If the GTP rules allowed you to post names, I could have gladly gone and trolled them. Sadly, however, they don't allow names to be posted.

good thing I thought twice about that, I was going to too, lol

Am I missing something here?
Maybe because the intent of dirty rooms is often wrong. When I think of dirty racing, I think of calculated attempts to gain advantage by well-timed and executed PITs and sideswipes. Everyone else thinks of it as "PUNTFEST WHEEEEE!"

I couldn't sleep so I went for a little quick burst online, ...I hate to say it but I saw a GTP member being a total prat in one of the races I was in, he seemed to think everyones rear bumper was a braking zone, completely abused the power limiter and caused three pile-ups in a single 3 lap race at Spa. He was racing in a tuned BMW M3 GTR, i was using an Opera S2000 he couldn't handle the fact that a car with alot less horsepower was outbraking him around the outside on multiple occasions and leaving him for dead in the corners so he resorted to PITS, brake testing and ramming, still beat the idiot, he then proceeded to make death threat via microphone and was promptly kicked from the room.

I notice some guys having a dig at us Aussies & other nationalities... It's no secret that there is an enormous number of people on PSN & there's no possible way that any one person has enough time to play enough hours that they can say with any certainty that any one nationality is worse than another.

It's just not possible & would take an army of statisticians too long to even consider getting an accurate result.

There are absolute losers in all nationalities but no one can say which nation is the worst.

And as for Aussies? our population is made up of a huge immigrant population so that argument falls flat on its face. There's probably more Indians, Brits, Sudanese, Afghans, Italians, Lebanese, Turks and others in this country than there are white multi generational Aussies, every one of those players I've met are awesome... it's the young ethnic males that ruin it, rolling around in their "fully sick" wheels with no clue on how to race or even stay on the road.

Think of that before bagging us Aussies because the chances are the Aussies you met came here from your country or one nearby!!!

True . . . I remember hearing once that Australia is rated 2nd for percentage of the population born outside of the nation . . . can't be bothered hunting for a link, so you'll just have to believe me

I myself am from o/s originally, well the distant and foreign land of New Zealand. But regardless, Heathenpride makes a good point.

I've never met any bad Australians. I've gotten some of the best racing experiences with them. You guys down there are awesome. 👍 I wonder where these "idiots" are. :boggled:

I was hosting a track day on Nurburgring yesterday. Someone jumped in a Dodge RAM. 'Nuff said. :grumpy:

I'm convinced, much of the dodgy driving behavior levied at Australians can be put down to lag and time delay.

Potty-mouth, now that's another story.

That is so true, I'm not sure if the rest of the world knows this but we have really bad Internet, so bad the government have launched a "national broadband plan" to try fix it.

This is also true, we are terrible with swearing, If there was a swearing Olympics we would dominate every time

To be honest, There's no actual nationality that have bad drivers in my opinion. I've seen good & bad drivers from almost every country. I have recently prefered racing on Rally courses. People don't ram you, or have a reason to complain if they lose for a few reasons:
-No place to cut corners.
-Amost all cars are around the same PP,nobody's overpowered.
-If you try to hit someone, 9/10 you'll be the one losing control & hitting the sides.
-Very good racers on these tracks(8-year olds won't race here because they can't use there precious X1) so it all comes down to serious racers:sly:

Only complaint I can see anyone having is the occasional Escudo fanatic who refuses to switch, but that's a matter of restrictions.👍

 I love to put on 578PP for my AWESOME Cizeta. It also makes 8 year olds complain about their X1. So i say "Pick something thats 578PP or lower." We duke it out. My Cizeta Slaughterhouse Vs. You guessed it a detuned Mustang GT 05. He lost by a minute, and then You guessed again. *RAGEQUIT*

People who come into my/my friends room with a PP limit clearly stated in the name of the room, ask to change it to something else and then get all butt hurt when we tell him no.

Example: 500pp No RC/RM

88StupidMikelessGuy88: change to 540 please

Myself/Host/other friends: No dude. It's clearly stated in the name of the room

88StupidMikelessGuy88: WTH 500pp is so gay. I don't even have a 500pp car cuz its useless. 500pp is stupid, your stupid, I'm awesome

Myself/Host/other friends:Good Bye...(selects "reject player")

88StupidMikelessGuy88 has left the room

+1 !! These people are by far the worst!

When I was racing online in a clean shuffle room today, the room was full, the host started the race, but only 3-4 people were on the track. this struck me as kinda weird but nothing too much to think about. I go about 3 races, all of them with 3-4 people, until someone tells me im not racing clean, mind you the person who told me wasnt even in the last three races I raced but was in the room. I was sure that I didnt hit anybody. Thats when I asked how many people were in the last race and someone replied "14".. 14!!? i had 4.. and it showed someone else as the winner on my screen but the chat was congratulating another person for the win. I rejoined the room and everything went back to normal.

But I wonder how I appeared on their screen.. maybe taking everybody out? Its the first time this has happened and it was kinda embarrassing :(

This happens to me quite often actually. I can usually spot it when I see that there are a lot of people in the room but only a few people appear to be on the track. Another way to spot it is at the start of a race there will be a lot of gaps in the grid. If I notice either of these I just leave and come back.

Just got kicked for having "GTP_" in my name...

I had this happen before, the reason was said to be that GTP is a gang of drivers who do anything to win. After I was booted I sent a message stating that GTP is just a website and there are a very high number of GTP_ racers. They then told me there were 2 in their room earlier in the day ramming and cutting corners. This was within a week of GT5's release.

Since then I race with this group almost daily and have added about 8 GTP_ ers to many of their friends list's.
