I am not good with all the model codes, what year was 997? I'd go for a 2002-2011 Turbo. it'd be a Carrera if it was 2012 or later

The 997 911 Turbos would be starting 2006 or 2007 I believe.

The 997 was 05-11, with a facelift called the 997.2 in 09. The Turbo and GT3 didn't appear as 997's until 07, however, and the GT2 appeared in 08 but was never facelifted. The Turbo and GT3 continued production into 2013 as 997's until the new Turbo and GT3 were released, despite the 991 Carrera being introduced in 2012. On the other hand the 997 GT2 stopped in 2012 and has yet to be replaced.

Yeah, it's pretty confusing.

Anyway,

Ildd's spot:
Fiat- the only true sports car of the bunch.

Supercars:

Huracan; only if the Porsche were a 997 GT2 I'd have the Porsche.

VW Group Supercars; Supercars made by manufactures that are partnered with VW. They're also supercars I just plain like a lot.

Gallardo definetely. I'm not a fan of the Huracan as it looks like a lazy design choice.

upload_2015-1-7_21-47-46.jpeg

Can someone explain the difference between these two cars? Because I am not seeing it apart from the new lights, rims and engine

Well the Huracan is the Gallardo's replacement. They have stopped producing the Gallardo. The Huracan is supposed to be the baby Aventador, like the Gallardo was the baby Murcielago, but the Huracan is actually faster than an Aventador from some sources.

Which CLK55? W208 or W209? E46's are overrated to me but if it was the E36 I'd take that.

Raptors were originally really awesome when they came out. Now they're extremely common here; driving around town I'll see one about every 5 minutes. They're still amazing trucks but they are getting old, at least to me. Porsche Boxsters are less common around here.

2009 Toyota Corolla(Unintended acceleration)
^ I'd pick the Reliant Robin. But I'd install a rollcage and a Recaro buckets with 4-point harness, similar to the one that was driven by Clarkson on TG. Because, "Racecar."

-> Plus I've driven the S4. Man! Its V8 is torquey, but it felt like an A6 with a V8. It simply didn't have the agility that I wanted.

Ford F-150 Raptor

Ford F-150 Lightning

Chevrolet Silverado SS

2011 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S

^ As much as I love the 997.2 Turbo S, I'd pick the R8 V10 with a 6-speed GATED manual. If only the Gallardo was the LP550-2, I'd take that instead.

You should probably add pictures, so people that want to catch up don't miss it.
Anyways, i would probably choose the Delta, if i was restricted to the newest ones, probably the Golf, but where is the Fiesta?

I wanted 1 car per make, and I had the Focus ST for Ford

BTW I would go for the Focus

Lancia Delta HF Integrale 1999

The HF Integrale was only produced from 1991 to 1994 (although some Dealer's Collection cars were apparently built in 1995). No 4WD, high-power permutation of the Nuova Delta (the Tipo 2 platform car that was in production by 1999 and was effectively a completely different car - the first gen of the Delta shared its platform with the FIAT Ritmo/Strada) were sadly ever offered.

Anyways, keeping an Integrale running is a PITA, the A45 AMG is too damn expensive, I hate Golfs, hate BMW hatchs, and the 307 GTI is too "meh" for me. I reckon the Abarth would be the car less likely to kill me, and that the Megane RS would be a more sensible choice, but... Seriously, have you seen the Civic Type R? It's the hot hatch Batman would choose, and who am I to say that Batman is wrong?

Sorry, forgot the years. I meant 1992. The new Civic is badass. I'll include pictures of each car

2015 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG
Why? In the road test with the A45, BMW and Golf, Clarkson completely ignored the Merc because it was 2 expensive. And came to the conclusion that the Golf was better.

The Golf is essentialy the BMW M3 of Hot Hatchbacks. It's the best and that's the end of it. Even though I would rather have the Focus ST

To be honest, I picked it since I honestly have seen these hot hatches posted so often and I always choose the Focus. So, I figured why not pick something different this time.

But why the uber expensive Mercedes? Why not the GTI? Or even the RWD Beemer? Hell the Abarth is a decent choice as they are, what, £12,000 new? I may be wrong there I haven't looked at the price of an Abarth 500
