I just found this community and it seems to be great! And I would love to be a part of it. I have the ps2 and the reason why I bought it is GT4. Anyway, I am still learning to drive and hope to have some fun here.
I have a couple of questions though. Firstly, I can't see the overall leaderboard after 70th week. I tried the leaderboard here. But it doesn't show me anything after the 70th week.
Secondly, about submitting replays. Hopefully, I will be on the leaderboard sometime and will be asked to submit a replay
I saw the post using the max drive. But I don't own one. Is there any other way I can capture a replay from my ps2 and send it?

I can answer that for you, that was an older board that was set up by Tedehur aka Flat Out which has not been touched since i started here myself. This is the leaderboard you should be checking out for the weeky progress.

Secondly you can sub a replay with a game shark too but that is the only way to be sure we have no cheats. Good news is they are cheap and you can gets all the cars and money you need. Bad point is they are hard to come buy at the mo. Here is where you can get one thou

If you'd like any help at all in setting a LAN event up, I can offer advice and even race events now that I've organised the "Left"-Coast one. I can't promise I'd be able to actually attend, but I can share my experience with you. Just PM me if you want details. đź‘Ť
I will have to look for a cheap max drive from somewhere... ebay.. here I come!

A Game Shark is not the same as a MAX Drive!
MAX Drive is in effect a USB Flash drive, of 16MB capacity, which you can plug into the USB port of the PS2, transfer a gamesave to, and then plug the device into your PC USB port and browse like an external drive to transfer the data in .max format.
A Game Shark was a terminal that connected the PC & PS2 directly via USB cables, but gives totally different gamesave formats than MAX Drive, either .sps files for Sharkport or .xps files for X-port (there were 2 versions for the NTSC / PAL regions but I can't remember which is which!)
There is a conversion program that'll allow you to convert between the formats somewhere on this site, (in the GT3 WRS section, I believe) but you can only convert NTSC MAX Drive to NTSC Sharkport format and vice versa or similarly swap PAL files of both formats.
There is no way to swap between NTSC & PAL.

Can I just ask, how did GTKJon get his qualifying time verified? sjaak68 hasn't been online for over a week... Did he submit the time to someone else?
