The übersave is a game save that is 100% finished and features all 730+ cars in the garage. It's a must to run in the WRS without having to struggle to get the car that we're using
I'm using a PAL one, but a search here on GTP would certainly link you to an NTSC übersave.

I don't know if it's the same gamesave that I have, but the one I have just has around 30 days or something...

And with that, I believe that all the tracks aren't unlocked, or am I wrong?

...which means that you should start by doing a search over there.

finally i got my maxdrive in, installed the ubersave at once and got about 100 holl01 replays to drool over.
on my own mc, i'm at 96.4 thanks to bob. he also made me a comfortable 155m credits. a-spec is at 'bout 9000 points, as is b-spec with 92-89-88? points.
my garage is full save about 7 cars i couldnt win from the licences and missions, and the total is about 780 cars.

Personally, I'm at 48.5% progress. I earned all licences pretty late, and now I managed to silver all the B and A tests (most are gold, but the guide-runs are tough). Proud owner of 12 Fiat 500, among them 2 10KM 500Rs. At the beginning, my motto was "Overkill, and let Bob do it". I went through Clubman, Tuning and Turbo championships with... A Mercedes CLK-GTR. I used the Cerbera Speed 12 for FR Challenge. A 350HP Eclipse for FF challenge. 1200BHP LMPs for the tarmac-rallys. Chapparral 2J on the "Small Car Championship" (Pro hall) - I lapped the whole field in 4 laps! And many other overkills... Right now, I'm trying to do more A-spec races, I've done El Capitan for (almost) 200 points, I've raced Sunday cup and some others for 200 points, and generally do 30+ point races... Otherwise, it's boring.
B-bop is at ~6600 points, since he's just the money-maker and hour-endurance driver. I did El Capitan and SuperSpeedway in A-spec...

Just recently I got very interested in progressing in the game. I used to make new saves every once in a while, but now I am in the middle of GTWC, and it's the first time I even attempted it. I'll post my progress after. Also, all A-Spec so far. Bspec would just screw up anyway.

Been a long time since I had a reason to post in here...

Just wanted to come in and boast my latest feat!
After switching to the roof cam about 3 week ago (played in 3rd person since GT1), I decided to work on my skills in hopes that I would regain what skill I had before the switch.

Well tonight was the final moment in my quest to regain my skills. Tonight my friends, I bested the Super License with all gold from the roof cam!
I started with the Rally races, which were hard at first, and eventually worked my way through all of the street races in order of first to last. Fortunately, after doing the rallies everything seemed like cake.

So now I'm the proud new owner of a Model T.
Suprisingly, I didn't have all gold on the super license before my view switch... Now I'm wondering if I ever would have made gold on the S license if I hadn't changed over (even more so, I wonder about the rally tests).

Atleast I know I can gold the licenses with my new view (even if I couldn't do it in my old view).

Just got myself an Audi during the PD Cup, along with my Opera S2000! 26.3% now, 14482 A-spec only, not going for points much yet, but still like the chalenge. 0 B-Spec miles, never used him, never will. A-Spec htough, 1,362 miles. 59 cars, 22 May, 1,145,224 Cr. Also have a 56.8% win ratio.
Also, I'm using a cheated save for WRS, it doesn't affect my laptimes, just gives me infinite money, and every car shown in the showroom is for sale for $1.

Right now, off the top of my head, I've progressed to about 55%, about 115 cars so far, maybe 5 bought. My biggest feat though is finishing all 34 driving missions! Haven't played alot lately, but I'm about 99% finished all the Japanese manufacturer races, some of the American ones, all Beginner Hall and Professional Hall races are 100% complete, and I'm about 75% complete the Special Conditions races. Almost finished all Extreme races too.

As for licenses, I have all gold on B and A licenses, all silver on iB, almost all gold, and all silver on iA. Will be working on all gold on Super License soon.

No, you won't have your life back until you get 100K points. Nice B-Spec stats (same as mine).
I just recently got to 100% and now trying to get all gold licences. Got 57 now, another 15 easy ones coming up. Can't even get silver on slalom tests :-(

Slalom is much much easier with a DFP. And they are entirely done with the gas. Well, almost. Took me a few tries whenI went back to get golds on them, thats for sure.

And bleh... I can't be bothered to not just B-spec the enduros. Too much time in a car I don't want to drive generally. Still, impressive.

Slaloms - I tried it with DS2, DFP, all three views ... No luck.

The slaloms are killing me on my quest for 80 golds...

With all the other licence tests i have to left to acheive gold on i can see myself running the required time. But with the slaloms im only JUST getting silver times...even after watching the demo's countless times.

obituary

i sadly have to announce the death of my dear and beloved gamesave. after many months of life giving me joy finally a stroke of unluck gave her a corrupt data situation which she did not survive.

now i can not prove to anyone that i got to 96,4% with 155m cr., 800+ cars, 9 gold and 40 silver licences anymore, and i have to live on in her sweet memory using the ubersave, my 'german only' gamesave or a new one i could start.

i think i will never get over this.

It's nothing personal Steven, but it's not the first time it happens to someone. Using your Maxdrive to copy your game save to your pc is the way to prevent the loss of your data. You should have known this...

I bought mine on WRS Week 71, when it became clear I was heading for a Gold - and it didn't dissappoint me, since three days after I got it, the savefile died, and I had a backup already made. Since then, I radically slowed my car-buying and game-progress speed, so I make an update once a week, when I get the WRS replays ready.

And on-topic: My GT-disk seems kinda weird, it always gets the red spinning DRE disk when I load up the 'Ring, or any part of it. Brad, wanna switch? I also can't seem to load up the Nissan one-makes, which is a shame, since I got a beautiful stock Skyline R32 V-Spec in grey.

Some people never learn...

It's nothing personal Steven, but it's not the first time it happens to someone. Using your Maxdrive to copy your game save to your pc is the way to prevent the loss of your data. You should have known this...

i know my fellow countryman, it's just that the backup i made was not of my essential gamesave but of my 'german only' game i did.
so i did think of backupping, i just picked the wrong one

Well, that's bad luck then. I have my complete MC stored on pc, just in case.

But I lost my GT3 replays myself. I hope I still have them somewhere on a backup CD, otherwise I can shoot myself

i, surprisingly enough, have never completed GT4 or any GT game i have owned 100%... i picked up one of those uber-saves when i first started racing on here coz i needed a car for one of the first WRS races and have continued to use the uber-save since then...

i have however golded all the licence tests, just simply haven't added all of the times to the GTRP database yet...

All the data loss talk in here freaks me out!
As of right now I'm heading over to my MaxDrive and backing-up my game save at the first chance I have.

In any case though, I do want to mention that I've made one of the final steps in my GT4 progress... I've trimmed my garage down to very minimal numbers (not sure how many but I think it's under 400). 👍

Now most of my cars are setup with mods and settings.
It's just too bad I lost what little GT4 skill I had.

So yeah, that's my progress.

Hope nobody minds me reviving this old thread. I am at about 76.5% and have recently been afflicted with an overwhelming compulsion to get all the Fiat 500's in every color. I have no idea why. I have driven them about 3 times and don't see myself ever using them, but I cannot pass one up when I see it in for sale. I used to try to get every model of Skyline in purple if it was available... at least I drive the Skylines and can use them for things. Other cars I like to collect are GTIs and Lotuses (Loti?). I also try to get 2 of the cars I used the most incase I use them so much that the power goes down permanently.
