So far I've resisted the urge to go 'brrrrm brrrrm' while pedalling....
I wish my friend would.
You know you've been playing GT4 too much when you can go sub 2:35 at Le Mans unchicaned.

By cutting every corner? The best drivers in the world can't get under 2'35 cleanly, even with R5 tires, +20% power, and -10% weight.
I guess there's a slight change that you could do so without corner cutting in GT Mode if you used a Stage 4 turbo, oil change, and nitrous, but that's unlikely IMO.
It was a slightly modded 300mph setup in a Sauber with nitrous on Mulsanne, that was where I gained the most time over the ghost I had been using. I didn't cut the track unless you count the red areas in some of the corners.
That would be silly, but you should be sure to go "eyowww schreecchy schreechy screecchy wee-ommm!" when coasting banked hard around a sharp corner.I don't drive but do a bit of bike riding, at least 60km per week, using a 12km bike route that is rather similar to the 'ring in width, corners etc. I constantly try new approaches to hitting apexes and have recently started to stagger the tyre pressure to simulate soft/hard tyre choice etc and the effect on turn in and exit speed.

When you go around a corner and curse at yourself for missing the apex.
You wake up at 6am in a Saturday/Sunday just to do a 24h endurance.
All right, that's plausible. 👍 The nitrous makes the difference. The GTRP times I linked to do count the red stuff as track, so no problem there. Still, if you have proof, I'd love to see it, because that's a very fast lap by any standards. 👍
...when you wonder why it takes so long to change the oil in your car.
...When you resort to tuning small imports in an attempt to win enduros dominated by muscle like GTs and Vipers. (raises hand, current project sil-eighty)
...when you think Audi's R8 win in the 2000-2002 24 Hours of Le Mans was not worth more than 20 A-Spec points.
