Track Loader (NTSC-J)
E01FFA7F 0022
800AFA30 XXXX

First two digits: Cars on the track. Do not go above 6 or below 1.
Second two digits: Track to be loaded.

For example:

E01FFA7F 0022
800AFA30 050D

Loads 5 cars (You and 4 AI cars) and loads Deep Forest Raceway (2P)

PAL/NTSC-U track list here for reference

Also, i'm thinking of changing my OP. I'm open for any ideas you have in mind, as I can't think of a good way to layout the codes and I think it's a bit messy right now.
Sure i can help you organize the tracks alittle bit, as a matter of fact im working on organizing all the car codes for the "Buy any car" cheat and such. I'll post a PEC ready notepad file here when im finished and whenever i get those tracks organized i'll post them here as well.:) Which tracks on the list did you say where "hidden" or "different" in the japanese version compared to the PAL and NTSC versions?

These tracks aren't in the NTSC-J release:

19: spL4
1C: L_S-corner3

It's rather odd that some new license tracks would be added, but then end up not even used.

Well frankly what i ment to ask was which tracks did you say were only in the japanese version and not the NTSC and PAL. My bad:indiff:

The track list is identical to the NTSC/PAL versions, just with different values to them. Aswell as some removed courses, a shame I know.

Yea i wish i knew what eiger path and plam strip were going to look like:indiff: Wish i could just ask them personally to.:indiff: If only it could be hacked!:nervous:

You're a Ghost! (PAL)
E00A96D0 0002
300A96D0 0001

You're a Ghost! (NTSC 1.2)
E00A96A0 0002
300A96A0 0001

For some reason, you can't control your car while this happens.

Dang you hacking this game from top to bottom:dunce: This right here is something i never would have thought possible! Keep up the good work!👍 One thing i thought of is i wonder if it is possible to swap course backgrounds. In example, we all know how red rock valley and the dart test track have mountains in the background and a beautiful sunset to go with it, is it possible it could be used on other tracks like laguna seca:dunce:

I would imagine it's possible to do that. I'd have to find out how it works.

Well only if it can be done:bowdown: Im not a gameshark genius so i don't know if it is possible, but if there's anybody who i think can do it, it would be you. Imagine using the background for rome night on laguna seca! That would be awesome!

It can be done in GT1, I read about it on Sportwagon's website.

Would it probably depend on if the background files are similar to the way they were used in GT1?

Pretty much how it went for GT1 is:

Night background on day track = Good
Day background on a night track = Bad

So your saying it is possible?!?!?:drool::sly::eek::odd::boggled::dunce:

Well my whole day just got alot better:lol: What do you mean by day background on night track is bad?

The night tracks aren't usually designed as detailed as the day tracks, so there's issues with like bugs in the backgrounds (again this is on GT1).

Yeah, I know it could be done in GT1, I came across it by pure accident when messing about with track loading values.

What about the day tracks with night backgrounds? Do they work just fine?

Considering GT2 ain't much of a step up from GT1 (graphic wise) i would imagine it would be possible!:dunce:

Hello to all! Am new to this forum, was wondering if you have some code to make the engine sound of the cars identical to the cpu, because I think a bad sound so high and sometimes even annoying that the engines do. thank you [:)]

I think it's possible to get that, but not sure about any side effects it might have. I'll have a look.

Hey Xenn, i have been messing around lately with alot of cars and you were right about them arcade mode rally cars, they are just modifed versions from there stock counterparts. (Performance wise) I have managed to find out exactly what parts the some of the rally cars have, as matter of fact here's the list of parts right here for anybody trying to model the rally cars just like from the arcade disc.

*Saxo Rally Car"

1st the buy the Citroen Saxo 1.6i VTS

Move to the top of your garage list by pressing start, then use this body code for the rally body
801CD5E4 D1D8
801CD5E6 1035

Racing Muffler
Sports Brakes
Brake Balance Controller
NA Tune Up Stage 2
All Drivetrain
Racing Suspension
Dirt Tires

It comes out at 198HP, instead of 197HP, but it is close enough.
Any parts not mentioned here are not needed.:sly:

More to come!

Yeah, I reckon a lot of the cars in the rally mode are fully tuned, but there's probably a few exceptions.

No there not exactly fully tuned at all, frankly this one right here has alot of parts that aren't the best. Im working on the rest right now.

Buy Daihatsu Storia X4, then apply the following parts:
Racing Muffler
All brakes
Computer Chip
Engine Balance
Port and Polish
All Drivetrain
Stage 1 Turbo
Full Customization Suspension
Dirt Tires

Then apply move it to the top of your garage by pressing start and apply this body code:
801CD5E4 271C
801CD5E6 1B0E

That would probably explain why my fully tuned Celica GT-Four is much faster than the one in Arcade Mode.

Interesting, looking forward to seeing what you got.

Well your in luck Xenn:) Im going trough and buying every car in the game with the "Buy Any Car" cheat and there racing mods in all colors as well as the hidden ones to because i'll be going on vacation in a week and i want to make sure i have every car to play around with on my PSP. I'll be working on each rally car as i go and when i figure each one out, i'll post it here:) I'll also help you rearrange your code list if I get done early.:sly:

Oh that would be a cool idea actually, as the night change on a daylight track :) Can't wait to see what our little wizards will find :sly:

The scenery background is proving to be rather annoying to change. But i'll get there eventually.
