On another note, I have found somewhat of a solution to the Red Bull problem. Bring Friends, and Audi RS 6's. I've got one broken in to 956BHP. What a machine. With my tune, it can keep up with potentially faster cars, I love it. Basically, in a match of power vs. traction, the RS6 wins.

Essentially just go in the opposite direction to the Red Bull (assuming he's a terrible driver and an utter pillock at that) and head on smash it. Because of the weight difference, the Red Bull will most likely be sent bakcwards, while you still carry on going. I consider that a win.

It gets better still if you're on a small track, and you're near enough stopped, and the X1 driver is trying to push you backwards. The power and 4WD of the Audi just goes through the hallowed fantasy machine! Happy days.

Always happy to help. Me and one of my friends have such a laugh having playtime with X1 'drivers'.

A mid-range turbo, comfort hard tyres and a transmission limited to about 100mph should do the trick.

Audi RS 6's are incredible machines. I just suck at tuning AWD cars, plus the RS 6 is long and coupled with AWD so.... understeer galore! LOL

The shuffle Audi RS 6 Avant (2025 kg) from post #2907 had a lot of grip on Sports Hards. I beat an Alfa 8C by 2 seconds, a 2002 Dodge Viper GTS by 14 seconds and a 1999 Dodge Viper GTS by 20 seconds. I can't even imagine what it would be like on Racing Softs.

On topic: I decided to take my 86 GT for a cruise on the TGTT. BIG mistake. 3 people had X1s and they kept ramming me. I had to drive in the grass to avoid getting hit. Didn't work. I got hit by an idiot who was driving a Citroen C4 WRC and thought that he could drift in the grass. SERIOUSLY? He proceeded to yell at me and he didn't stop until I left the room.

Thanks, the Aventador is mine, leading a cruise that our club did a while back. Though my RS 6 has barely any understeer at all, for what it is.

I had to deal with a kid once on COD: World at War that was just as annoying. I was playing Nazi Zombies on Verruckt and he kept trying to get me to do a stupid glitch when I prefer to play legit.

Anyway, back on subject; when I am in a lobby, there's always some fool in there that's stalking me around the course as if they're trying to race me or something.

Here's one from last night;

Joined a cops/cruise lobby, and the moment I heard kids' voices I knew it was going to be absolute 🤬.

I stay in to see if I can manage to piss them off enough (the host had a Mt. Aso track where if you went backwards you could get good air off of a jump, though not as good as the infamous Eifel track.)
The one kid (I'm assuming 8-12, that is literally how he sounded through the mic) was driving around in a Red Bull X2011, trying to show off. The host was screaming every time he'd get air, and I mean even if his wheel came off of the ground through a curve (he was driving a Pikes Peak Quattro.)

I get on the track in the X2010 Vettel, and the kid goes nuts begging me for it. Calling me "GTB" all the while, he demanded to know how I got it, and I told him, with him yammering in my ear.
Another guy (I'm assuming he was Hawaiian, judging by the name) went out in a Vettel, and the guy was apparently on the kid's Friends List. He then yammered at the poor dude asking him to send him it or put it on Share.

I then switched to the Ferrari 330 P4... and another round of demanding to know how I got it, asking me how much money do I have and such. I told him I used a 1967 Ticket for it (this was WAY back when I thought the infamous 650pp Seasonal on Grand Valley Speedway with the McLaren F1 Race Car was undefeatable) and he proceeded to go nuts again. Literally dying to beg me for one.

At this point, I'm trying so hard not to die of laughter, along with the rest of the family that was paying attention. I then bring out the Ford MkIV Race Car, while another guy in the room brings out the 1969 GT40 - the actual one, not the 2004/5 imitation. He goes nuts again, asking me the same crap over and over again, still calling me "GTB".

I then came out in a Miura, and you can all guess what happened next. (I would have gone out in the XJ13 if I had had one, which I also got right after this had happened.)

After a while, the host asks everyone to come out in a LMP car. The kid picked a R89C, saying "This is the best one." I get out the R92CP, and... for the fifth time... I had to lower the volume.

I left after that, it was getting to be too much.

Oh yeah, one of my major pet peeves of GT5, I deal with now. Going into a lobby where the lobby is nothing like what the title says. I was expecting a JDM cruise lobby, but got a lobby full of what I assume to be kids driving like idiots. Someone is in a veyron, another person was in a Formula GT, and there was a kid driving the backwards way around the track in his GTR, now there's a x1 redbull. So I left.

I really hate it when I join a lobby when the original host is no longer in control, I fricken hate it.

Reminds me of the dirty racing lobby I was in a week ago titled "Girls vs Boys Dirty Racing". The only girl was the host and holy crap; a lot of the guys in the lobby were going crazy over her. One guy kept defending her due to another player being a jerk (at least I think that's what happened, I wasn't paying much attention). She's actually good at dirty racing, she won each time and the lobby was fun for the most part, I kept coming in 6th, 7th, or 8th place out of 12-16 players.

It's even more ridiculous on Playstation Home actually. I use to be on it a lot a couple years ago and I saw girls always being hitted on by some knucklehead. I'm sorry, but video games are no way to get a girlfriend. I prefer real life when it comes to things like that.

To the two of you getting annoyed at getting kicked for driving an X1 and people being too slow, add me if you'd like people to race. I can control it and I know guys who drive it a lot. They're nice and we're all willing to help people get faster.

IMO, racing with the X1 if you know how to, is an art. It's just that so many people don't bother to learn how it's used. If it weren't for X1 trolls or rammers, there would be HEAPS of X1 lobbies. I just don't know why they did this to the X1...

PD should restrict the use of the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 in 550pp lobbies. I'm sick of getting smoked all the time. If I get beaten by a clean racer, I appreciate it (and of course send a FR), but the Speed 12 having 550pp is just unfair! Even my HSC with Praiano63's tune can't beat it because it's SO fast on the straights!

What i hate is, EVERY cop lobby ends in 30 minutes and then turns into a drag lobby. Solution: kick them all out(except the goodies), wait for a fresh group of people and play!

This isn't a bad thing, but...
I was in a free run room on the Top Gear track, and a person (possibly transsexual) made strange noises when bumped into. Needless to say, everyone hitting "shim," who began screaming when hit and trying to get away (though obviously enjoying it). Everyone had a huge laugh and it was a great time. I added someone from that room and just the other day, I was in a room with him and a similar situation occurred. I said, "Just like old times, right x?" We proceeded to laugh until we were exhausted.
Okay, the worst was probably some jerk who got an X1 and rammed into every single person, told everyone to kiss his... yeah, and left. If only I had remembered to block him.
