dealing with idiots online. Not being racist or prejudice just being honest this happpens everytime i play but i still love the exhilirating,exciting experience of gt5 and no idiot can take that away.

Honda make some of the best handling cars on GT5. On another note, I'd be glad to join ya GT5Power. My main problem with 'car fanboys' is mainly the Nissan GT-R fanboys. Good cars, but for the most part, bad drivers. This fact is highlighted when my Audi RS 6 overtakes them before brake-checking them because they tried to block me.
 
Room host inherits room from somebody else, crashes in race and then quits to kick everyone out of the room so that that no one inherits the room.
 
I got kicked out of 4 rooms in a row last week because of my entry comment "I joined because i can." The other day i got kicked because of my PSN ID.
 
I joined a gt500 room called "no joke gt500." When the race start already started finished,I drove my weider around the track(we were at Monza.).i keep doing practice laps until the host starting the race.there was 6 people in the race.when the race started,the start off the line wasn't too bad until we was braking and turning for the first corner.then it was a bit messy.when we was at the quick left right handers,someone bump into me so hard,that the force of the bump was generated from my car into someone else's car.so,one of the drivers was in the sand and exited out of the track and 2 people already exited out of the track.at the end of the race,one of the guys in the room said he is going to open a another room because someone on the room is dirty.im not dirty until the race is dirty.so this race was petty much the drivers fault.not mine

Sometimes, offline mode can be really fun. If online is getting on your nerves, go offline and do the following:

  • Tune your cars for top speed. You'll be very busy with tuning and you'll forget about online play.
However, if you REALLY want to teach those idiots a lesson, go ahead. The above are just suggestions. :)

EDIT: I had a great, clean race (which I won, BTW), but SOMETHING always ruins it for you. The power went out and I got corrupted data for the THIRD time. After I restored the data, yep, another power cut and corrupted data for the FOURTH time. Twice in 10 mins (I believe that's a world record :P). I restored again and now I'm too afraid to play any game (but I'm mainly worried about GT5) on my PS3 :nervous:

EDIT2: Backed up my save and now I'm playing again :)

I'm so mad right now. I was leading a race on Sarthe 2009 and coming up to the Porsche RUF Curves in the last lap, a guy punted me into the sand. I lost about 20 seconds and finished last. Thanks for ruining my last online race of the weekend, stupid rammer! :banghead:

When I enter a room:


  • I get kicked because some idiots get butthurt when an 11 year old (me :sly:) beats them

  • I get kicked for no reason at all

  • I get kicked because of my nationality

  • I get kicked because I lag

  • I get disconnected within a minute of entering the room

  • The room is dull and I decide to leave

Today, I got kicked or disconnected 10 times from ~20 rooms.

What can I do? :confused:

Which reminds me of a drift lobby I made. This girl joined (I won't say her name, but she is VERY fond of the color pink. I'm pretty sure every car she has is pink) and this one guy kept hitting on her (what a loser). After numerous times of him making himself look like an idiot, she said she has a girlfriend. EVERYONE in the lobby tore that guy to pieces. And then I kicked him ;)

I'm sort of dissapointed with online lobbies mostly, which is why I haven't played them in a while. I can't find one with people that like to race stock cars; cars with no modifications equipped at all other then an oil change or tires (or just plain stock). I mean, there's shuffle lobbies and those are fun, but I want to be able to drive my stock Corvette or Gallardo against other cars with not mods equipped.
 
The idiots who can't race properly should be taught how to race properly instead of banging into everyone ruining there race :)
