Worst you've dealt with online...

I've only tried one random online race at Spa so far, but it became immediately clear that Les Combes and the chicane are going to be places exactly like the final section of Nordschleife where people are going to show the worst side of themselves. :dunce:

The chicane at the end is the worst yeah. Hope they make an invisible wall there sometime soon. Had a nice race yesterday. Was fighting with one other for the win. My car was faster on the straights and his in the corners. After 5 rounds of clean racing I overtake him at the last straight before the chicane. He cuts the chicane completely and wins.

Putting penalties on realy works on Francorchamps. Had someone trying to cut the last chicane too a few days back. He ghosted, I passed him again way before the finish. Either way, for me it's not that important. If someone takes the win cutting the last chicane, you know he hasn't won but you did, even if the scoreboard says differently.

Yeah that's true. I know I would have won but it's still annoying. That's why I only create my own rooms so I can just kick everyone who does that stuff. Downside is that I can't join the practice rounds because I need to keep kicking everone who thinks LM racers, SuperGT and DTM cars are roadcars :D

Penalties were on. He just had the momentum of going in full speed.

I hate it when lapped cars keep on the racing line or actually in the lead battles (e.g NASCAR races at Daytona).

Had this happen during a kart race on Kart Space II. This dude was on the line and I was in the lead about to lap him, I had already given warning I was beginning to lap people but as I approached, he didnt budge. He looked as though he was going to run wide into a corner so I dived at it to keep second place behind me, he turns in at the last minute and I spin... Wasnt too happy...

When you see somebody moving over on you like that its probably best to turn into their car so they spin and you don't (Only if its their fault though).

Yeah I lost a lot of races on Kart space thanks to lapped cars. Probably also won a few thanks to them spinning others. I don't like the option where lapped cars become ghosts though.

I joined a room the other day and immediately the owner said "No white cu*** welcome" and kicked me out.

I'm not even white.

I joined a UK room & as soon as they saw I'm from South Africa, the host & his buddies started going on about chimps. I was busy typing a reply & they said I'm probably typing in chimp. (Clearly referring to black people.) I then rather decided not to sink to their yobbo level & just left.

The irony of the whole thing is that I'm white (as if that matters), probably more educated than them by the sound of it & DEFINITELY more literate than them.

Pity that people have to be such jerks online.

Well, I would have reacted had I had seen him, but he was on the outside of a corner and I couldnt see or hear him....

Yea, I dont like the whole ghosting thing, I just hate how people dont move out of the way of lapped cars too. The room Im normally in we have penalties on so the lapped cars go ghost and dont become a problem but the penalties at Kart Space suck. You so much as look at the other side of the white stripe and you get a penalty.

I should wait a couple of weeks before I play Spa in an open lobby again. So the track isn't new anymore and all the dirty drivers are gone:( This time I got cheated out of a second place by someone who pushed me out of the chicane so I got the penalty. So much for my one last relaxing race before my exam:P

So I am drifting at Tsukuba, well actually I was driving slowly along the straight before the last corner as I was distracted from the game for a few seconds.. so I am just crawling along slowly on the right hand side of the circuit out of everyones way, when all of a sudden BAM from behind this idiot in a GT Academy GTR whacks me up the rear end.. then tells me to check my rear view mirror.. I said you had plenty of room on the right side of the track to overtake, there was no need for that.

Honestly I really think something needs to be put in place. Something strict like you need to apply for a license before you go online. Also there needs to be an upgraded reporting system where if a user gets more than 2 reports from either the same person or two different people they are automatically banned from the Online Lobby for a month. That way idiotic morons will learn how to behave like the adults they should be and not silly little immature children who want to do nothing more than annoy people trying to show off they're skills (or lack there-of) and ramming people in the process because they're brainless morons.

How hard can this be? Really.. just learn some manners, do the right thing.. use your damn eyes for crying out loud look.. theres so much room to overtake.. why must you feel the need to crash into people? And by the way why drift in a car thats all wheel drive? Goodness me just.. some idiots need to go out and find a place where they can perhaps purchase one of these gooey, slimey things pictured below.

I hate this so much. Especially on Nurburgring. I get bumped, rammed, and whatever when a faster car is passing. I always have to place 2 wheels in the grass and slow to at most 30 miles per hour just for some idiot to make a clean pass. :grumpy:

I'm not sure why he chose a GT-R... maybe thinking he goes faster through corners and thinks he looks better then the other drifters? In which they are probably thinking "idiot."

Can someone from germany please tell me if ''sieg'' can mean anything other than in the Hitler sense? Someone has it as his victory message and if it's racist I want to kick him.

Edit: not needed anymore. Google traslates it as victory:P

Was just in a 450pp room on Spa I used my Mazda Miata '07 and a lot of people were using Lotus Elises, I find this annoying and unfair, since they must have abused the power limiter. Needless to say those guys all placed up high, and they obviously couldn't drive because the winner kept ramming me at every corner(while I was leading) and this got very frustrating(to add insult to injury) and then somebody in a BMW M3 GTR spins me on purpose(he got in beside me and just turned). I've seen cleaner truck stop bathrooms and more fair carnival games, crappy race.

That, is exactly why I don't join those PP rooms. :) Terrible experience though, I've had that kind of thing happen to me once. Gotta hate it to the core.

Not all of them are bad, but 70% of the PP rooms I've raced in are just like I described above. What would you recommend I do? I can't ever find a decent room running street tires on street cars, and when I do, 70% of the time(give or take) they're unfair and dirty rooms, which aren't fun or competitive at all. I don't really have time to dedicate myself to a GTP series..

All PP rooms I've joined end in catastrophe. Besides that, I have almost no idea what you could do. You could find some clean friends who are on regularly or make your own room and see how that works.

Not that big of a deal, all the other races I did this past weekend were fun, clean, and fair!

Emphasis on the bolded part.

I run, and I know half a dozen people who run, clean PP rooms at least once a week.

Look harder, they are out there. 👍

Yeah I usually stick to those I know instead of those I don't.. but you when none of your mates are online and you just go into random rooms. It happens.. and there is tool boxes out there that will cause trouble.
