We used to have cable tv but now austar. we only use nc for internet. It's better now, but it used to go out every time the wind picked up in a storm.

When I lived up Mildura we had neigborhood cable T.V. every three houses up there has pay T.V, now I'm back in Adelaide we went from Telstra to Internode, Its a little bit more expensivee but the customer service beats Telstra in the face with a frozen Shovel!

thanks to the latest updates its highly unlikely that you will get a muscle car without 80% of the room getting muscle car's, that may not be correct but its an observation I've made, also get the SLS, F430, 458, LFA and for those who have it as DLC on the odd chance get the Aventador,

these for the record are NOT fact's, just purely observations I have made from shuffle rooms I have been in,

I just got out of a JDM drag room. Some kid with a RM Integra thought he was the host and told everyone to drive a Honda. Only because i beat him with my RX-8, maybe EIGHT times. Not to brag or anything.

any complaint's about dirty driver's, kick them straight away, sometimes its the bonehead complaining about dirty driver's who is the dirty one, watch them next time around, kick them too if need be,

What... How dare you! There is nothing more frustrating than being constantly taken out while the host does nothing about it. Then when i complain, i'm the one that that get's kicked!? THEY are the ones who should be kicked, not the innocent victim who's been taken out! 👎

Last night i joined a room with 2 others. We had some good close races until a pack of dirty rascals joined, ruining every race at the first corner. I warned the main instigator, "R... Stop ramming me!" He unrepentantly replied "move then dude" I didn't reply as i was shocked. The next race i was rammed again, so i said, "I AM NOT YOUR BRAKES!!" I parked my car out of the way so i could still collect the $ from participating and waited for the race to finish so i could have some dialogue with the host, but i never got the chance because immediately after the race, i was kicked out.

I thought of PMing him, but i thought "What's the point?! He's obviously too stoned to give a s...! So i went to bed in disgust. :grumpy: I got the feeling that the host was more concerned about having 10 people in his room than the sub-standard quality that had resulted from it.

What the hell did i do wrong?? By failinging to act on the perpetrators while punishing the innocent ones, it's hosts like you who are ruining online racing for me. And yes i'm talking about fellow Aussies! I'm a clean driver who constantly gets kicked for no reason other than complaining about getting rammed. :ouch: ,ilii

If I see someone lagging in my room during a race and they are crashing people I will exit the race and kick them.

Same with a dirty driver.

It is the host’s job to maintain order in his room.

Why is this so hard for hosts to understand?! Time and time again i complain about ... ramming me and the host sits on his hands and does nothing. It drives me nuts!

As far as i'm concerned, those hosts are failing in their role as hosts. No wonder i get frustrated enough to type in capital letters, resulting in me getting kicked! It's grossly unfair that i get kicked when i'm innocent. The ones who deliberately ram me, THEY are the ones who should be kicked.

I wouldn't know if i've been to Dave's rooms, but fellow Aussies with similar mentalities have treated me this way, and it's not fun at all. They have a title like fair or kick, but then allow anything except dobbing on a dirty driver. Not Fair at all!! :grumpy:

the key word there is "sometimes" mate, I watch replay's to see if I was to harsh on people, but still I'd rather race one person clean and fair then be worried that I'm going to lose people because I kick them for being dirty,

It is the job of the host to keep the room up to standard, if the room is full of scum then your hosts standards are very low,

as for the rest of you, what is the point in grilling me for being harsh, I'm here to race clean and fair, not supply a room and waste my time racing bonehead's, I haven't got time for it, and if your that worried about my hosting way's, then don't join my room,

People can be so stupid, I was in a dirty NASCAR room and inevitably, most of the people there were french. I did one race, 6th position, afterwards, a guy says "kick driverman" and the host does so, no warning, no reason. Any ideas why?

The french people in those circle's are complete 🤬 they are seriously racist too, sometimes it say's dirty but the host means more a leader takedown race or top 5 take out, some hosts really frown upon wrecking down the back and if you dont work with people to bunch the field back up at the front then they will remove you,
If dirty NASCAR is what your after try joining room's run by
xXskat-catXx
Gragg67
DieselDumptruck
they run some seriously dirty rooms, as the name suggests, and only kick people for going backwards, or serious lag

Don't join lobbies that say "Cops No Stop= Kik" The name says it all

They are stupid rooms, if you want cop's and robber's get NFS most wanted,

as a sometimes host of shuffle races/ PP races at the ring, I hate it when people go, "I need more PP" that's a usual deal with it by me then a kick if I see them typing,

any complaint's about dirty driver's, kick them straight away, sometimes its the bonehead complaining about dirty driver's who is the dirty one, watch them next time around, kick them too if need be,

connection issues, try to keep the maximum number of nationalities to 3 maybe 4, usually you can run more but you will need to see the connection quality of the new people that enter,

If you have a new person enter your room and they immediately say, XXXX has a loading bar an XXXX has been running clean with no connection issues kick the new person straight away,

when a new person enter's your room, before you enter the track make sure they get an appropriate vehicle, if your running a PP based room, if the PP is right the peanut's will always jump in a Toyota 7 or 2J race car, Kick them,

If you do get kicked for connection issues, don't PM the host and abuse them, its not their fault you steal your wi-fi from Mcdonald's, and what your happiness is worth the annoyance of 15 other people, YOUR NOT THE POPE! get over your self,

NEVER, by no means start requesting a track change! it is up to you to find races at the track you desire, you will get kicked,

now if you go into a room and do any of the things Jonnypenso listed or what I have written here, YOU are a PELICAN! and you really do deserve to get kicked,

not all host's are like this but I am, half of you complaining about host's at the green hell are probably complaining about me, however, if you haven't done anything on these lists then you would have only been kicked for connection issues,

also, I'm getting quite a list of names of dirty driver's, rage quitter's, abusive's, and down right peanut's, more then 400 PSN names now, around 90 of which have the GTP gamer tag, eventually my friends of whom do a lot of X-Box online racing and PC gaming are going to get a website going to NAME AND SHAME all of you idiot's, so your attitude may never allow you to run in a designated series again, or get you kicked upon entry to a room,

