An "Amerifag" listens to rap? I'm highly offended because that's what I listen to.

Can't put too much effort into being offended by that "Amerifag" crap...understand rap @ its core is derived from africanized musical roots, and a large part of the world has been quite comfortable for a long time in dehumanizing africans and african-descended peoples. Rap has diversified to many different forms, many of which are indeed crap; but to categorize one its listeners by a derogatory term as such...ugh..happens far too often online...if it wasn't such a security risk id be fan of web "caller id" where real name, address and phone# were accessible on the profile at all times...would make a much politer online experience overall I think..lol

My red R8 race car was just put into a wall by a Veyron.. when that didnt take it out (merely sideswiped the wall.. just slowed the car down didnt spin it..) the guy went ahead and spun the FGT directly ahead of me into my face like a crook tossing marbles in front of a running police officer.. i missed the FGT but he was taken from the race.. i almost caught back up to the veyron too, then i called him out in the lobby, the oblivious host somehow missed the entire event.

The traffic lounges are fun when you feel like taking a bahn burner for a spin.. i love downshifting from top gear and hammering the gas around the one slow prius thats holding up a line of cars

I know that I'm the minority, but I quite like the traffic lounges. I particularly like taking an inconspicuous car like a Volkswagen Jetta and having a cop chase me. It's always fun outrunning and out maneuvering the cops in a car with several hundred less horespower. :) It's also cool to be a bandit in a Camaro and slide through every corner. Try it, it's actually pretty fun. 👍

I also agree. I can be fun to just drive a car like it was really life.

I know what you mean.. i totally support you on that.. i also find it fun to take a flashy car for an easy cruise then having the "cops" tail it for god knows how long waiting for it to crack the speed limit by 2 over.. hahaha

Love it :D I just get behind one, say "Watch this!", downshift and blast past him, I feel like such a rebel ;)

Hi I have recently been threatened on GT5. The guy is called MadBullBunny (PSN). In a room I was driving and I was moving faster than him so he immediately pulled in front of me so I could hit him. Then he started cursing me out! I got mad and kicked him then he sent me a message saying: YOu piece of bull ****. You kicked me out of the room purposely. You hit me so you had a reason to. I'm gonna mention your name as a bad host in GT5 on GTPlanet. This is not word for word but a little summary of it. I would not trust this guy. Some of the people in the room said he likes to cause trouble just so he can say that you are bad and never to have anything to do with you. I was really ticked off about this. I just don't want anybody else to have the same problem.

So you are doing what he threatened to do to you? How did he pull in front of you if you were so much faster than him, and if he was in front of you, why did you hit him? Maybe there are two sides to this story?

The worst I have ever had was in a 20 lap race of Monaco. I lead from lap 4 upto lap 20 when I was hit by someone going the wrong way at Rascasse :(

On the flip side I did once leave no room for someone on the straight at Monza. He still tried to pass me on the right so I stuck to my line and let him drive head first into the pit entrance, good times :)

Ok well apparently you don't understand yes am I doing what he/she is doing to me because I don't want people to not have the same problem with him/her. I was a little distance back so he/she could have planned it out in no time. He/she was in front of me because he/she just randomly jerked in front of me when I was traveling at a speed well over 200 mph on the track so I could not avoid him/her. So after I kicked him/her and he/she sent me a private message which I mentioned earlier.

Well I'm not good with ABS, and TCS, and SFR (if you have no idea what they do... leave'em stock) but I try to race clean. I got some good clean fun from a "Nurburgring 24hr Free" lobby I started. Really just started it to test my new TVR RM but ended up in a friendly night/rain/uber-realistic settings race with a Super GT NSX tuned in my GT by Citerion RM. (I think I spell Citerion wrong :/)

I had some incidents not worse that you 're describing here but certainly bad enough.

1. In the "Ring" 1: I was fourth in a close game in 550pp cars. The first was way ahead but 2-3 place was plausible. I took the last corner before the final straight, two cars ahead of me, drafting to catch up. About in the middle of the distance the third took an overtaking position and i did too, since i was way faster than both of them. While three cars were along the road and i was in 2 place, just before putting them behind me the car next to me pushes my car's rear causing me to spin 3 times. I was too furious i forgot to save the replay giving them the benefit of doubt.
2. In the "Ring" 2: About 12 drvers were driving in a pretty clean race. I was in 8 place mostly because i couldn't overtake the 7th safely. Just before the carousel corner the other drivers start making mistakes, he and me rose to 3 and 4 place. Suprisingly enough we caught up with the second who, for no reason crashed on his own
on the final straight. He later said we were cheaters and he let us take his place, because we wanted it so much(!). I watched the replay, and the funny thing is that noone touched him, he took 3 bad turns before the long straight, and crushed on his own.
3. 20 minutes later(!): I finally took the pole position and won without even challenged.
There was a dumb kid who wanted me out because he said i bumbed him from behind while I was in first place from start to finish(the host was beside me). Funny thing is all the other racers wanted him out!

Getting passed in a corner on the inside and getting pushing into the wall... in almost every race I enter.

Makes me want to quit.

Daytona, with a bunch of guys with mics. Just because I don't use one doesn't mean that I can't hear you. After gaining first place cleanly I hear the call to "Get that guy!" The endless series of Pit manoeuvers begins, but I manage to resist. One guy Pit'd himself trying to spin me, then accused me of cheating. Scuse me?

