Leadys and gentelman i just passed mission 34 :sly:  :dopey: :)
I can only say that race nr 10 in GT3 arcade mode was alot harder (IMO)(the one on that very long tracki dont remember track name:/) - any one alse thinks the same way ?
Those are errors that i made during mission 34:
- I startet lap 1sek after word START! -> i had to pee and my brother didnt paused that on time (baga !)
- i went off track about 5 times - not short cuting - i just overdid in those places
- i had 1 5sek penalty :D:D:D - AI car contact :/
So overal i could run this at least about 10 sek faster :(
Now here are my T times:

Total time: 9'15.685
T1: 1'42.736 (1sek lost due to late start :/)
T2: 1'33.540
T3: 1'25.840
T4: 1'13.405
T5: 1'00.321
T6: 48.962
T7: 34.994 AI contact during sector between T7 and T8
T8:28.457
T9: 23.321
T10: 13.644
T11: 5.252
Finish: -0,771

I have replay saved - if anybody wants to see it please write sth in this topic - i will buy AR max and share ma "success" ;)
I will try to do it compleatly clean but not now - now im back to nihongo :P
Now - good luck to everyone that is trying to do that mission ;)

Nice work villainpl. That must have put a big smile on your face for passing that one. :D

My current status, trying to get all golds in the licenses and I'm stuck on A-13. :dunce:

Woah! im well behind GT4 than most guys in this forum, only got the game a few weeks ago.. havent had much time to play it.. Ive got all the medals, (5 golds, 11 silvers, and the rest bronze) heheh yeah not too impressive on the license count!! hopefully WRS training well get me all golds in a few months :) no hurry for me about 33 percent done in gt4, missions i think up to around 14 or something like that!

and on top of that! apparently im tackling Division 2 WRS, this is my first week, i think ill be carrying the wooden spoon this week!! :(

No matter, next week is a new week!!! 👍

i have not played a single race in GT mode since i join WRS... i have 88% and i don´t know when i´ll be able to complete the game... GT was always about time trial for me...

Absolutely! Complex String with the RUF was HEAPS harder than mission 34!

Hmm, I have to disagree with you. The Complex String is much easier to memorize than the Ring... It was one of my favourites in GT3 though, especially the section with the sequence of 90 degree corners, and the part with the increasing/decreasing corners 👍

Sorry but i do not remeber if it was easier to rember (maybe) but i know that i took me alot alot more time to pass that than to pass mission 34 in GT4. Maybe it was easier to rember but run that track very fast was very hard (imo) and as far as i rember alot harder than getting quick at the Ring (if u know what i mean) and yes i also rember that 90 degree turns :) and the one that one of the licens is on - i wish i had GT3 right now i would test myself on that track once more ;)
Now time to get that minolta ne ;)

Well, here's my meager showing so far:

Game Completion: 60.9%
A Spec Points: 9923

Golds: 4
Silvers: 21
Bronzes: 55
(I'll go back and attempt to improve on the # of Gold licenses at a later date/time)

A-Spec Mileage: 7,359
B-Spec Mileage: 2.575

Win Ratio: 60.6%
Total # of Trophies: 336
Total # of Prize Cars: 101
Total Prize Credits: 6,224,100
No of cars owned: 271

Missions NOT yet completed:
11 - 14 -16 - 18 - 20 - 21 - 22 - 23 - 26 - 30 - 33 - 34
(Most of the lower number missions I just never bothered to try and go back and complete once I had spent enough time getting to know the game but will 'eventually' get to them!)

Most laps on a single track: (Estimated)
Over 800 at Nurburgring
(About 10 laps, Monday through Friday, for the last 3 months or so...)

Check my signature....Im bout 30% complete now tho...i should change that sumtime....lol. I race in WRS most of the week and rarely get to do the actual game but nevermind...

15500ish a-spec points
82%win ratio
about 200 races raced i think

After restarting and slow progress, I've now got golds for B, A, and IB Licenses. Now I'm at 48/0/0

Nice work there! Always a big thumbs up to those chasing 80 golds.👍 IA shouldn't be too bad for you as I thought most of them were easier than the IB ones. Some of the S Class ones can be a bit rough though the first time through. Especially Suzuka and the Chamiox ones for me anyway.

Yeah I just went thru about half of the S tests and many of them I did with a couple seconds to spare except for the Suzuka one....that one I had to do about 6 times before I golded it again, and even then, it was BARELY legal. They are fun to go back and gauge my performance since I've started the WRS, and man CFM I've gotten faster than I thought possible for me. 👍 . Although when I ran my qualifyer again a few days back I only trimmed about .3...*sigh* and I spent about 2 hours on it total and another 2 hours on my first week, week 7 skyline's. I didn't know what I was getting into quite yet...lol. And a tip for those of us who care about having a 100% win ratio, be forewarned: whn doing a race, ANY race in sim mode like week 27 F1 at Tokyo, your ratio WILL drop. Although I only know of 2 people trying to get the 100% win ratio, Bobkart (in progress of - gttimes. com) and myself

Well, its been a while (June last time I posted here!) and I've still not gone back to the WRS yet :( Have been waiting until I completed the game to come back and its really taking some time!

Progress at the moment is as follows:-

46.8% (80 Gold licences, 5 Gold coffee breaks, 34 Missions complete)
37170 A-spec points 10,936 A-spec miles (10 enduros A-specced)
0 B-spec skill level 0 B-spec miles
697 days
664,445 Cr Cash!!! (Not enough for any of the Black Beauties that are in the used car lots at the moment! :( )
334 Cars owned. (Bought almost all the available used cars, and very few "new" cars!)

