+1 I dont use aids myself (I like more of a challenge), but when the host disables aids the races arent even close. The only aid I absolutely hate people using is Skid Recovery Force so I always disable it. I'm also a fan of weak boost because it makes races closer.

420PP Lupo GTI Cup Cars, 4 laps Eiger Nordwand short track, top 10 within 3 seconds. top 3 within 0.8 of a second.
No aids....No boost....

Did you read the last few posts? I said that the "races aren't even close" when the host turns off the aids.
Then someone said that they had close races with everyone having no aids and that what I said was that "races with no aids are never close."
Then I said "I didn't say once that the races arent ever close.
The you went off about onces and followings and stuff...

The way you had typed it made it seem as though aids=close racing, no aids=no close racing. You had implied that the racing was never close without aids. If you had used an "often" infront of "arent even close", we would have saved ourselves alot of confusion now, wouldnt we?
My rambling abouts once's and following and stuff was a counter argument to a post I read wrong, thus I retracted it.

Yes, but the way you gave just one specific example of a close race made it seem as though I said it would be impossible for that to ever happen once, you know like time travel or a bad Gran Turismo game. Anyway, discussion over, as this was just a miscommunication. Since we have both pointed out what the other has done wrong there is no point in continuing this argument any further.

Back on topic, was racing against a few mates the other day, this dude was in the HKS CT230R and I was in an Audi RS6 avant, me having more torque, would obliterate him on the straight, but every time I got near him, he'd push me into the wall. This kept happening for 4 laps around rome, then afterwards, I pulled him up on it and he said I was the one ramming him. Someone else from the room stepped in and backed my side and told him to race clean. It seems alot of rammers/dirty drivers, are quite young. He was 14...

You are so right. Of all races I did online and wasn't started by me, only one allowed TCS. I have tried many times asking for TCS, but I was labeled a noob and got kicked out.

That exact thing has happened to me! (Somewhat) Accept I was the one who said "it happens" and the other guy was the one who spun me out. I booted him for he had spun others out too. This happened a good 5-6 months ago.

I totally disagree. All I play is no aids and it's some of the best and cleanest racing. It's just so hard to find a good host.
It's a simulator, why make it like an arcade game by turning on aids. Just my opinion.

That. It's why a majority of racing series have such restrictions here. If you wanna drive in no aids lobbies when you're mainly an aids user, then a) learn how to drive without or b) find something 4WD to use.

It's better then being a faster car and overtaking a slower one. Nurburgring free runs are aggravating when it comes to various cars in HP or PP. If they're faster, what you said happens, if you're faster, then they don't move out of the way or when passing they bump you and you end up off the tarmac.

Dirty Shuffle. Such a fun way to race but there was this one guy that every race would drive the circuit in reverse.
I love bumping and ramming for position in these races which, I believe, is the idea but honestly, driving in the wrong direction isn't dirty, it's just stupid...

I was online in a Nurburgring lobby, I was using one of my Miatas. The race starts and I'm driving in 3rd position just behind two Evoras, on the hill at the base of Flugplatz(spelling?) I stick to the left and somebody in a Honda Accord decides to pass me, on the left.. I spin out into the grass and he keeps going. I'm told(by guys on mics) that I can't drive(not true at all) and that the Miata is a chick car. I try explaining myself, but GT5's swear filter kept showing just the stars as a text response.. I asked the driver of the Accord why he passed me there and hit me and his reply was "I didn't hit you, go smoke some more". I had the line, but this guy decided to pass me where he shouldn't have, he was literally airborne while passing me. I stuck around for another race and was rammed by the host.. And I spun yet again. I left with my mouth shut, but boy I'm still frustrated. Especially about being called a bad driver.. Ah well

People these days... I was in 2nd place in the last lap of a Ferrari F1 race at Indy and someone decides not to brake at the first corner and rams me full speed into the wall at the end of the straightaway. I finished 5th.
