Yeah, that's what it is. I'm not certain what makes a car a rally type car, so I would use that for now.
Well frankly i was already aware of that code, reason i wanted dirt tires was so i could do a rally race with it on my ps3. As you may know there are no cheat devices for ps3 because it is designed against them, but if i can't make it a rally car then thats okey.:) Plenty of other races i can do anyway:) Besides i doubt it would do okey anyway.

You can use a XploderCD9000 disc on a PS3. It works with mine and i'm able to cheat on GT2 with that.

Game Speed Modifier (GT) (PAL/NTSC-U/NTSC-J)
301FF8D0 000X

0: Fastest (Lags due to PSX hardware)
1: Faster
2: Normal Speed
3 & Higher: Slows down depending on the value

Strange code I came across while looking through the game data. It seems GT2 has it's own frame skip feature.

Quite strange, and I don't think it's even used either.

Oh cool! Thanks again! By the way i tried to race that prius on a rally race and it said i didn't dirt tires:nervous: In other words it doesn't have dirt tires.

Oh whoo rah!:dopey: Now i can race this thing on rally races without cheats!:D

It let my Vector M12 onto the Rally tracks (The code in bold), so it should work with any car 👍
Oh thats cool, im doing that for every car! Have you tried it on arcade mode, thats my primary concern mostly. It is permanent right?

Yep, any change you make to a car through the garage is a permanent change.

Power Multiplier: 801CD59A

You'll need to use this with it aswell: 801CD5DA 00XX <- Only change the last two values to 43 to use the multiplier.

I realize this but if the parts for them rally cars don't exist on the simulation disc, the arcade disc will;) If you can figure out how to apply those parts to the rally cars on the arcade disc itself it should work:)
Edit: i think i may understand how your getting all these body codes and i may know how to work the rest from here:) Continue on the rally car restoration though please:)

Okey about this code that makes any car a rally car, i know it is for slot one in the garage and i was wondering, (forgive me if im asking for too much) is it possible you could make codes for all 100 slots or is that too much? (P.S. I can explain why im asking for this)

100 slots is a bit too much to much honest, I think 21 slots will be fine.

Oh okey, reason i ask is because i plan to create my 1st forum sometime, it's going to be a save game forum and i intend to have save games with all cars on it (and yes i know i can only hold 100 cars which is why it's going to be on multiple saves) and i was wanting to make them all off road like that.

Unfortunately, Rally cars from the Arcade mode can't be properly restored in GT mode.

Using the parts they use in GT mode ends up using completely different parts, so restoring it isn't quite as it should be.

Yea i have been thinking about that and i believe you are right, but im sure them rally cars like that golf are nothing more than modified versions of there original counterparts. Im sure i could tune them close to what they are in the arcade disc, like you said really all i got to do is find out what parts it contains, i will try and figure it myself. Thanks for looking Xenn!:) By the way i tried the power multiplier on the 1st car in my garage and it didn't work:nervous: i had it set on 43

It was the Gear Modifier code that I was using wrong. I changed it to a 3 value, it appears to be working properly now.
Well it works! Do you know if there is a "buy any car" code for the japanese version? I tried converting it to that but i don't think it works:indiff:

I could take a quick look. I'll edit this post with the code when I find it.

Buy Any Car (Slot 1, Nissan New Showroom) (NTSC-J)
801C3290 XXXX
801C3292 XXXX

Edit: PLUS! The Japanese version seems to have different tracks at different values, compared to the NTSC-U and PAL versions. I'm going to see if anything's hidden.

It seems a few of the hidden license test tracks were actually removed in the Japanese version. I've posted about this in the "Searching for evidence of hidden things" topic in the GT2 section.
