Worst You've Dealt With Online...

What? on 650pp rooms in Monza or redbull ring gt500 Cars always get owned by fxx, cien, mp4 and zz2, why should i Kick a slower car?

So I opened a Trackday lobby 15 minutes ago on Ascari. Two guys join, one with an Insight and another guy.

The other guy demands I switch the course, I tell him that I just started the lobby so I wasn't gonna switch out Ascari, he called me a scrub and left.

What's the point of joining a trackday lobby that's on a track that you don't like?

I just booted the game up and dived into an almost full trackday lobby. Couldn't do anything other than chat, couldn't even leave the room, nor could anyone else. We all had to request to be kicked by the host. Why are the servers having problems when it's not even busy online?

Is your room still open? I'll jump in for an hour if it is.

We're still open, and have 7 in.

So, the best lobbies to join are "pro drift lobbies" countless times if you tap someone in a corner, they cry until you see a kick screen.

"pro drift lobby" my arse haha!

Now real pro drift is using a wheel on best real settings.

I had a bloke in my Silverstone room bragging about how fast his car was. So I told him to run a lap time and see how close it was to my CORE spec ZR1. The first thing I see when I ever spectator mode is that massive track cut through Arena... Bye bye, cheater. GTP Rulebook section 1, article J states that you're a doofus!

I don't have a wheel yet but I do use ch, highest sensitivity and real grip reduction with no aids, closest I'll get. Funny thing is this just happened again so it seems it's spreading, the being a egotistical racer now a days.

I have a wheel and I'm terrible at drifting lol. I just race with it.

I went to an online race, stating that only cars made by GT are allowed (e.g. Racing Kart 100). I used the X2014 Standard, and I got kicked because the host doesn't like that car and the host was unfair, using an X2011 Prototype. I was so mad that I was tempted to block the host on PSN.

Another one dates back to GT5, I was playing online with a friend, on the Ring, while I was using an X2011 Prototype and my friend used the X2010 S. Vettel Version. My friend kept on spinning out and blocking my way, but I later slipped past him and won the race. I made him a deal: if he loses the race, he'll have to give me a car I want. And since he lost, he hasn't given me the car ever since and now GT5 is dead.

Guess my connection isn't reliable enough.

Also, I'm in a room where somehow I'm able to enter the track during the middle of a race.

Silverstone Grand Prix Free Practice Lobby

Me: 700bhp, 970kg C60
Random: 1,1xxbhp, 900kg C60

Me: Runs a clean 1:41:4
Random: Barely in the 1:40s so track shorting begins in a vain effort to top my lap.

"Random has left the room."

I don't put up with cheaters, they can go play Forza. I must say, watching these Randoms try to drive an overpowered racing car is quite some entertainment though.

lol shortcutting the track is probably the stupidest thing you can do in Forza because of the super-sticky magneto-floor :P

In a 350PP lobby on Tokyo Route 246 running my Honda BEAT, and I get kicked for no apparent reason.
I message the host out of curiosity, and he replied "No MR cars allowed". I replied "Well then why didn't you restrict the cars allowed?". He replied "Didnt feel like it". I replied "Seriously? Thanks for kicking me because you were too lazy to restrict the cars.". He replied one last time with "np ;p".
*Sigh* Lazy hosts... Well off to grind Like The Wind some more.

I wanted to play online one day and saw a lobby that had the name "Honda 1/4" and I assumed that meant drag racing on a quarter mile stretch of road. I join only to see Red Bull cars and hyper cars going over 300 MPH on Special Route X...wut.

Opened a lobby dedicated to road cars on sports tyres, as I often do. Random guy joins. For the sake of ease, we'll call him Derrick.

Lobby is on Trial Mountain Reverse. Derrick's in a full tuned Mazda RX500. I'm in a fully tuned Honda Fit. I overtake him. He face-plants a wall. He sets a lap of 1:37-ish, which I beat by 1 second with my Fit RS. I try my RX500 and set a lap over 10 seconds faster than his. He complains about sports tyres, not realising my RX500's time, dropping the hint that I should switch to racing tyres. I ask him why he'd join a room restricted to sports tyres if he doesn't like using anything less than slicks. He fails to answer.

Instead, Derrick accuses me of being scared of the speed. I reply by saying "I could beat you on any tyres either way", because it's a pretty safe bet that if he can't control an RX500 on sports soft, he's not going to be difficult to overtake on the less progressive slicks. He accepts the challenge. Racing softs allowed, both of us in fully tuned RX500s. He leaves the pits first. I leave the pits around 5 seconds after. By the second corner, I've caught him up. On the hairpin, leading onto the top straight, I overtake him, because he misjudges and takes a wide line. He immediately overtakes me back (using N02). He immediately out-brakes himself and crashes on the next corner. I overtake, he doesn't see me again.

At this point Derrick says "change track". I reply, "Nah." He replies "you can only drive one track". Because if one were to only learn ONE track on Gran Turismo, it would most definitely be Trial Mountain Reverse. So I ask, what track are you best on, then? "Brands Hatch". :sly: Perfect. The one track I've set up ALL of my cars on. He also says "change cars" and pulls out a TVR Tuscan Touring Car, noted for being rather easy to drive. I set mine up (for the first time - I had one, but had never driven it) and leave the pits as he is going through the first split (after druids hairpin).

