Which settings do you use (tires, aides, etc)?
Online or offline?
Which track would you like it tuned for?

The very first thing I would suggest is running the car as is for many, many laps until you have a baseline for the feel, racing line and lap times. Collect your lap times for at least 10 laps and throw out the best and worst and then get the average. That average time is what you want to beat. You will be surprised as how fast you can get with the stock settings once you know the car/track very well.

Thanks mate OP updated :)
Let me see what I can come up with. I've not touched that car since April and I'm probably 50% better at driving and 100% better at tuning now.
Is there a PP or HP restriction?
When do you need it?

Could be interesting :D two tuners having a go. Interesting to see how the differ or if they are very similar :D

Racing Soft tires?
How many laps?
Tire wear and fuel consumption on?

Ummm, I'll be slower, but I'll have more fun. Ha.

Just cranked up a brand new '66 XJ13. Changed the oil and washed it.
Set the aero to max and limited the HP to get to 600pp.
Will run it for a while like this to get the baseline of lap times.
Be back soon.

Just ran 15 laps with the Stock Settings and did a best lap of 1:51.101 with Racing Hard tires without Active Steering. Consistently ran within a half second of that.
Dropping the suspension and tinkering with the LSD should net a full second.
Camber and Toe another second.
Racing Softs will net substantial gains.
As far as the suspension goes, it was actually really good. Might only have to do very small tweaks to it depending on how it reacts to dropping the Ride Height 30mm.
The Stock Transmission seemed ok, but will get in line after everything else is in place.

Is a lap of 1:47.xxx fast? That becomes the question.
I think I could run that, or better. But what about the field?

If you could get it down to 1:46/45 that would be top dollar
Ha...well, that is definitely doable.
I just ran a dirty lap of 1:46.030 with Racing Softs and Active Steering On. No other changes. I didn't realize those two would net that much gain.
If I cleaned up the lap, it would have been 1:45.5xxx for sure.
I think it isn't too far outside of the realm of possibility to get to 1:44 or lower.

Thats brill, coud you send me a message with the setup and il find something to give to you like a birthday ticket or a car of your choice, pre 1992 birthday ticket ;)
