Also RCG, get outta there, do it for your own sake.
I did, I got bored anyway.

You're not Dan then, you must be called Rufus?
You like rufs. So I call you RufusCallmeDerp
A bunch of people (Mostly TheKitten I think?) have been using that for when I derp up.
I discovered that the Taurus SHO makes a great anti-X1 Vehicle. It's pretty much a 1700kg barrier, 1100 of which being powered by the front wheels.
The Audi RS6 Avant '08 is the best. AWD, 900+ HP fully tuned and it will always win in a tug-of-war scenario with an X1. Basically if you two are nose to nose and are trying to push each other away, the RS6 is guaranteed to win since the X1 is very light and has very bad initial torque.
Eric1512Well I joined a random lobby and I was just drifting around hitting all of the right lines doing better then usual when I get attacked by a X1. I then "Politely" ask him why he did it. No reply, so then I do about two more laps and get rammed again. So I went on with my drifting and I got hit a 3rd time. This time around I ask the host to kick him. My luck the host was not there, so I left the room showing no signs that he was bothering me. I find it funny how some people can be. There are many other rooms on gt5, if I do not like the room I am in or someone is bugging me I move on. If you feed the fire, the fire will get bigger.
Right. Just happened to get out of a lobby. Someone decided to tell me that I wasn't thinking by typing to talk while I have a mic plugged in. Since I don't ever really unplug my Eye, I can only assume he heard the background noise (of which there is very little). So after that I muted him and unplugged the mic. I don't care for people who are going to immediately assume my intelligence level based upon how I do things. On the other hand, it makes that person look like a total jerk and get a one way ticket to the block list. Some people...
Just an observation. lol
The observation was that I had a mic plugged in, but was typing. That's fine. The thing that's not fine is him assuming that I'm unintelligent for not wishing to use the microphone. He also decided to use that as a reason for distrust of my on-track conduct before I'd even raced him. Instead of showing my discontent vocally, in typing, or in bad racecraft, I just raced to get podiums cleanly, which I got.
Well what did he say exactly? Just curious.
Apparently that guy doesn't think when he should be eitherSomething along the lines of "You must be one of them people who doesn't think when it counts." I really wanted to comment back and say "Because thinking very hard in a video game matters very much when I'm taking a short break from college homework." I play GT5 to relax, not to be insulted by random people on the internet. So I just blocked and muted him so I never have to hear him again. Problem solved!
Half the people in the room have raced against me and know that I'm clean, fair, and know how to make good, sound decisions both on and off the track.
Now then. I'll try my luck again tonight. I mainly use this thread to vent bad experiences, despite much of them actually being good.
Indeed. Hypocrites like that are everywhere!Apparently that guy doesn't think when he should be either

Somehow I never really found an X1 driver annoying enough to make me break out a special car, however, I did have a Dodge Ram waiting. Even with the weight reduction it weighs about 4400lbs by my quick mental math. Add a Hemi V8 with lots of low-end torque because pickup truck and it should have worked pretty well.
Can anyone explain all these "KSA" and "DrrrB" rooms at Dunsfold TopGear Test Track? The majority of them are designated as Drift lobbies yet they're full of people in their jacked-up pickups tank-slapping down the runway.
Slightly unrelated, but everytime I used to play GTA IV multiplayer in a session that wasn't ruined by hackers, I would always see a player with "KSA" in their names. I always tried to PM them and ask what "KSA" meant, but they never answered. Anti-social clanboys.
I think someone said they are a big hacking group.
