well, i was defeated by casio in chess, i admit, but he just happened to forget to mention that i bet him in our last 2 encounters :D, so its 2-1 biatch!

and as for the grass, i have eaten grass b4, but i didnt like it that much.... i prefer eating some chocolate muffins

The worst thing I ever ate (well, drank actually) was 95% pure alcohol.
Just disgusting :yuck: :yuck:

worst thing for me was dog food...:yuck:

poor animals

but at least it was a bit better than grass... which by the way, i also tried.

turns out, it didn´t turn me into an alien... so i guess i have to import grass from australia

hey how much can you guys drink, without getting alcohol poisining

-ive done 11 shots of Bacardi 151 75.5% ~ in one sitting,
-20 beers
-3/4 of crown royal ~ ewwww

~ and here is a drink, that i can bet no1 can take more then 3 shots of
its called a "Rocky Mountain Bear Fcuker"
- 1/3 tequila
- 1/3 JD
- 1/3 151

enjoy! :D

Worst thing i ate was an ant when i was little, Oh my, i never tried that again! :yuck:

The food I can't go without will have to be pasta and pizza (the Italian way, for both of them, obviously) :D

That's why I can't wait to get the hell out of here - where "here" = U.S.A.

Only two more months and I'll be home for the Summer.

Only one more semester after that and I'll be home for good 👍 :D

The Wizard.

can't do your shooter in my state (dunno about the rest of the country) coz 151 is actually illegal :( except if you buy a shot at a bar/pub

as for the most i have drunk in a sitting, would be one of my all day binges in which i started with a carton (24) and finsihed without one, took a while, and i was paralytic by the end of it but it was great fun (i think) i apparently talk more **** when i am drunk then when i am not, which surprised me!

my old man is a bit better drinker than me though, at my ciusins wedding last year, him and his brother went to the bar and finished 4 and a half bottles of whiskey :indiff: was a little rough around the edges the next day... :P

well ,i´m not much of a drinker, but one night at this year´s carnival i had a shot of whysky, one more of curaçao (its a spanish name, can´t remember...) and 4 shots of tequila... (jose cuervo)...

so i got a bit silly thinking that i was don juan. hit over 50 women that night... :dopey: kissed 2of those 50 women... :) which gives me a bad rating, but still it was lots of fun and i was pretty much normal the next day...👍

hit as of flirting... and its an estimated number, i didn´t count i would have to be really drunk to actually hit a girl... just joking, i guess i didn´t used the right word...

To "hit on" I think is the phrase he was looking for.

As in, to try and pick up, get together with, do the horizontal samba, make the beast with two backs, etc...

yep, that´s pretty much what i tried to say... i would never try to beat up/"hit" a women

i wiped the fCuk out today man...

bike riding, 75% my fault ~ 25% my buddies fault

- i removed my front brake, due to rubbing issues
- as we road across this bridge, i was in the draft and closing too quickly... so i decided to come up beside him till he re-passed me
- well, he had no idea i came up beside him ~ and was pretty much in the middle of the road ~ but enough room for 2 bikes side by side
- he swerves just that little bit, and our handle bars lock ~ almost sending me onto a busy fCuken bride
- i then struggle to maintain the bike, and eventually had to lay the bike down and prevent as much damage to myself
- i fell exactly how the books would tell you to, no head damage thank god ~ due to no helmet
- but my right knee, and left pinky are the worst for wear
- all in all, just minor scrapes i guess...

this coulda been so much worse... but luckily there was no cars around us at the time

even though its 75% my fault for even having the idea of going up beside him, i wish he didnt panic when he saw me beside him...

well i went for my Provisional License today and got it 1st go. This means i can drive on my own and have a total of 4 points for 3 years and 0% blood alcohol limit. Once the 3 years is up i have 2 years of Open license where i have 12 points and .05% alcohol blood limit. Then i have to renew my license.

