WSCC - GT300 & GT500 Championships – Thursday Evenings - FINISHED

On Thursday Evenings WSCC offers you two championship races with GT300 & GT500 cars for 6 weeks (1 Pre Season race and 5 Championship races).

Race lenght for each series about 35/40 minutes

GT300 on Thursday Evenings at 8:30pm UTC/9:30pm MET/3:30pm EST (open lounge) - 9pm UTC/10pm MET/4pm EST (race)

GT500 on Thursday Evenings at 10pm UTC/11pm MET/5pm EST (open lounge) - 10:30pm UTC/11:30pm MET/5:30pm EST (race)

NEW LOUNGE FOR THESE EVENTS: turbogeit's lounge

Common regulations for both races:
- race length: between 30 and 40 minutes
- room quality: Normal
- chat quality: Normal
- all assists off, except driving line and ABS
- penalty: Weak
- mechanical damage: Low
- grid order: fastest first
- no boost
- race finish delay: max allowed
- Track edge/wet track traction: Real
- tyres: no restrictions
- 1 mandatory pit stop

GT300 regulations:
You can tune the car as you want within this limit:
- Maximum PP allowed: 550

GT500 regulations:
You can tune the car as you want within these limits:
- Maximum power: 502hp (US) - 510hp (metric)
- Minimum weight: 1200kg

Points System:

1st place 10 points
2nd place 6 points
3rd place 4 points
4th place 3 points
5th place 2 points
All other drivers will receive 1 point provided they finish the race (that means end the race within the race finish delay allowed)

Prizes for GT300 championship

Winner: one premium car up to 500.000 Cr
2nd: one premium car up to 250.000 Cr
3rd: one premium car up to 125.000 Cr

For the driver who got the most championship points in both series (and has participated in both series).
In case of ex-aequo, the result of the last GT500 race will count.

If you are not yet a WSCC-member, you will get an invitation to join our WSCC-Social club space.

Racing rules and treatment of race incidents

We apply the general OLR-rules that you can find here. To put it simply: behave in the races as if you were in a real world car race.
Car contact incidents are part of racing and will always happen. Nobody is perfect.
Everybody makes involuntary driving errors. The important thing is to stay fair.

Here is the procedure to follow in case of an important incident:
- In case of an incident, always first look at the replay
- If after seeing the replay, you still think another driver has disadvantaged you, first contact him by PM.
- If that does not permit to resolve the incident, send a PM to the race steward (host).
- Steward will review the replay and if necessary take a race-decision.
- Never accuse another driver publicly, it is forbidden by WSCC and GTP-policy and can lead to definitive exclusion.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the cars for WSCC-races: our members help each other to get the cars needed by a WSCC car exchange thread on our private social club space.

Both competitions take place in turbogeit's lounge. You'll receive a friend request once signed-up.

Adding 100kg and having to use power limiter on the GT500 cars is really going to kill performance. I think car selection is going to be critical, these cars were fairly well matched at stock settings, all this extra weight and power reduction will shake things up. :)

that's the game!! you can choose the car that suits your need and keep it for the championship

after the preseason race everyone will have to state the car for the championship for both GT300 & GT500
 
I just updated the laps for the preseason races and put some prizes for the championship
 
I want in, it seems I've finally found a series that looks like it can be fun yet a bit of a challenge. I'll have a go at it.

Do I have to? I was mainly wanting to run the bigger 500 but I can do both if you need me too!!! Also I'm trying to decide between Lexus and Toyota, which one for online have you seen to work better.

I've also updated the main page with EST time zone (New York) to help american friends with the timing :)

@LMSCorvetteGT2, roberte, ultrap13: I have sent an invitation for the social club. Please don't forget to accept it and read carefully the race-rules, I just "bumped" them to the first page of the social club space.
 
I just want to let everyone know that we have 5 spots still open for the GT300 and for the GT500 :)
 
@ gippone hey just wanted to let you know that my brother was going to give me the car I built for the GT500 but GT is saying that he can't gift it to me and that his limit has been reached for today what else should I do? I guess I can share it, but does that mean that you cant gift SuperGT?

For what I know you can gift cars with less value of 1M credits so I think that I can gift the car you need. The only thing is that I can do it this afternoon at around 6pm CET time. Is that good for you? Tell me the car you need 👍
 
I figured out a solution to my problem only to have another problem arise. and that is my internet is down and doesn't come back up till 4:30PM PST due to work through a different router. So I've been able to get online however it wont let me go into game rooms...

oh I'm very sorry. No problem for today it's only the preseason race! Hope you'll be firin' up the engine next week :) for race 1
