Good news Furi, if you haven't already heard, based on this video, the chicane-less versions of Monza and La Sarthe (2009 presumably) will finally have weather (and time change for La Sarthe) in GT6. :)

Edit: Correction, there might not be a weather version of La Sarthe without chicanes, it's hard to tell at this point with only the blurry video to go by.

From the video: Daytona Road with full night confirmed (so not just the speedway).

As for La Sarthe... confusing.

Appears to be: top row: 2005 Regular Weather/Time, 2005 (note the track artwork and compare to GT5) Regular.
Bottom row: 2009 Weather Time / 2009 No Chicane Regular... 2005 Regular... 2005 No Chicane time change?

Still leaves a duplicate. So odd...

top row, 4th track from the left is La Sarthe 2013 (weather + time)
then there's 2009, 2009 (w+t), 2009 (no chicanes), 2005, 2005 (no chicanes)

Speedway was featured in the trailer.

Also, Brands only has around 14 hours of time cycle.

even though I could not care less about NASCAR in real life, I did love doing NASCAR races on GT5, so the biggest mystery for me is whether or not they include the willow springs quarter mile oval in the game. We are already getting Big Willow and Streets of Willow (two completely different tracks that do not share a single piece of asphalt), so it will be interesting to see if they include the oval track...

also FYI, I grew up despising American cars, they are such horribly built ugly pieces of ****...my childhood was spent around Alfa Romeos, BMWs, Mercedes-Benzes, and Porsches...and my job is working on Mercedes from '55 to '72 so it's more than a bit ironic that I have only driven American cars in WSC...

Well, the penultimate race for WSC VI looms on the horizon and I feel it may be a case of "Chase the Lout" for us GT boys for the entire race.

Pescara's next, right?
My connection better not be in a bad mood Sunday.:sly:

Edit: I've 3 wins and 3 second places from Pescara IIRC, fastest lap every time which is just pure chance on a drafty track like this.

Its a pity some of us need 2 stops. :grumpy:
Or maybe even more than 2 stops. :ouch:  :grumpy: This place has NEVER been good to me, [Note: I also have caused a ton of incidents in the past here! :scared:] so I am considering maybe sitting this one out and heading to the booth to commentate instead unless @Furinkazen gets a full field. I should have a decision by Sunday morning.

I'll still test for you Randy, just in case you are taking part and have the results for you by Saturday.

Pescara eh. What a place. The fastest track of the WSC, an extreme 3.5 mile challenge. Bumps, jumps, crests, hills, and a crazy pit entry coupled with the Italian night make an incredible setting. Roll on Sunday.

Will be testing shortly

I'd love to win this one more time.
Anyone else here hoping GT6's track editor will be detailed enough for a decent pescara remake?

After tonight's test its clear to me that I can do no better than consolidate 3rd for this season as the Alpine and the Lambo are too fast and only need to stop once in pretty much every race.

I really, really hope that WSC VII spawns more balanced cars and the C3 finally gets a weight break as this will improve fuel consumption and tyre wear.

Anyone fancy getting some practice in tonight? Or just messing around on GT5? Got nothing to do tonight now and I'm bored.
