Been asked several times : you can enter the series without a MaxDrive.
But if you're the fastest in your division you'll be requested to post a reply and if you can't, your time will be DQ'ed.
Check the FAQ thread, you should find useful information in it.

Hey, welcome aboard dude! Good to see you've made the step over.

I'm probably pulling out of the AE86 Tour now. No results thread has been posted for Tokyo yet, but it's no fun with f-all competitors. It was a series with potential, just not enough players. Not definate yet, but we'll see what happens.

Well, I'm done horsing around. I've sent my qualify times for a WRS entry.
It was some fun to do it, too. Infineon SC is quite fun to run after a while and practices one's driving skills. And after repeated attempts to lower my time I've come down to accept the pace I could achieve on clean laps. That said, I look forward to race among the best. 👍

Thanks for the advice. Since I don't yet have the car for this week's race, I might miss the boat this time but GT4 has took much of my freetime this week so... who knows!

Do your very best. Running only a few laps will not accurately place you in the proper division. Give it your best shot so that you will be placed in a division that suits your skill level as acccurately as possible.

So I'm DEFINITELY gonna join, but the drawbacks are: I'm at a buddy's house. There's not GT4 here. There's GT4 at my house, but there's no interweb. I have no ARmax or whatever, so I gotta get one of those. Anyway. As soon as I can get the ARmax thing, get home, and get back, I'm in like Flynn.
