 There you go little boy, doesn't that feel better? Sounds like you need a chill pill. No need for temper tantrums now, would you like a tissue for your tears little child?

That's uncalled for, and looks a bit immature.

<more rant about how boring Nascar is>

Well, if Nascar racing is so boring, why did you join the room in the first place?

So it appears evident that my knowledge on the American's idea of motor racing is rather limited, but braking to get the point across to someone that you're being a pain in the back side is not a reason to kick them from the room in my humble (yet probably unwanted) opinion. Instead one could have said something like "Excuse me Sir, but I must warn you that 'brake testing' other racers is not acceptable in the motorsport of NASCAR Racing, please refrain from performing such rash actions" then I could have agreed, accepted the fact that what I done wasn't legal or within the rules and guidelines and we could have all gotten on with the race like gentlemen.

In every clean racing room I joined throughout the last year. 'brake checking' is considered dirty and will get one kicked immediately.
Anywho, how does brake checking combine with gentlemanly racing?

Either way, why is this maneuver you call "bump drafting" cool? and in what way does that make sense? It's bloody annoying, I dealt with it in a way I felt was right to prevent him from continuing to be a pain in the shirt, if you can't overtake and do the job in a clean fashion then why would you sit behind someone bumping them? That is really a rather unusual trait to find in any form of motorsport.

Its not about overtaking, the person behind was being kind and giving you a push, 2 cars are faster than one, in NASCAR at Daytona you can go about 2 seconds a lap quicker with a good bump draft partner than a car on its own.

Thanks kilttraeger for taking care of my light work, lol. Couldn't have said it better myself. Some people just don't get it I guess, therefor they have to start flaming in order to make themselves look good.

Maybe they would've gotten it if Jeff Gordon had taught them NASCAR etiquette instead of how to not hit cones :sly:

Yea, I guess Gordon could have taught them better, lol. I'm going to make a joke here involving my favorite NASCAR driver and if you follow NASCAR, you should get the joke here. Sounds like he has been getting advice from Kyle Bush, lmao. (KB is my favorite driver but after what he did in the truck race, the kid is quickly losing my respect. I thought he was actually starting to mature, but I guess not. Very disappointed in him)

I saw it on youtube, his move was like something from GT5 online, his truck wasn't even damaged and Hornadays was, that should be punishment enough for a racing incident but you could see that he had the red mist, a lot of bad driving in the trucks recently, last week it was Todd Bodine being an idiot.

I know it's off topic but KB's driving is a prime example of why NASCAR has little to no credibility outside of it's core group of fans.

It's a shame that NASCAR puts "celebrity" and revenue above safety and fairness, KB should be banned and his sponsors should tell him precisely where to stick his "attitude". Taken out of the car for the rest of the weekend? He should be taken out of the car for at least the rest of the season.

In my humble opinion he should have been gone from the sport earlier in the year after his blatent, premeditated retaliation on Elliot Sandlet at Bristol (which is without doubt the single most cynical and childish thing I have ever seen on a racetrack).

Your reply, Heath_1?

Alright, I have to stop you right there. Even tho I don't condone what Kyle has done, it in no way warrents his banning from NASCAR. He is not the first person to go through this type of thing. (Kevin Harvick and Robby Gordon both had similar situations) I think the punishment Kyle got from NASCAR is enough. Yes, he needs to learn from this and I hope he does. If he doesn't learn and continues on these tantrums, then sadly, I would say he must go. I think the appropriate steps have been taken thus far. Look, no one was calling for Brad Kesolowski or Carl Edwards to be banned for their tantums that were much dangerous at much faster tracks. I would say tho, yes this is it for him, one last chance to prove he can learn and grow up. As far as your statement about NASCAR and safety, you are totally out of line there bro.

I've just watched the video of it and I think he does deserve a ban from all motorsports. Those cars are not toys and the recent loss of 2 drivers shows that motorsport is dangerous enough without crazy people deliberately ramming someone into a wall.

So, if you have your way, only about half the drivers would be racing because, like I said before, he is not the first person to retaliate. Although it was dangerous, I've seen lot more dangerous acts. Not everyone can be like gentleman Jimmie Johnson. And even he has had his moments.

