I've beaten people in the LFA to my left at 550pp class in a 540pp tune.

Bet that was quite embarrassing for them with the whole, you know, "pink-car-beat-you" thing.

I actually beat an X1 driver round Nurburgring in my NSX once, heavy damage was on so that helped.

I wonder if the X1 was on RS tires, ABS 10, TCS 10, SRF On, and had all the other assists on.

Joined an SSR7 "cruise" room today. Nothing short of hell on ice.... the second I pop into the room, I see a glowing blue car completely out of control. I asked the host if he could kick any retarded hacks, but he sarcastically acknowledged my comment and booted me.

My faith in humanity is diminishing by the second, so is my trust in the modding community. It was cool when only a handful could hybrid. Everyone is using obnoxious-HP cars, as well as the idiotic dune buggy hybrids.

... that immediately reminded me of someone talking about the GTA IV trainer's* release. The creator of the trainer said something like this: "When I finally release the trainer, that will be the end of GTA IV multiplayer." This fits GT5 perfectly, because with all of these hacks, the game is getting out of control.

*A trainer is a program for GTA IV that allows users to do almost anything. This includes teleporting themselves and other players, enabling god mode, spawning vehicles, changing vehicle color, instant acceleration to top speed, unlimited ammo, placing down objects like ramps, shipping containers, etc...

Initially, it was hilarious seeing a 3,000 HP Civic pull 500 MPH down Route X. Now it's just annoying. I wouldn't exactly put the blame on the people that made it, I blame the morons on youtube that post the tutorials to raise their channel views.

Apparently, someone, or a handful of people, thought "Hey, I've got a 3,000 BHP Civic pulling 500+ MPH on SSRX! Maybe I can create a NEW Youtube channel and upload how to get a 3,000 BHP Civic like me! Then I'll be famous!" Little do they know that they got banned from GT5 online service 1 month later. Personally, I don't mind 1 or 2 people using hybrids in lobbies (as long as they don't plow through others), but when there are 10+ hybrids ruining the fun experience that used to be GT5, things are going to hit the fan.

You should say you hate the unrealistic hybrids instead of hybrids in general.

I know, right? I once made a Corvette ZR1 with 900HP capable of 250mph as a tribute to the Callaway Sledgehammer. I spent the good part of half an hour just trying to get that extra 10mph to break 250. And when I went on Route X and someone broke the sound barrier going past me, I was disheartened when, instead of struggling to get those extra few mph's to reach 250, I could've just hacked my savegame and 5 minutes later given a Schwimmwagen 10,000,000hp to go four times as fast.

Still, I guess I am just going to have to accept this reality. Or ask Adam Savage to substitute his own...

^ I have made a replica of C4 ZR1 Slegdehammer back in 2.11 days, exact color, weight, HP and similar torque, even top speed Send me FR if you want it.
I made a lot of replicas via hybrids, never really cared for others stupidity making gazillion HP cars going at over the speed of sound. I don't use any app, just an old school code editing and a lot of research.

I've recently gave hybriding a try, but I don't like it. It was tedious making one to me. Advice; don't put the drivetrain of a Nissan 370Z on a Nissan S14 Silvia or put GT-R suspension on it.

I'm going to stick with normal tunes.

@ Firehound : Too bad, your loss I don't know what causes your resentment towards cars tuned/made via hybrid, for me the result is what matters. A realistic one - replica of a real car is never bad, it's great - IMO.

I have many friends who oppose hybrids, but now own and drive them with joy ( realistic ones ) , Cargorat is one of them. There's no other way to tune and drive some of the replica I made without using hybrid method. Some who hated once driven my creations, simply wanted more. A turbo 512BB with around 400HP is already a bliss to some, and not even talking Top Secret R34 Fusion RR or JUN Auto Super GTR R34 or vintage like 250+HP Turbo Alfa Giulia 1600 Sprint GTA.
