Great find! Keep looking for the same info on the other Arcade Mode rally cars! I'd love to have the parts lists for all of them, it would be great. I could get my hands on the Arcade rallies in Sim Mode and buy these parts for them, that would rock. Maybe once I do that, I could post a save here.

Your in luck Naveek!:) Im going through and buying every car in the game including those, and i'll be posting the list of parts required for them, the car required, and the body code. There are more already on this forum! Im working down the list! As a matter of fact this ain't a rally car but it is the parts for the Castrol Mugen Accord from the demo version!
First buy a Lexus IS 200 and apply the following parts:
Sports Muffler
All Brakes
Computer Chip
All Drivetrain
Stage 2 Turbo
Full Customization Suspension

Then move to the first car in your garage by selecting it and pressing start and apply this body code:
801CD5E4 D2DC
801CD5E6 120C
:)

Good stuff, I'd love to be able to replicate the Arcade Mode rally cars to proper specs in Sim Mode. It would rock.

There's been an autopilot code for this game for a while now, but it's rather flawed (Won't pit, etc.). I feel I have a better code for this:

Autopilot (Alternate) (PAL)
800A9B40 XXXX

0000 - Player Control
0200 - AI Control

This code will enable the AI to take over, and will pit in when the tires need changing.

Good finds on those arcade rally cars too. I may make a code to get them in without having to tune them at some point.

A code for that would be cool. But I'd find more fun just building the Arcade rally cars in Sim Mode, especially with the actual cars. But loving your work Xenn. Keep it up, love that people still search through GT2 over 12 years later.

Great work on auto pilot Xenn! Keep on moving!:) Hope the background change is a success:):cheers::dopey:

Well i don't mean to bust your bubble Naveek, but i may have to do futher research before a code can be made, in case theres something more. I'll keep posting though and i'll probly create a forum for the parts to the rally cars and demo cars:)

Thanks! For some reason, when I put the 0 value nothing happens, I can't drive at all and when I put 2 I drive normally, but at first try I managed to have my car having the CPU noise, which was fun! Don't why it happened cause I can't do it again now

EDIT Actually when I start a race with 0 value on and then I pause and put 2, the CPU noise comes in but I'm still the driver :) And if I pause again then the normal car noise comes back. Very weird!

My bad, I fixed it now:

800A9B40 XXXX

0000 - Player
0200 - AI

Those are some weird glitches you got there, i'm going to look into those.

Ok I think the CPU noise comes with the 0000 code, then if I change to 0002 without pausing I drive myself with the CPU noise. If I pause then back to normal. 0200 is like 0000 for me, I can't drive at all.

That's strange, none of this happens with me. It's only if I use 0100 I can't do anything. Very odd.

Interesting, somebody asked about making your car sound like the CPU recently. I think Xenn has found a good head start for it! :)

It's very strange how the CPU system works here. Finding what changes the AI sound is rather tedious, as there isn't any obvious sign of it.

Oh ok :odd: I have the PAL version so it should be the same.
It's still a step towards the CPU thingie, even though the auto pilot didn't work for me :P

Oops, I didn't see you changed the actual code and not only the value, I kept the code beginning with 3....... :dopey: Now it works correctly!
Still I'm intrigued by the old code, maybe there's something to do with it for CPU sound 👍

No need to investigate the old code now, because i've now got a code to change your car sound!

Your car sounds like the CPU (PAL)
D01D5976 0003
801D5976 0001
D00A9B40 0200
800A9B40 0000
E00A96D0 0000
300A96D0 0002

It skips the replays for some reason, though.

OMG, spot on :) If you deactivate the code after the race you can see the replay though. I love this!

EDIT I think it also sets the replay into AI mode, meaning not your race but a "new" race with the AI driving your car. But that's fine.

It could possibly be that. As of right now, the car will lose the sound if you pause and unpause, but that shouldn't be much of an issue.

Here's a fun little code to try out:

You control everyone (PAL)
800A9B40 0000
300A96D0 0002
800AA680 0000
300AA210 0002
800AB1C0 0000
300AAD50 0002
800ABD00 0000
300AB890 0002
800AC840 0000
300AC3D0 0002
800AD380 0000
300ACF10 0002

It's a bit glitchy (Might be different depending on the car you use, or the game was just never meant to be able to do this). Can you complete a race with all the cars across the line? :P

Oh god that sounds so funny. Could you upload a video of that code in action? That would be hilarious. And your car sounding like the AI cars in interesting...

Also, no worries about the difficulty of the Arcade Mode rally cars and finding the part codes. It's easy enough to install then manually.

Great, would love to know all the correct parts. Keep up the good work, enjoy your vacation. Will hear back from you.

Can anyone tell me if you have this code for version 1.2 Xenn?