Just now, joined a lobby titled "70MPH + Cops!". I thought "Ok, it's a traffic lounge". So I bring out my Toyota CALDINA GT-FOUR (the Soccer-Mom van). And suddenly the host changes it to Liege (Gravel). I still decided to use my CALDINA, while everyone was runnin Rally Cars (very traffic-ish, no?) trucks, and Subies. The host started the race, and soon a demo derby ensued. I kept getting rammed into the walls by this one prick in an Evo Super Rally Car, so I spun him out in retaliation. Coming onto the final straight to the finish line he had a 1 second lead. I caught his draft and sped by him at 160 MPH. To piss him off even more, I tooted my horn 3 times. He tried to ram me but he took himself out! I was laughing all the way to the bank. Not so funny when a people-carrier toasts your rally-prepped ricer, is it? I wrote "Too bad you lost, idiot." and left. May not have been the wisest decision, but it was necessary.

I was in a Clean Kart lobby, and some guy joins (forgot his PSN) and we race. He kept yelling "f--k!!!" because he kept spinning out when he was just turning too much. After the race I realize he has porno in the background and heard a bit of tapping... I then proceeded to tell him that I heard his video and he went "OH SH--!!!" and left the room. Words could not express how much laughter was in the room after that.

Ah yes... wang is not sequential shifter.

I think a few of my outings today qualify me someone's worst they met online. Had a handful of races at the Nordschleife where I made some really, really, really ill-advised passes that ended very, very, very poorly for both myself and the car being passed. On the plus side, my failures were spectacular.

Today i joined a room called "clean racers" or something like that.
It was a 4 lap race on Clubman stage 5 and i was driving the Super GT Petronas Lexus. I was in first all the way until the second to last corner. A guy from Britain, driving in the Zonda LM did catch me up fast after i made a mistake. He tried to take the innside and i dived to the inside to block.
He crashed into me and hit the wall. Mechanical damge was on and my car wasn't damage. So i drived to the finish line, hearing him swear and call me stuff like bas**rd and ****er. Afterwards i sent him a message that it was an accident. Then i heard him say "so you crash people out in the last corner and say sorry to the afterward." I was pissed off so i reported him right before i left the room.
Who's foult do you guys think it where?
Did i do the right thing?

Ps I forgot to save the replay.

It'd all depend on how close he was when you moved to block, If he was right beside you, your fault, if he was a few car lengths behind, his fault.

- Zonda LM did catch me up fast
- after i made a mistake.
- He tried to take the innside
- i dived to the inside to block.
- He crashed into me and hit the wall.

Granted, I can't see the replay, and maybe if I did I would feel differently, but just from what you wrote, I think it's pretty clear and I'm surprised that you even ask. It actually amazes me, knowing full well, that even in the best lobbies there is always a small amount of lag to deal with when you're racing up close and yet people feel the need to 'block'. If you blocked him to the point that he crashed into you and then the wall, I would say, yes, it's obvious you bore at least some culpability for this accident, if not most of it.

(As a side note, I probably should not use the 'quote' feature above. While I didn't alter change the wording of what you wrote, it was taken out of context.)

I agree, there is no need and no call for such foul language. But on what grounds did you report him, I wonder? Because he used foul language? Or because you were upset? Frankly, I can understand why HE was upset.

Being booted for no reason.

I joined a JGTC server, as soon as I jump into the pits before the race starts, the host boots me.
I sent him a message asking why but he never replied.

He came fast and when i blocked him he was 2-3 car lengths behind me.
So according to what you written it's his foult.

He had a mic and it sounded like he was around 25 or something.
I think it was pretty rude of him to call me that and thats why i reported him.

Worse I've dealt with online? Well, Nurburging race, one lap, this american called HSteinmann wins, which was fair enough. But then he goes on to say 'take that, you fking commys' and that we were 'stinky ba stards'…He then proceeds to try and ram me off the track for say, 'don't be racist, now, you should be grown up enough to know your place in the world'……honestly, I don't know what stinks more, the fact that I can't kick him, or his mouth…

I always thought "You've been disconnected from the server" meant some sort of network error, because once it said "You've been kicked from the room."

So that's why it always cuts out when I'm out in front...

I had a great night in a Clean Race room, fantastic people with mics giving tips and discussing cars, until this Spanish guy joins. We were in a 600pp race on Cape Ring Periphery, and I was in third for most of the 1st lap in my G37. I dropped behind the Spanish guy in his Lambo SV as we came onto the big helix, where he randomly spins out for no reason. Damage and penalties were on so my car was pretty much totalled, and I got a 10 second penalty for it. So I quit the race and sat in the lobby, and I typed a comment saying "nice going, kid in a Lambo just wrecked me." so he quits the race too and starts spectating, suddenly I get a PM from him in poor english calling me a noob and a fag for smashing his car, as well as plenty more curse words. The host posted a comment telling him to be careful as it's a clean lobby, so the kid plugs in his mic and starts screaming curses at everyone, and gets kicked. I have nothing against foreign kids when they DON'T ruin a lobby like that.

I have nothing against foreign kids...

:odd: foreign kids, huh? I know this just an expression but it should stop. There are no true nationalistic boundaries in cyberspace. We're all just 'folk' out there. Good, bad or otherwise.
