Man, I’m stuck between the ‘67 with its 429 V8 and gorgeously brutalist Bill Mitchell design, and the downsized ‘80 (I’d take the reliable Olds 350 gas V8, not the diesel, but if I could wait until ‘82 to buy this generation, then I’d take the 249 cid HT-4100 engine.) Sadly I can’t seem to find who designed the ‘79-‘85 generation Eldorado, but like almost every downsized GM design of the late ‘70s/early ‘80s, it’s a real out-of-the-ballpark winner. The proportions are perfect.

For me, this is the order:
1. Alpina B10
2. Opel Omega Carlton
3. Mercedes-Benz 500E.
4. BMW M5.
Though E34 is my favorite generation of the M5, I find that the early models are a bit on the soft side aesthetically, which is why I give it last place.

That's exactly why I love the M5. Plain. Jane, but when you notice those wheels, your like, "Oh!... oh yeah. He/She knows what they've got.".
It'd be the Carlton(I think at the time, the Road & Track Exotic Cars magazine mentioned it had more torque than a Diablo) or the M5.
