I've updated the series and the testday on the GTP community calendar :)
 
Competed the WRS enduro this weekend with the Corvette, it was an awsome 2.24 hours experience, and probably a good preperation for the races coming up.
 
In the next few days I'll decide the number of laps of each track :)
remember guys that we're going to have the prerace test on april 2nd 👍
 
The race test next monday april 2nd will be in suzuka for 23 laps guys 👍

WE WILL HAVE AN ALMOST COMPLETE 1 ROW PACE LAP and the starting point to go full speed will be out of the last chicane, means that the pit straight can be used for overtaking

Looking forward to it, 23 Laps should be no problem, last stint i did in the corvette, was 2.4 hours during WRS mixed enduro, last sunday.....

Weather at Race Start: 25%

means the possibility, the surface will be 0% then everything can happen :nervous:
 
Looking forward to mondays test....The rain certainly spices things up. Tough choices to make with tyre crossover points.

correct me if i am wrong, but the only thing we can adjust is the brake balance ?

Painted mine up too, a nice shiny blue chrome, better bring your shades tonight 8-) haha. I really like this car as well, looking forward to tonight.
 
Still need to purchase a Vette and get it set up. Doubt i'll have a run in engine by tonight!

Unsure weather I'll make it by 8:30, but shouldn't be too long after, still ain't bought my car yet though.:nervous:
 
Little confused here. OP says 542 BHP at 608PP. Just bought a Vette with 0 miles, and i'm at 547 BHP and 609PP. Are we to be using the restricter?

Yes :) we will fix the BHP to level the car the same for everyone (without having the possibility of engine break-in advantage)

Alright, makes sense!

Ran an 8 lapper at Suzuka. Tire wears gonna be such a bitch. Can see this race being a 2 stopper or maybe even a 3 stopper for some people.
 
Have a great test race today guys. I won't be there today but I'll see you all on Thursday.
 
Sorry guys, somethings popped up so I wont be making the pre-season. Will see you guys on Thursday at Monza ;)
 
Good fun today. I've never race in GT5 in the wet and so I didn't know what to expect, but it ended up pretty fun. Difficult, but fun. I started last having run zero laps in the car on this track, but I started on the inters and found myself in the lead for a few laps. But then it got wetter and I started making mistakes, had spins, excursions in the sand, you name it. I also pitted for the rain tires a lap or two too late and stayed out on my first set of rain tires for a lap more than i should have, but through it all, I somehow finished third while learning a whole lot about wet race strategy and control.

I'm looking forward to Thursday. Hopefully it'll be raining in Italy. :)
