since we had a real thunderstorm in Suzuka (100% rain all the time) with the current weather setting I setted up a
quick poll (only two days) you can vote to leave settings untouched or to change it slightly - PLEASE VOTE

Today's race was....(speechless). Never experienced such low grip. I wouldnt drive in these conditions in a road car let alone race. It was insanely fun though. I was damn tired before the race due to wrestlemania but I was wide awake in the race.....I think I got lucky when I decided to change to inters on the last minute of qualifying. I think gprili stayed out for a couple of laps on slicks which was brave of him to do. Well played to sagarismic for finishing on the podium from last on the grid.....Great racing....Roll on monza.

By the way, did anyone start the race on the full wets?

To be honest ; i have under estimated this .... for me it was also the first time, racing in a 'storm'. I had been trainning only on a dry track, and was not prepaired at all. During Quali it was already obvious does slicks where not gonna make it. So i changed to intermediate's but as soon the race started those tyre's were not satisfying aswell.

When i was on wet's it got a bit better, but i was still going off allover track because of my lack of expierience.

I learned something new last night : racing online in rain is an enourmas diffirence with racing offline in the wet. I really struggled to find grip. Therefore i will use this series to get better in the wet.... i will be in the back off the field probably, but ive got to start somewhere....

First of all... congrats to killa_kandy to manage a great race under such bad weather!! 👍 Also congrats to MindlessRiff for trying to keep up!!

I tried to do one or two laps with the racing hards but was impossbile... :nervous: I really struggled to find grip under the rain... as you can see I'm good in finding the limit in dry conditions but under the rain I was absolutely not trained  I also hit the wall between the straight and the pit lane

For Monza I will do some practise also in wet conditions... I want to be ready to give all I have to defend my reputation in my home country race :sly:

As said before, if I wasn't spinning I was the fastest man on track, 3 seconds faster then the leader at times, shame I spun so much. I think 5 changeability maybe a bit much, how about it's based on the circuits real life weather on the day of the race? For Monza, it ain't great weather.:sly:

Please, sign me up.

TAKITALA / TAKITALA / 63 / Jaune Yellow

My favorite weather settings (more realistic):
Weather - 50%
Weather changeability - 10

But i love a bone dry track with racing soft tires (missing qualifiers from GT4, for a blast out lap)

I´ve been hours testing weather settings for my series, and both in the poll will give you every chance of a dry season, so i´m happy with each one.

Realistically, is only possible to enter in one series a week (if to enter in more than one a week) with full surprise weather, because the enormous amount of time spend in testing all possible settings, for all possible weather conditions in a given track.

So, because that, i all ways prefer a defined weather, wet or dry, unless if i´m integrated in a pyramidal scheme, were the bottom have all easy (less than 500pp cars, slipstream strong, penalty weak and no damage), the top all hard (more than 600pp cars, penalty strong, damage heavy and weather like i write above) and you must to climb all the way to the top.

But, at moment, that is hard to implement, regrettably i´d said.
Or, at least i tried, alone, but i did´t manage.
People don´t have a sense of compromise and abandon so soon realize they are out of pace and wreck all scheme destroying the pyramid base.

Cheers.

Well with these setting we had almost 100% rain all time in suzuka

I know that is possible, but with 25% weather you have little chance to open the lobby with rain.
With a changeability 5 is difficult to change for the rain, and also to dry, during the race, like happened in the test.

Happened the exact opposite to me, thunderstorm and 5 min after, bright sunshine all the remain qualify and the race...to everybody´s relief !
Was in a very fast and tricky custom made track, with the Impreza TC (543bhp).

Overtake before cross the finish line is allowed?

I will try out a different aproach incase we get rain ; just nice, calm and easy, as in practise this has shown better results... and i must remember not to use the 'kerbs' when they are wet !!

Can we switch pace to finish at the start line? I mean, some of the guys at the back will still be (possibly) entering parabolica and I dont think that'd be very fair if the front guys have already shot off. Just a suggestion.

It's the same, if you go full speed at start/finish line beacuse you're ahead of someone that is not passed the finish line yet
