I don't really believe a model modifying code like that would save to a memory card. I sense shenanigans with that one.

I got into body mods in GT2 about ten years ago, and while it was amazing what you could do with a lot of patience, it had some major drawbacks with the most important being that, as you said, you can't save them to a memory card. It involves a lot of trial and error, a good sense of space and where the points that make up the model fit in on a three dimensional plane, and of course a basic understanding of how to count from 0 to F. Also, codes that work on one car won't work on another.

It's not for everyone, and the only people I know of who ever really got into it were me, Fiery, some guy called Omen who I never talked to, and I think RogsR34UK.

You will find some pictures on the internet (if they're still around) that show a glimpse of what appears to be a very basic interior of a car with the 'convertible' treatment; this is because depending on the color of the roof of the car and if you're good enough to figure it out, you can lower the roof and shape it to look vaguely like the inside of a car. It's extremely basic, however, and there are no seats or really anything at all.

Well frankly if you know any codes, to do this on certain cars, i would like to see them regardless of the drawbacks. If you have them:bowdown:

One of the codes I know of makes the rear spoiler of an Evo really high.

Sonygamer455
Well Xenn your not the only one making discoveries around here, This is slightly off topic but i was fiddling around with the digits on the track codes on GTPSP and i have discovered there are more hidden tracks in there than people are aware of. Grindelwald and Pikes Peak from GT2 was supposed to be in GTPSP but it wasn't! Im gonna post a thread about it.:)

Yeah, i'm aware of those hidden tracks in GT PSP. I assume they've been deleted to some extent if they don't load at all.

Yea i heard of that one:lol:

Yea me to, frankly i thought no body knew about it, then i saw there already was a thread about it:banghead:

Due to a minor oversight on my part, I neglected to back up the many, many codes and pictures I had on my site before Geocities shut down a while back. Fortunately, archive.org has a fair portion archived, so here's a link: http://web.archive.org/web/20090903060252/http://geocities.com/skynyrdsbodymods/
Whoa! Awesome!:) Thanks! That red GTX convertible that HYBRIDLVR posted on searching for evidence of hidden things i was speaking off is on there! (no codes though:indiff:) Is it possible you can still contact the other people on there that posted them on here or somewhere else and see if you can find out more? Another thing, question for you, Xenn and anybody else who knows this body stuff, on the prerelease material thread there is a picture of a Subaru 360 with huge tires and i was wondering if you could modify the tires like that on a 360?:)

That should be possible, I came across the tire position codes recently, so I could do that.

(It still puzzles me why they'd show the incomplete model though...)

Yea me to, theres way too many things that got cut from the game!:nervous:
The way i see it, for this Subaru 360 Young SS that never made it to the game, the car body already exist so all we would have to do is make the tires stick further out of the car, increase the rim size, tire profile and tire width to what it is in the picture. As for the rims we could just go through and apply them by hand to the car from the game itself and bam! We got ourselves a Subaru 360 Young SS!:sly:

You're welcome! Also, yeah, I thought that GTX looked familiar. Makes me wonder where he got the picture, honestly. But anyway...

Sadly, I have no idea where Fiery or Omen went and while Rogs is registered here, I rarely ever see him online, and we haven't talked in years. You can try sending him a message, if you like.

As for the Subaru, you can use some large tires with it like those from the Escudo (1263, I think? I could be wrong); I'm pretty sure they're about that size. The problem from there is getting them to stick out. I just glanced through some of the codes I saved from my site before Geocities shut down, and found something originally from the old GTH site that may help, though I've never tested it (I'm something like 90% sure it's for GT2; unfortunately I didn't organize things very well at the time):

----

"Change Car Body Size In Relation To Tires

disc 1.0
gs 3.2 pro
mem address:8015fe54

This will change the size of your cars body in relation to tire size.

Enter the address above, normal cars should read 1100 at that address, while mini and midget cars read 1000 at that address. So grab a normal car and change 1100 to 1000.

This will shrink your car, much like the dumb trophy cars that were deleted. Changing it to 1200 will give your car a huge body, and somtime glitches out the replays."