By the time Derrick finishes a timed lap, he manages a 1:22. Around 10 seconds later, I pass the line in 1:18. By druids, I've caught him up, because he understeered off on Paddock Hill (turn 1). Every overtaking attempt is blocked. Refusing to resort to cutting him off in the same way he is cutting me off, I persevere. He understeers off one of the high speed corners, and I overtake. He types "struggling?" into the text chat. I reply with "what with you cutting me off, yes, but I caught you up from half a lap behind." He replies with "you drafted". Because half a lap is drafting distance. So I reply with "ok then. keep up with me. I'll even let ya draft me!" He doesn't keep up.

I return to trail mountain and SS tyre restrictions. Derrick says "boring" to which I reply "sod off, then." He does. Happy days.

Text wedge over. Here's my reaction to beating Derrick.

Cool story. Lol It never gets old to see people eat their own words. He sucks at driving.

Ok. Quick facts

Me: Lotus Evora (SS tyres)
R1: Ford Mustang GT500 (RS tyres) brother's idiot friend.
R2: Corvette C7 (RS tyres)
Track: Matterhorn

Basically, R1 and R2 joined a room I was in, this is when the idiocy started. I recognised the PSN IDs and know they're absolute so and sos in real life so the ego-boosting world of GT? Yeah... No...

I was racing with a guy in his tuned Esprit and it was quite close, then P1 and P2 ram us off the road. Obviously, they crash, so were back behind them into the fast bit. We put pressure on them (Right on the bumper, little taps) and they spin off badly. We're laughing over the headset as we burble off into the next sector of the lap.

Go on for a bit, hear many complaints about P1 and P2, but host is AFK (I swear to god these AFK hosts are the spawn of lucifer himself...) and they're just laughing over the headset. Their ramming means me and Esprit catch up, we do the same up the hill, then through the corners, then push them to the outside of the sweeping bend, then I (as I was behind) kept P2 on the grass until he span. He hit P1.

Again, laughing

Same sorta stuff happens twice more before host comes back and changes to Red Bull Ring. Esprit and me decide to not race and just annoy the Ps.

Race has started, which is bad. First corner, they all crash off. I'm in 3rd. Pitstops arrive, I am lapping P1 and 2. I pull beside P1, he goes to swerve, I brake and he goes off. I pull behind P2, who is braking and push along side for the inside of the turn. He's on the outside, clips the grass and spins. I finish second after 2nd place crashes badly. They finish in the last two slots.

After I get a message saying "I'll cut u in real life mate" so I said "You are literally the least scary thing to happen to me in my entire life simply because I know one thing about you, and this isn't mutual. I know your address, your school , I know where you usually hang out with (brothers and friends) and most of all, I know you don't know who I am.

Your move, (so and so)"
Reply saying prove it.

I sent him all the details I could about him, and I haven't had a reply.

Woohoo I guess

Description of anus-head escapades...

How I love calling the bluff of an egotistical little sod. I have a similar story. Yesterday, I was one of those AFK hosts (I had to cook my dinner, drown me), and one of my friends from the US and A joined. When I got back I'd noticed he'd left, as well as the last couple of points in an argument between him and someone else in the lobby, whom we'll call Basil.

Now, first I ask Basil what happened, to which I received no reply, due him being AFK. He rather agitated me in his AFK state, because he had stopped in the middle of the road, not in pause mode, not on the side of the road, not in the pits. :banghead:
By the time he returns, someone else from the US and A has joined (chap called Commodore, I believe) and is casually driving a 500PP Nova around, minding his own business. Basil, in his 2010 Impreza, returns, and immediately proceeds to start ramming the American off-track. Suddenly I realise the sole reason he's been ramming my friend who left earlier and the new chap from the US and A is because he's an anti-American little boy.

His best lap in this 550BHP Impreza of his (on SS Tyres)was around 1:30 around Brands, which I nearly matched in a stock Diablo GT2 on SH Tyres.

Realising that Basil evidently can't drive, if he can't get a decent lap in a freaking 4WD, I proceed to retrieve a favourite of mine; The monstrous SLR McLaren, with 1,000BHP and weight on its side. First thing I do is catch up to the American chap in the Nova, and follow him around the track until Basil catches up. As Basil catches up, he overtakes me and attempts to ram the American under braking. Anticipating this, the American turns in early. Basil misses and goes into the sand. As he returns on the road, I T-Bone him, sending him straight back into the sand.

The next half an hour was spent repeatedly ramming Basil. He turns around to try and avoid me. I follow, and punt him off again. Told him if he keeps going the wrong way he's getting kicked. He doesn't. Basil gets kicked.

I can't say that my recent online experience was good. It was a struggle already for me to learn how to control my barely drivable NSX on the Nurburgring, but when a moron that's going all over the track and lagging in his R32 Skyline, then it just becomes too much to bare.

I am so sick of:

GUUUYZ VS GUURRLZ lobbies
Race with a real Girl lobbies
'Testing' lobbies
German-only lobbies
Brazilian-only lobbies
Any Lobby with 'No Bull' in the title
Any Lobby referring to drugs or pot in the title
Any lobby using 'street laws'

...and then no one joins your racing lobby when you make one.

I hate online so much, wish the offline in GT6 wasn't such crap.

I think the range of rooms is ok. It identifies the No-Go areas for serious racers.

My only problem linking to it, is the horribly girly girls online. You know the type, the ones who just have to advertise this fact by having their cars painted pink with pink wheels whilst making references to them being girls. What do they expect to happen? Us to love them because they're playing racing games?

Hm...

... Pretty sure is more like this:
