I got a 1:17 with room to get into the mid-1:16s, but I still had my transmission setup from Le Mans.

Couple things I was going back to, which I mentioned at Le Mans. Spec checks we're all cool, we know specs. Q is going back to the original 30 minute block session. And Eiger is a single file 50mph start, with two pace laps.

Repost. Also expecting perhaps around 10 drivers, F1 going to take its toll.

BetDK is offering 3/1 odds that I'll get rammed by a PT in the second sector.

Sorry all, can't attend tonight as we have family over, big (un)happy family meal to be involved in... I'll let you know how much food I get thrown at me later. 👍

Don't wait for me this time guys, have same issue as adam, but instead of dinner is lounch and BBQ. Here is 4pm, sunny, and warm right now, just to be clear :P
Amd good lucks on the race!

It's taken two years+ ... but finally i'm a WSC race winner

Panoz has unofficially secured the title for Ford as well.

Congrats to Lout on a gruelling GT win.

That was just bollocks. This circuit was terrible. If I took the wrong line through turn 2, i.e. being a couple of inches closer to the barrier, I would lose control. My race was 🤬 up before I even managed to make it out of the tunnel. If someone spun out, they just happened to clip me, and give me damage.

🤬 Eiger.

Even though I was dead last out of eight cars, and I did crash a couple of times.. I still ended up finishing 61 of 77 laps. A much better run than at Le Mans. Also, I don't I wrecked anyone either! ;) Congrats @Furinkazen and also to @R0ssingt0n (Lout) for a much deserved win. Thanks for letting come, race, and I'll see you guys for Pescara. :)

Great race in every bit, @Furinkazen got the jump on me at the start and begin a race long wrestling match. We both wreck either together or a lap apart, but Furi got me at the end after a mistake on my part toward the end.

Finally Furi broke his WSC duck. 👍

I know this is coming a week later, but I completely forgot about posting this...

Outside of frame: me in the pits.

Glad I managed to get a win at Eiger, that place is a nightmare! Not sure what went on with Yera and Fox but they seemed to have a dodgy middle part of the race as their race pace was a hell of a lot better than mine!

I guess thinking like Randy and just taking it steady paid off!

I'm also assuming that the title is pretty much Yera's now unless something major happens?

I was forced to pit a second time after two spins before the tunnel that badly damaged my car... although to be honest I wasn't pushing at that point as I had a good enough gap to you.

After that as I knew Fox was too far behind I went into qualy mode to try and reduce the gap where with fresh tyres I had a brief stint of 10 or so consecutive laps below 1:13 with a best of 1:12.5, a full second faster than Fox's best. I was surprised to find out this morning while watching the replay that I was able to reduce the gap to just about 15 seconds by the time the race ended...

It was bloody difficult keeping up with Yeratel as his pace was blistering especially in the corners. I did at one point pass him and stay ahead of him until the tunnel claimed me as a victim and fell down the order on lap 15.
After I pitted it was now just a matter of not going down a lap in GT class as Yera was snapping at my heals and I was determined not to let him pass. As it happened he had an off and gave me some breathing room. After my second stop it was the turn of Lout to try and lap me but again I was not going to let this happen and I started pulling away from him and settled in to what was to be third place.

Second was on for me at Eiger as I needed to finish ahead of Lout but it could also have been a lot worse. Another podium finish was much needed and was quite happy with the result.

Also....we want Tables.....

*Thumps fist on desk*

These are not accurate tables as I do not know fastest laps and pole positions from Nurburgring and Le Mans but are an indication of where the runners in the GT class stand:

Yeratel - 59
Lout - 43
Fox - 41
Fraiser - 33
Ranhammer - 18
DriftKing - 15.5

Sorry in a foul mood right now guys having had a great night spoilt.

Anyhow quickly. (GT may have an error from Daytona.)

Good news Furi, if you haven't already heard, based on this video, the chicane-less versions of Monza and La Sarthe (2009 presumably) will finally have weather (and time change for La Sarthe) in GT6. :)

Edit: Correction, there might not be a weather version of La Sarthe without chicanes, it's hard to tell at this point with only the blurry video to go by.