So far I've used about 152 cars to win the 228 races that I've taken part in. Have tried as much as possible to keep stock cars and go for high A-spec points.
Still haven't finished all the races in Beginner or Professional hall yet!

Notable achievments:-
Taking 5 x 200pt races in 5 different stock rides in Race of Turbo Sports in Professional hall.

Promise I'll be back to race in the WRS when I finally get to 100%! Got 6 enduros left, and only 1 of them is a 24hr one! (Nurburgring 24hr, saving the best for last!)

well.. here's what i've been doing for 15 days.

201 laps of fun... great car for this race though.
even though the oil and chassis was totally fried it would still do sub 7-min with ease.
hell, i set my fastest lap after the 12 hour mark with > 1000 miles of wear and tear.

Ya know, the skyline challenge on the test track has really been bothering me lately, I cant seem to get within .25 second of beating the first place car.

What methods have worked for you guys?

to me the worst challenge in GT4... because you have to rely on others...

what worked for me was to draft and avoid bumping... just draft and let then pass averytime...

when you see that the AI is drafting you, change your line and let them go flying... if not, the stupid AI sometims will slow down and only pass you close to the turn...

good luck...

Another ,less sportsman way to win is to get on the bumper(literally) of the dark car in front coming out of turn one. Stay on his bumper for 2 1/2 laps. Going into the last turn of lap 3 drop down to the inside of the track right before the AI hits his brakes going into the corner. Stay down low for 10 seconds or so until you feel you can catch a draft from the #1 car, ease up, catch his draft and pass him 100 yards or so before the finish. It really does work , but like I said, not very sporting.

Hey -> I thought that im the only one beeing so mad to try to have 100% win ratio -> your post cheered me up man, althought right now im at about 90% win ratio i plan to restart my GT4 save and have 100% win ratio and 0 Bspec miles. I had 100%win ratio in GT3 but that of course was easy ne. I have seen (on GTP) some guy that had "255" twice in GT3 (i think it was 255 -> minimum number of days to finish GT3 + 100% win ratio)....
So right now im at about 36% of a game and i really plan to restart my save -> any tips for me ? do it or not ?....

There is a thread in the main GT4 section of the board on just that subject.

As a matter of fact, i discovered the WRS only when i was looking for some help on that mission, and stumbled across the WRS thread at the same time!

Oh yeah, and i'm also trying for the 100% win ratio in my GT mode game save too.

Not got very far, WRS, girlfriend and work takes all my time at the moment.

100% win ratio is insane, and probably not that fun either due to using vastly overpowered cars to sustain the win ratio. My GT4 progress looks like this:

Playing Since: 9th March 05

Game Completion: 96.7%
Day: 2,590

License: b a ib ia s
Gold: 80
Silver: 0
Bronze: 0

Missions completed: 34/34

A-spec points: 62,031
A-spec miles: 7,288 (11,729 km)
B-spec points: 6,567
B-spec miles: 6175 (9,938 km)

Win ratio: 59.5% (825 wins from 1386 races)

Current cash: 840,104 Cr.

1st Car owned: Honda Civic Type R (EK) '98
Current Car: Nismo 400R '96
Total Cars owned: 246
Favourite Car: Trial Celica SS-II (ZZT231) '03
Proudest moment: Passing mission 34!

All that remains to be completed (and i think i'm gonna get B-spec Bob to do them) is the two Le Mans 24hr races and the 15 race Formula 1 series in the Extreme Hall.

Since I had a little bit of free time and that fact that I'm not doing this week's race (and I hate NOS), I proceeded to finish my chase of the 80 golds and achieved them. Now it's Mission Hall time.

I just realized that I have never posted in this thread, though I reached 75 or 76%.
The problem is that I haven't used my own gamesave for a couple of months. Every time I switch the console on, I use the übersave memcard and test several dozens of combos for the future WRS races.

Perhaps when I retire from the WRS I'll have time to race again for myself

@bleurabbit : congrats for the gold licences.

heh, my win-ratio was blown apart as soon as i started chasing a-spec points.
since you don't know what the race will give you it involves alot of trial-and-error restarts.
would have been nice if it told the potential a-spec points before you hit start. :/

Yeah, i've just started going back and re-doing races. I'm working towards 100,000 A spec points. Whether i'll get close is another matter.

Has everybody finished their GT4 game already ?
I got stuck at around 75% and stopped playing for a while. Too much B-spec, too many un-interesting races against dumb AI...

I recently started a brand new game. I have licences B, A and IB (18/48 golds) and I've done missions 1 to 10. I'm now trying to gold all these 48 licences and run all 10 missions cleanly before proceeding to licence IA and missions 11 and above.
Don't know yet if I'll start again the GT events or not...

I am 34% of the way done on my real game. I have a game that I cheated on parts that I use if I want to have fun and don't care about racing, but just want to see what I can get for a car.

Also, all of the gamesaves on my website were created by injecting different cheat's to get money, car's, etc. I will actually be releasing that gamesave with all of the cars in the arcade mode in a week or two (the one I had started when the game came out, but never finished).

Flat-out, what is the übersave memcard?

Flat-out, what is the übersave memcard?
The übersave is a game save that is 100% finished and features all 730+ cars in the garage. It's a must to run in the WRS without having to struggle to get the car that we're using :D
I'm using a PAL one, but a search here on GTP would certainly link you to an NTSC übersave.
