Currently in a Nurburgring lobby, someone is ramming with a Tank Car. Feel free to join and help out.
Disregard this he got rejected.

Because of these things I can't never use the Tank Car without someone complaining at me. And it's such a shame. I love to cruise around in that car and I certainly respect other players when on it.

So much hate for the Tank Car because of noobish kids using it to ram people with it. The car is an incredible cruiser and the only thing to hate about it is the fact that it's a standard.

*joins a drag lobby with an r32. Yes, I'm very "original".*
*challenged by hacked Range Stormer.*
*loses*
*leaves drag lobby.*

I just need to blow off some steam because I was racing a random dude online for two laps of La Sarthe, and the entire race he was complaining that my 800hp R390 Road Car was basically a race car, and he specifically said street cars only. He was driving a 1000+hp Viper ACR :indiff:

We traded the lead several times, and he ended up beating me by a few seconds. Then I had to another ten minutes defending myself by typing crazy things like "my car has 'road car' in its name", and "I'm pretty sure the ACR was built specifically for tracks days...", to which he would respond with something like "u mad cus I beat your racecar".

I had to ragequit because typing with the controller is too much work.

Johnny's Foolproof Guide For Circuit Racers to Avoid the Worst of Open Lobbies:
...

Very well said Johnny, thanks! 👍 Maybe my friends, which who I'm racing online, will quote your post on their threads, if you agree of course. :)

The thing that irritates me when drifting online is those amateurs who have paused the game but not thought of pulling to the side of the track, putting the handbrake on and then pausing the game. This then results in cars going at snails pace around the track blocking the drifting/racing line for everyone.

It's a shame so many people don't have the common courtesy to simply pull over and not get in the way of others. :(

The ghost glitch. Two sides of the coin.

When you do the ghost glitch with a bunch of people in the lobby, you can pass through other people without an issue. But when people join while you are ghosted, you are an immovable object and can knock away the people that just joined. When a car ghosts in the middle of the track, this causes the same problem for people just joining.

Please spread the word to every person you see doing this glitch. Tell them to redo the glitch every time someone else joins and when they are going to park their car, park as far away from the actual track as possible.

I understand what you mean bud but people shouldn't have to glitch just to avoid others. Especially when it is so easy to stop, put the handbrake on and then go invisible by pausing the game.

Anyway, I'll spread the word bud!

Tried this yesterday while going for a lap in my ISF RM around Nurburgring. It worked perfectly, and all was going smooth...until a 'Ring dragger joined. I saw him going the wrong way, and aimed right for him (I have no respect for people who turn Germany's beloved and classical racing course into a glorified drag-strip). I hit him so bloody hard he flew back up and over the hill past where the straight ends and right into the wall. Me? I was completely unaffected and continued on.
PS: Forgot to mention he was in a gold chrome McLaren F1 with red Enkei 6-spokes. :yuck:

Haha...by all means. Anything to help people make better choices is a worthwhile effort. 👍👍

I think you got it a bit backwards. The Viper ACR is street legal and doesn't differ from the regular Viper other than the aerodynamics, the semi-slick tires and the adjustable suspension. The Viper ACR X (which is not in the game) is however a full blown track car.

The 390 is essentially a race car with one extra seat, interior trim, a nice paint work and street tires. There isn't even a single R390 running in the streets since no one owns the only one that exists. Tune the engine to those limits, put racing tires, and you'll have more of a racecar than any Viper could possibly be.

So you were the guy who smashed into my bangin' Chrome F1!

:sly:

Had a go at free running online with randoms for the first time in months yesterday. 70MPH left, London. Was alright, till I got on the track. Me in a stock V12 Vantage, them in tuned up Veyrons and Audi people wagons. All them on RS with TC, SRF etc. Turns out they were going 3 wide round London! That's not 70mph. At one point I was cruising at 20mph up towards a 90 degree turn just for a Veyrons to screech round wiping me out and greeting me with "Play clean or I'll kick you". Figured I'd just leave after that.

Was on a lobby this morning a "Cruise" room on Toscana Tarmac. Cruising at 70MPH left hand side 6th gear. Some douche canoe comes up behind me in a modded up RS6. Proceeds to ram me hard and then pause and say "Beeched's ramming" I promptly got kicked.

Got banned from using my Caterham "Performante Italia" (It's basically a road going Deltawing-philosophy) as I could keep up with hosts M3 at Suzuka.

I then got booted after host decided to go "For lap record" in his Minolta (no race car room) and I deliberately blocked him at the first, third and seventh corners while saying "No racecars, remember?"

I was just in a great room, things started off OK in this uk cruise room at mt aso. The host then disappeared and everybody pulled out hacked cars and started to drag racing. I pulled on my ford pick in orange, with maximum weight, hp and high suspension. Put it this way nothing got in my way, and after a while the hackers and drag racers started to leave, I think I cleared most of the lobby.

Edit Just finished my beer, and I am the host, win for the anti troll patrol.

You! In the orange Ford. Have you been drinking this evening?

In a room right now where the host is giving drifting lessons with Sports Hard and a Murcielago. He claims he's good at drifting after a month of playing. What the ****.

He's either overconfident or dumb.

First I learned MT driving, then I learned drifting through youtube videos, no easy task for me at all on GTPSP :ouch:

Yep.

The pinnacle of online GT5 stupidity.

He ended this thread ladies and gentlemen

They were looking for La Sarthe, and kept describing the track and when I put the name of the track they ignored and thought I was speaking gibberish.

They settled for Autumn Ring to "drift". Gonna leave now.

Please do it. Do it before your IQ starts to drop due to this stupidity, do it for your own sake 👍

Worst I've dealt with is bunch of people asking me if I am a boy or girl. And calling me crazy things. And this guy was my friend but he acted totally different. Calling me a possum.
