Anyhow, why am I in a race car? Well, I was (trying to) practice for one-of-the if not the most prestigious Le Mans style series on GT6. And it is hard to pass said slow moving cars when they can't hold a line, wreck me on purpose, and sit in the middle of the racing line. So excuse me if I say your driving standards are a joke, maybe you need to face the fact that you can't drive. *rant over*
This was in a free run room at Spa which has some of the most shallow minded people I've ever met.

So why join cruise lobbies just to wreck them in RBX201*s?

I'd refer you to my text wedge on post #1460. I had the same problem with Derrick when we switched to the Tuscans. It was fine him blocking me in the Mazda because he'd spin out on every corner anyway, but in the Tuscan Race Cars which were ridiculously easy to handle, he could block me all he liked, changing his line constantly. Wish I'd simply punted him off-track.

Something that really grinds my gears... So a little about me, I tend to drive cars that aren't too powerful - often favouring the 250-350bhp FF cars as they are really quite nippy! However, a great deal of other people online (or at least the ones that join the same room as me) often go for the cars seldom under 500bhp. This I do not have a problem with, people drive what they want to drive BUT a true anecdote from a time on brands hatch... I, in my humble Toyota Vitz RS pumping out a mighty 294 BHP is flying with grace around the track when I notice a lone arrow stopped upon my race map, I proceed towards him. I catch up in my mighty Vitz to find a fully tuned Mazda RX-7 producing well over double my power. I carry on flying round Brands Hatch to find this RX-7 is one of those 'waiters' that proceed to wait for you and then try to race you (despite the lobby title clearly stating free run). Unsurprisingly, he overtakes. Bothered not knowing that my car is inferior, I carry on. What's this?! The RX-7 again! He's waited for me. Again. So it continues, I trundle round track, he overtakes, waits, overtakes, waits... You get the point.
I struggle to see why this fellow would attempt to race me, a sub 300BHP shoebox with wheels in a car that would clearly trounce mine come rain or snow! And bare in mind this wasn't the first, and sure as hell won't be the last time this happens to me...

Funny incident last night, ironically with a GTP member as the host. (I shan't name him but he should be damn ashamed).
In a mixed pp room, new track Trail Mountain at 450pp. Just retuned my Elise 111R post 1.09 camber, restored body rigidity, fresh oil change, running nicely.
Myself and the host, clearly fastest compared to the rest in the room, several seconds in front of the pack, him in a well tuned MX5. I'm leading first lap, he overtakes me on the long straight through drafting on second lap, so I let him keep pole until third and final lap, where I do the same as him and retake pole on the long straight to head to victory.
A good battle, very close, no collisions, fair race. I congratulate with the obligatory 'gr', no response from host.
Next time around it's 500pp and the host decides to remove MR cars from the allowed drivetrains. I was going to change from the Elise to the 3400S for 500pp (the same car the host was using on the previous track at Spa) and realise I can't so I type 'lol', then 'sad' - presumably as he thought I might use the Elise again.
Clearly the host couldn't handle being beaten and kicks me, no reason beyond he got beat. It was a close and clean race and respect to him for his driving ability, but so, so, sad he has to kick me because he didn't win and couldn't seem to handle the fact that he lost.
I hope he reads this as HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I don't care if I win or lose, half the time I start the race in the top 3 only to get punted off and then having to work my way through back-markers, ending up middle of the pack. No big deal, it's a game.
But to kick someone because you got beat in a close, fair race. Shameful. 👎

I mean I've had many 1000bhp Vipers wait at the 'Ring for me in my 81 Bhp Copen. Personal favourite
Some guy bragging because he beat my original Fiat 500 in his C63. Taunting me for ages until I took out my Rocket, smashed the fastest lap, overtook him and his 4 friends and simply stopped at the fist corner.

Love it when stuff like this happens. I remember once on GT5 beating a Veyron noob with a Suzuki Swift.
It's never a testament to our driving skill, but theirs.
I like it when someone does a respectable time in a car, then starts bragging like an arse about it. So I proceed to take the same car. More often than not, I can beat their time by a good 2 seconds or more. Happy days.

It's crazy that people even have a big ego over what is essentially, a game. I don't know why people see being better at a game than me a genuine life skill
But you're right, a lot of people that do a similar thing are often pretty shoddy so I guess I'll let them have their moment...

My friend and I were messing around in our own free run room at le mans when two Aussies came in with 97T's and proceeded to ram our xbows because they were just sitting on the straight and we had absolutely no time to react, we even apologized too
another instance was at route x about a week ago. I was testing my supra when somebody(another Aussie might I add) proceeds to run me off the road on purpose with his tz3 then tells me to get 🤬

I entered a kart room right before the host turned on SRF for DS3 users and the inevitable happened: the elitists started raging and swearing. Then they quit. After the next race, the host quit as well. Probably because I passed him on the final turn to take 2nd But then I had a great race. It was just me and the new host, 7 laps on Brands Hatch Indy. Neither of us could keep the lead for more than 30 seconds. I ended up winning by .176. I didn't even get kicked!

I'm one of those elitists - whenever someone does a good lap, the first thing I do is look at what assists they're using to satisfy my own ego! I always make sure to poke fun at those who show off their lap if they're running SRF, especially if I can beat said lap!
On another note - new story. I joined a road law lobby, because I couldn't find/join any other free run lobbies. I was running an Evoque. SS tyres, tuned. Host (also acting as police) follows me for 5 laps in an M4, we'll call him Bobby. Because Bobby is on SH tyres, he can't keep up with me in corners because of my tyres and the Evoque's agile set-up. Clearly, he speeds to catch up with me on straights. I decide that him tailgating at less than 1 car length is annoying, so I speed off. "ibpong 1/3 speeding" Trust me, everybody misspells my ID exactly like that. Pointing out that he's also speeding, I proceed to take the piss for 10 minutes (with another dissident joining me) before leaving. If nothing else, I annoyed Bobby. Happy days.

I was just in a room with this guy he will remain nameless he had a civic, a mini cooper, a zonda r all of them had hp rating of -1,923 hp so i confronted him and asked him if they were hacked and like usual they deny so i told him i took pics of his cars hp ratings and 20 seconds later he left the room he was saying something like he has anti-ban or something but its them kind of people that kill the game

I've never really seen you in a room with them but sure I'll give it a shot... Not guaranteeing I'm going to win. All of the regulars in the lobby were fine just some of the random folk were really aggrivating me that night.
Also, would you mind messaging me about who "I really am" please I don't feel that's too much of a good thing. I'd like to be aware of that and maybe I can fix some of it. 👍

I agree, it seems like a null and void challenge to prove something unrelated. Redbull simply stated that there were people blocking him and giving him a hard time. He never said at any point that he's a fantastic driver (though you don't have to be to handle a Shelby on SH tyres), so I don't see the point of the challenge.