Why does everyone assume that NASCAR gets all the rubbing fun. There's quite a bit of bumping and rubbing in most forms of touring cars, especially our V8 supercars. It's not race ending contact, just light rubbing and chattering on the rear bumpers. It's great to watch, and its exactly how I drive online (if I send you off, I won't pass you until you get back to racing speed). I'm sick of people who can't take a friendly touch up.

I'm with you on that one. I just wish people knew the difference between a friendly tap and an intentional sending you off the track so they can win the race.

Wait, why are we discussing NASCAR in this thread? Last I checked, this was for online racing, not real life.

Joined a Top Gear Test Track free run room. Some guy in a RAM... ramming people of course. Eventually, I become the host and kick that guy out. Was very peaceful without him. Everyone in the room was shifting from drag racing to actually going around the track and he started blocked the road on Gambon. He rammed everyone, he spared none. What gives people the urge to start ramming? He was fine at first.

Also, stay on topic guys.

Was 2nd in a Nascar race, made the mistake of taking the high side of the corner, then 3rd place done a PIT on me.. so I ended up 7th (there were 14 racers including myself) and thought hey thats fine.. 7th isn't too bad I can deal with that, clearly that person can't take a position fairly.. so there I am doing my own thing racing nice n' clean minding my own business when another person caught up with me.. and he sat there behind me for 2 or 3 laps, trying to overtake me but my car must have just been faster than his because everytime he exited the slip stream he'd lose speed and tuck in behind me.

Eventually he just started tailing me sitting real close, tapping at my back bumper. So I brake tested him.. oh didn't all hell break loose then.
This was a 42 lapper and by this time it was around lap 10 I think. He left the race but cried to his friends that I brake tested him, so then one of his mates decides to be a child and do the same thing back to me.. I thought okay thats cool, I'm not going to finish in the top 5 or so anyway so carry on. A few other people left and I ended up 8th of 10 racers by around lap 25 when eventually they finished being children and kicked me.

Thats pretty immature for brake checking.

@KB18 and lee - I will reply in the NASCAR forum and quote all comments (from mine onwards) over there for context. 👍

Bobert,
"El taco internete" got owned in a dirty racing server today

DISCLAIMER: El Taco Internete is NOT a PSN. It's a nickname of a person that only me and Bobert know from online.

Was fighting for the lead at Daytona on the final lap in an X1 only race and I made my move too soon on the backstreatch. I ended up in the grass and finished 3rd. I did not lift on the throttle though through the incident

Probably for the same reason that when I go into the Kaz tweet thread and everybody's discussing and bickering over stuff thats not even related to the title of the thread. I've complained about it and no one wants to do anything about it so screw it. And to the poster that wants to go and discuss the KB thing, no thanks. I've already said all I wanted to say and I don't feel like listening to all you little KB haters and your imature flaming of the guy.

I join this room, And I hear this 9-year-old over his headset say,"Oh my god dude, kick Psychotic." How the hell is that even right? Are the ignorant childen of CoD migrating to GT5? I was kicked before my entrance quote even appeared.

New CoD is released this month I think so it won't be long until they are gone again :D

...is when you try to organize a championship, then on Rd.1 you have nothing but lag and connection issues!

Sadly, GT servers are the worst I dealt online.

God I hope they don't move to saints row 3, I'd rather deal with empty rooms, than a bunch of kids who act like retarded gangbangers.

I can only hope... they don't always leave because there parents might finally get the common sense to not spoil them with everything they ask for, then they'll take out there anger by doing what they always do...ramming people. Only now they won't be using rams and veyrons, that's too primitive! Thanks to the event, we get rammed w/ X1s, how delightful! :D

Were they Canadian? Not to be single you guys out, but 13 and below aged Canadians have a hatred for Americans. :odd: Most of 'em.

I got kick out of a Car Show room because I had no mic. And I heard the dweeb who was running it was saying, *Saying it in a girly whiny way* OMG Crash_Dude has no mic, Wtf Ugh" and he kicks me.