No other restrictions are on my P's compared to Opens as of yet. But other "states" in Australia have curfews/ passenger restrictions and also engine restrictions. But im willing to bet that before my 3 years is up, one or more of these things will have found its way into my state.

bad luck champ, i got off my P's a couple of years and never had to do any of the new bull**** that youngun's like yourself now have to do, no logbook, no restrictions, no curfews just 1 year on P's... :)

I get mine in about 3 months. In Victoria do have engine restrictions and that's it I think. Max power is 125kw/Tonne. Or 3.5L/Tonne

They're proposing a ban on all Turbo and Supercharged cars down here too. In NSW this is already the law I believe....

Correct. This is what you're allowed to drive under NSW P-Plate laws.

RTA
As well as eight cylinder, turbo and super charged vehicles, all new provisional (P1 and P2) drivers are restricted from driving the following high powered six cylinder vehicles:

BMW M and M3.
Honda NSX.
Nissan 350Z.
Porsche (all models).
Mercedes Benz SLK350.

A list detailing prohibited models is attached below.

Exempted vehicles
The following turbo and supercharged vehicles are exempt and will not require an application form to be submitted:

All diesel powered engine vehicles.
Suzuki Cappuccino 2D Cabriolet Turbo 3 698cc (1/01/1992 - 1/12/1997).
Daihatsu Copen L880 2D Convertible Turbo 4 659cc (1/10/2003- ).
Smart vehicles (all models).

I might move to NSW. Get myself a Lotus Exige, S2000, or E49 Charger. Unfortunately, I won't be able to drive an Isuzu Piazza Turbo, or Rover 3500...What the?!

If you're interested in all 98 pages of phohibited vehicles, you can find them here

Nearly all Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volvo, Saab and many other european cars are on that list also i belive.

Its quite silly, But alas so far Queensland has no restrictions expect 4 points instead of 12 and no alcohol tolerance compared to .05%. Which isnt anything that worries me, so its all good.

Yeah, that's what caused lots of controversy. Especially the Volvos and the Saabs which use low pressure turbo chargers and are some of the safest cars on the road are not allowed to be driven.

They should ban all cars that score bad in the saftey ratings instead. I feel more safer in a fastish Mercedes Benz than a box on wheels slow POS that has barely any power and because its so slow it will probably get you into trouble, then you get run over and die.

Exactly right. You're allowed to drive some 1950s/60s bomb, with no Seatbeats, 4 drum brakes and leaf springs all round.

But you're not allowed to drive a new Volvo with ABS, TC, ASM (Whatever Volvo's version is), 12 Airbags, 4 Wheel Disks, Fancy Seatbelts, Crumple zones, and 4000 types of things to stop you being getting a scratch.

Madness.

WOO HOO, I JUST GOT A MAX DRIVE.

sorry for the shouting, but I am a bit excited. Now I just have to finish this semester of school and I can get back to racing.

restrictions in other states are just plain dumb to be honest, we have next to none of the restrictions that apply to NSW, Victoria etc... but our road toll is no better/worse, instead of limiting the drivers in these particular states a MUCH greater emphasis should be put into driver training, especially advanced driver traing, but not forgetting defensive driver training, a powerful car isn't the main contributing factor in a crash, a driver's inexperience and inability to make acceptable decisions when they have a powerful car at their control IS THE problem, i am staggered by the amount of clowns that can crash any falcon or commodore older than 1998 coz they REALLY don't have that much power, sheesh if you crash one of them you should never have been able to get your licence in the first place. it also severely highlights the severe lack of fundamental basics being taught to young drivers nowadays. i am no old bastard but i have been driving for four years now, and have driven some wickedly powerful cars in my time (especially when i was working and Audi and had the luxury of sampling the AWESOME RS6). i flogged the **** out of that and felt SOOOOO much safer than i do driving with younger members of society (my little bro excepted coz he is a bloody good little driver).

whilst limiting young drivers to low-powered, low capacity cars will have a small benefit, it also neglects the fact that these people STILL aren't going to have any idea of how to drive a powerful car if they get stuck in a bad situatuion, when the time comes that they are legally able to drive them, so teach kids to drive all ranges of cars from slow to fast and everywhere in between...

basically i am saying more driver training so that when it comes time to get into a more powerful car young people can know what to do...

