Yeah, if you want to do formation laps you need to be strict about the formation and discipline. 👍

I am thinking single file all way around giving each other space, and at least for Daytona form up after the Bus Stop.

Also we have a new quali procedure - for Daytona Quali will be a 20 minute shootout.

Also think the first corner could be a nightmare, especially with such long tracks like Sarthe and Nurb, engine damage at the first corner at Nurb will mean you'll be 2-3 minutes behind after the first lap..

Well, thats Endurance Racing! (Remembers WSM1 when I lost 5 minutes at Monza) :ouch:

As long as everyone remembers that the races are long and first corner dives are a stupid and reckless thing to do, then there shouldn't be a problem. :ill:

Any dive bombers at the start of the Le Mans 500k will be taken out and shot. Le Mans and Nurb will be standing starts.

I wasn't there in WSM S1, and thats not endurance racing, its stupid! Endurance racing is losing 10-30 seconds and being able to make it up, losing 2-3 minutes means you might as well quit because at most tracks, you wont make it up. Also means the field spreads out and that no one can race properly because they don't want to hit each other.

But it also adds a whole new element in the danger of pushing hard. For example in the latter stages of the race the leader faces a decision of whether he wants to risk keeping a fast pace. 👍

Obviously, there is this danger without heavy damage but it would only result in an off/spin, not a need for a pitstop. :D

I point out Akmuq at Daytona in WSM2 losing around a minute IIRC and driving the wheels off. Also an out of sync stop could turn into something good depending on say changing weather or state of tyres.

On a different note, I tested the GT40 against Spurgy's ride at Daytona last week and its 12-15 seconds slower than the C1 cars but is very stable now its power has been turned down.

Will you be doing a PP test before each race Furi?

Yup, 1:30 down after 10 laps and like 5 stops, all due to damage, some my fault, some not, but I just went flat out the entire race to win by 1:50, I was very happy with that and the following week where I went 21 laps before getting damage, those two races pretty much sealed the championship for me.

Mille Miglia track test in my TOCA lobby at 8.30pm tonight, feel free to join the lobby guys 👍

I feel like joining in the C2 class. I'll do a bit of testing on Sunday to see which car I'll pick.

DK looks to join the series :nervous:

I'm wearing a bra on my head $hitting in my pants

You should never be a one series driver, you'll never be able to drive anything else.

Everybody has preferences. I'm very fast in formula cars, quickish in stock cars but put me in touring cars for example and I just can't deal with it; too slow for me, therefore I don't partake in TOCA. Sports cars I can just about hold decent pace with but nothing spectacular.

I can drive most cars quite well as long as they don't have bad understeer, which is why Im not great in FWD cars, which is why I joined TOCA, for a challenge :)

Race Cars for me, I'm better with S2 cars then S3 cars in TOCA, and I won the WSM.

Goodwood joins the WSC calendar with a 97 lap race of my 2.08 mile Goodwood track, PM me if you want to download it!

Even if we have low entries, we will still be going ahead. Entries are still open!
