Just a detail. It's finland so it's not feets, it's meters. I watched the finnish rallye this season on tv and the longest jump was by McRae I think. Anyway the length was 55 meters...
Wrong. I happened to watch the rally too (wonder why ) and not only from TV. The longest jump was made by Märtin with a speed of about 175km/h and length of 57 meters.

i thought in WRC regulations, they get a run beforehand. in the canadian/american regualtions, i dont think they get to traverse the course before hand tho.