EDIT: more ranting to come now

while what i said before is mostly true, it still isn't going to stop the bogans and other idiots who are out on the road from doing dumb **** and causing self inflicted accidents, this kind of stupidity just isn't go to disappear completely coz everyone is different and when you are an idiot you generally die an idiot, unfortuately they kill other people in the process)...

one of the better laws that we have is the recently implemented "hoon" laws which gives the cops the ability to impound cars for a specific time frame depending upon how severe the infringement you may be doing is.... stuff like street racing, drifting burnouts etc are all under this little law, and it is doing a surprising good job of getting the message across to all the ********s out there behind the wheel, who seem to think they are **** hot being the wheel when really they are effen useless...

now i could write a damn essay on how to improve the road toll tally's and making sure young people are safer behind the wheel, but i don't want to be typing for the next 3 days to finish it all... so

End Rant (for now)

Totally agree. About 3 months ago, I went on a learners defensive driving course.

When I did my first emergency braking, I locked my brakes, went straight on, hit 6 cones and took 30 metres to stop from 60km/h. So did the rest of the group. (Including the girl who was driving her dads souped-up MR2, in the wet, which stopped about 50 metres away...). After 5/6 attempts, we all managed to stop at about the 20 metre mark.

It's just a simple, 1 day thing like this that could save many lives. The difference between 30m and 20m is huge. I believe it has made me a much better driver as well.

Maybe they should introduce licenses to drive cars of different power levels? First 1/2 years the highest power you can drive is 100kw, then after that if you want to drive something with more power, you have to prove you have the ability to. And so on until you get an 'Unlimited Licence'.

This is the exact course I did. Pretty pricy, but I think it was worth it.

It's been shown that you forget over 80% of what you learn on those types of driver courses. While I agree that every driver should try to attend one, there's no substitute for experience. In the 6 or so years I've been driving, I've learnt (and remembered) more emergency control from getting out of trouble on the road than I ever did during a driving course.

Regulating the power of cars to people on their P's or with limited time behind the wheel is mostly useless. If these idiots want to go speeding or racing or whatever, they will do it regardless of whether or not they are allowed to drive powerful cars. Hell, even I can get my near-stock, base-model Corolla to 200+ kmh (not that I'm stupid enough to do it anymore).

If the law-makers were serious about stopping people from being idiots on the roads they would put more highway patrols on the road, instead of relying on speed cameras. In NSW, the highway patrol is the only police division to have become smaller in the last 10 years. Years ago I remember being scared to speed in case I was caught - nowadays I'm lucky to see one chaser a day, and I drive 12+ hours a day through Sydney.

2 hour 45 min trip, from my house in Vancouver to Bellevue...

in 1 hour and 35 min, avg. speed 85mph = blown headgasket, and no more car to use

looks like a stupid thing to do... but i wouldnt do it if i wasnt confident enough

Just wondering. What happened to our old WRS guy CFM? I've noticed that he is no longer a super-duper-moderator (His name isn't big and bold at the bottom of this thread page), hasn't been online in 5 days, and hasn't posted in near 2 weeks?

I should have known many here would care, and I should have told you. My bad.
Todd (aka CFM) asked to be demoted as a super mod because he is not much active anymore on GTP, and he thought that his superpowers would be more useful given to someone who is more active and more involved.
Thus the recent promotion of Famine and Scaff as supermods.

He'll probably drop by, now and then, but not as often as he used to.

@ Cyril; have you got a 'birthday special' lined up for next weeks race since the GT4 WRS will be exactly 1 year old?

I can understand that you underestimate frenchmen. I meet 10 of them every day who don't make me proud of being a frenchman. Yet I thought you would know me better than that after all the effort I'm putting in the WRS.
Of course, I have a special birthday race that will be posted on April 4th, exactly 1 year after Kent posted the first GT4 WRS race.

;)

Flat-out

 I don't underestimate you, french or not. Of course i knew you'd have something special organised. I was just trying to maybe get a bit of a clue as to the nature of the race. :sly: I have no doubt it will be special though. 👍