Just a note on your rage against people with the GTP_ gamer tags. Not all of them are part of the WRS Registry. Anyone can make up and use a tag with the GTP prefix. As a member of the WRS, I can assure you that 99.9% of WRS members are good, clean, courtious drivers. There may be a few bad apples, but that usually gets straightened out pretty quick by an administrator. So please, don't automatically assume that everyone that has a GTP tag is a part of the WRS. The WRS is a great community with some of the best racers here on these forums.

yes I agree, but its the pelican's who create the GTP Tag profile to ride from the credibility of the genuine racer's who gained the reputation of being a clean driver to begin with, its an easy thing to steal,

I have also raced with a bunch of guy's who are clean with the GTP game tag, they are not in the list, my interpretation of what was said was basically you can trust anyone with a GTP gamer tag to be clean and fair, which is not the case,

Today I was in a clean shuffle/normal race room and when we got our cars from the shuffle we started a race on a random Eifel track and I had the Alfa Romeo Brera. In the first corner a few people spun or got understeer and then at another corner me and someone in a Civic Type R 97' had understeer and crashed. Since mechanical damage was on we had to drive to the pits. As we reached the pits he turned into it late and slow while I was going fast and slammed on the brakes but the car didn't stop and I hit him. He still got out of the pits before me and he was angry so he decided to lose his position by deciding to type an angry sentence aimed towards me saying to use my brakes. I then said I did but the brakes didn't do me any good.

BUT THEN the incredibly intelligent people of the room including the host decide to follow with the guy that I "rammed on purpose because I am not good at this game". They start getting all angry while I'm sitting there typing and laughing. I then explained in detail what had happened and they supposedly did not understand what I was saying because it seems that they weren't raised with proper English grammar when they were young.

And before I left I jokingly wrote "You seem to be struggling and angry. Love you too lol." which obviously means that I am a homosexual according to them.

Fin.

Had a hot lap of the Nurburgring ruined by a slow skyline that i caught up to in the S Curves.. I slowed down when i realized i couldnt safely pass him then tried an inside pass that too aggressive in I believe Eschbach and the NSX skipped sideways off the curbing into him.. So i stopped to give him his position back and apologized.. We really need some sort of code when a car is running hard trying to set a lap to tell others to get out of the way, i always give faster cars behind me courtesy, i wish others gave the same respect

yesterday, i was in a lobby on indy road course. It was a drift/drag/trade lobby. The host asked if anyone wanted to race pinks, and no one said yes. So about 5 minutes later he said. "if no one races pinks with me, i will kick you all!" then about 2 minutes later, he said "time for kicking!" and kicked everyone.

Let the kiking begin!

Kik!
Kik!
Kik!

Flash your high beams.

I raced last night in a 400pp-550pp room which had pretty good clean racing. Then it was a race on High Speed Ring, 550pp, and i pulled out my Acura Nsx RM. I had a pretty decent start, but i had a 20-30 km/h too low top speed. ( I'm terrible at guessing top speed with cars.) And i was in 4th and a guy came up behind me he was way faster than me and i moved over. But he tried to overtak me that way, so he turned hard right and crashed. He then, after the race, call me a **** driver. Honestly, i don't consider myself as a **** driver. I'm a fast and agressive driver, and if i at any point spin out or nudge someone by accident, i'll let them past me. And i'm good at giving other drivers room to pass. So why would he call me a **** driver?

The slower driver is supposed to maintain his line and allow the other driver to pass. It probably wasn't your intent, but I bet it looked a lot like a block, and a nasty one at that.

Never move over to let somebody by. It is your responsibility as the lead driver to remain predictable so that the passing driver can pick his spot. Always just hold your line and people will find a way through if they are faster. That is one of the biggest mistakes I see new drivers making. Don't focus on the cars behind you. Pay attention to what is ahead, and always remain predictable.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunaly for the guy who crashed, i am one of those who abuse he "look back" button :guilty:

Dropped into a PP based street car room the other night, full of Americans and right away the host says, "Sorry Johnny, we had a Canadian guy in earlier and he was a real d*ck so you have to go". At least he was polite about it, but I guess some Americans don't realize there are more than 30 million of us up here and we're all different and mostly unrelated:sly: All you can do is shake your head at the total ignorance:dunce: and move on...💡

Yeah, some people are that way. I have no problem with foreigners, I actually welcome them to my rooms. Cause frankly, American drivers aren't all that good to begin with. Just some people race like idiots and give a bad rap for other drivers. And that's what happened in your case. Sorry mate.

specially when you make some of them turn right as well as left  ZING! no harm intended, I also enjoy turning left too
(if anyone is offended by this please PM me and I will change it instead of crying to a moderator, this is intended in good humour)

This is why turn signals would be great to have. The approaching car has the lights to flash to let the car in front know that they want to pass, but the front car has nothing to signal back with. Turn signals would be great to say "I'll stick to the right side of the road, you can pass me on the left".

Worst I've dealt with online are the endless rows of "UK only" rooms. Absolutely pointless, there's no reason for a discrimination like that, not even network speed. My next door neighbour can have more lag than a guy in Hong Kong, the geographic location has next to nothing to do with it. So the only remaining reason must be that the host has some sort of neo-fascistic view of the world... not okay.

(If you're one of those hosts and you don't have that kind of view on the world, please take your time to write a line or two here to explain the reason behnd "UK only" rooms)