Thanks again for the codes! To be honest the tropy car wasn't exactly deleted it is nothing more than a icon that somebody was smart enough to make into a body. (which is awesome:dopey:!) I am going to salvage your codes so if something happens to them, feel free to pm me.:) You know Skynyrd you really should create a thread in the hybriding section on here on body mods and include the codes you already have and maybe create some more.

Actually, that code was by a guy called wonderpill, who also wrote the description. Those guys were good; it's a shame none of them are around anymore...unless they've changed their names.

As for starting my own thread...no, I would rather not. I was never a hacker (couldn't find the right equipment to learn on), and at this point I have other things that interest me more than digging around in GT2. It's easier to jump into Xenn's thread and poke around

I really wish Geocities had never shut down because i was amazed at that Mercury Cougar station wagon and i wish i had the code!:ouch:
I can understand that, hacking is never easy.:indiff:you don't have to make more codes if you don't want to, you could just reupload the ones you already have for people to see on here.:) (just an idea)
EDIT: Or do you care if i post them some where?:)

Okey thanks! I'll see if can work with them and get them right.:)
P.S. i just got a body mod guide that was archived from whats left of skynrds website that may help you. I'll post the document in few minutes.

Renamed the topic title, because i've added experimental codes for Gran Turismo 2000.

They have been added to the opening post, and were made for GS2 V3-4. If anyone has that, and Gran Turismo 2000, feel free to test it out. Thanks.

Yeah, a lot of stuff's gone forever now that Geocities is gone; it's depressing.

Anyway, feel free to post whatever you can find.

P.S.: Sorry for hijacking your thread, Xenn ; )

Okey i may post a thread of your body mod's and them old pictures you had. Of course im not going to take all the credit for the mods since it's your work i'll make sure i put credits to skynyrd on it.:) By the way that guy named HYBRIDLVR on here that posted that GTX converitble picture may be one of those people you used to work with.💡
OFF TOPIC: I don't know if you got my vistor message or not but can you send me a GT3 save in .PSV format with all those secret cars like the Lamborghini Diablo, Porsche 911, and both stock and rally car versions of the lancia stratos and what ever other secret cars please? Unhybrided and unmodified in any way.:)
P.S. In case you forgot the codes they are right here . Also judging by what you posted are there 2 Diablos in GT3?!?!

GT3 has 2 Diablos? We'll have to see about that. I know how in the PAL version, the Diablo has a Daihatsu Mira body with huge wheels, but I never heard of this. I want proof.

I'd like to help you out there, but I don't have access to the tools necessary for that, but there are several saves over at Gamefaqs that seem to contain the deleted cars. You'd have to dig through them and do some trading to get what you want, though.

Also, that was Tangoman who posted that, another guy from GTH. As for two Diablos, if Tangoman said there were two, I'm inclined to believe him. They're probably clones of each other though, or one might just be a body or even just a bit of extra information left in the game. I don't know; I played GT3 for a very short time, threw together a couple of hybrids, and went straight back to GT2 until GT4 came out.

Before this gets out of hand, please understand that the post he's talking about is a decade old, made by someone I haven't talked to in almost as long. However, I never knew Tangoman to lie about things like that, so...

I have no idea what the difference is between this "Llameante Diablo" and the other one, but there are the codes he posted back then. Anyone with a gameshark, a PS2, and GT3 can try it out. Take pictures!
Well i have already tried gamefaq's and they have them but there hybrids! I still haven't beaten the game and i don't want to cheat:) Just in case you didn't know the lancia stratos and the lancia stratos rally car were cut from the game as well. Not sure why:indiff: Frankly i have tried everything and i can't find a simple save game in .PSV format with them cars anywhere!:indiff::nervous:
P.S. Sorry for bumping the topic Xenn.:indiff: Im just so desperate to get them cars!

Not a problem, if only I had the NTSC version of GT3 i'd help you out there.

Ah. So it's an alt Diablo which itself is an alt Mira. Now it makes sense. Also, I heard about and saw that code that hangs the timer like in your Kid's Prize how to video. Could you post the code?
