At least all I have to do for WSC is set up my transmission, so I can keep playing GTA.

With Yera in GT and just 5 PT runners, could claw some points back tonight. Race preview later on around tea time.

Surely that without draft? New GT car to be revealed pre GT Q and will be given two demo laps. Something tells me it will be an interesting addition...

Pescara
80 Laps / 260 Miles

The second part of the traditional WSC Italian job takes us to Pescara, the historic speeddrome is slowly falling away and it's time is limited. The roads are public, wide, and 3.56 miles in a rough oval. What makes this track is the speed. In a PT, with exception of pitting, speeds never go below 120mph for a whole lap. Nearly the whole race is spent flat out. And when night falls... the realisation comes that you are not just racing other drivers, you are racing the very terrain and Road.

A Pescara Hot Lap:
Approaching full speed for Turn 1, start wide and ease off the accelerator, hug the inside and power down. The slight corner camber increases speeds, yet also means it is easy to go wide and slam the hay bales.

Full speed ahead, over 200mph as the track waves up and down, the biggest crest can result in scary wheelies. Then slam the brakes and aim for the blind inside of turn 2, extremely bumpy, car will be thrown across the road but it is the fastest way. Then it is flat all the way through the sweeping turn 3 downhill to the line.

Furi's Race Control Statement To Drivers:
Few new bits. As requested by drivers, pace speed is now same for both classes when we are single file, until we form up after turn 2. Normal speed is 75mph, for PT's they got to 100mph when they form up.

In case of missing the pits, drivers are permitted to do a 180 degree turn and drive wrong way against pit wall in order to come back to the pits. Oncoming cars please be mindful, the left hand lane is best.

Best of luck to all, just please clear cache before we begin ;)

I'll race tonight, contrary to what I said in the PM. My homework isn't as daunting as I thought!

Furi, are you sure the Cobra is on 458PP? :odd: I can't remember the post that announced that, maybe it was brought in for Monza.

Exhausting race. Sagaris, was nothing I could do, car was backing up already in reverse. Akmuq and Carb, nice wins.

I had 4th-in-class snatched away from me 2 laps from the end.
