I saw Studebaker Avanti Supercharged today, snapped some pics and might post them bit later. When I saw it, I was pretty much baffled by the looks of it. Never heard of Studebaker coupes, only of the sedans.

Really? The Avanti is the most known of the Studebakers. Heck the Avanti production lasted longer than Studebaker.

That HTT looks like an SSC in the front, and a Ferrari 430 in the rear. I can't decide if I like the design or not...

I've always been interested in Panthers, and the Solo/Solo 2 was a nice car, never got the attention and backing it deserved. Panther are more renowned for their retro-styled cars nowadays (think Excalibur but way less vulgar) but I've always been more interested in their more obscure ventures such as this, the Rio which was a stupidly-expensive rebuild of the Triumph Dolomite, and the bats***-crazy 6 wheeled, erm, "Six".

Anyways discovered these two nice Brazil-only VWs today. The pretty Karmann Ghia TC (Type 145):

And the pretty awesome VW SP-2:

Mattel made a 1/64 scale Hot Wheels model of the SP2. It is cool indeed.

Always love learning about these Japanese domestic cars that I never hear about. Like this Suzuki Fronte Coupe.

I read in a book that in some countries it's called a Wiz Kid

For export, Suzuki transformed the Cervo into the SC100, first introduced in April 1978. The SC100 was known in England by the nickname "Whizzkid".

Well, this is interesting...

A few years ago, you probably remember that Supacat showed off a Qt Wildcat, kitted out with smoke grenades and a machine gun:

So, they showed it off but then nothing seemingly came of it.

This is apparently the result of the project, the LRV 400:

Are those Evoque headlights? Seema bit bit glitzy for the battlefield.

This is a carryover from the Rate the Vehicle thread. A gem from when I was a child. I remember this having a bit of a "5 seconds of fame" in the early '90s. The Zender Fact Four:

Hahaha, yes, I was waiting to see how long until someone spotted the taillights. I guess it does stick out like a sore thumb lol.

They... really did just find a pair of Polo taillights for that spider:

The coupe has the tail lights from a VW Caddy mk1

And what does the McLaren F1 share it's tail lights with? :sly:
1980s Bova Futura :sly:

How about side mirrors coming from a Volkswagen Corrado?

Still, this is the ultimate supercar for me, unbeaten ever since I saw it for the first time in Need For Speed II :D

Also, side indicators from the first gen Murcielago come from...

I vaguely remember having an Hot Wheels Zender when I was a child, I totally forgot that car even existed.

Also, miscellaneous tidbits: The Saleen S7 uses Honda S2000 mirrors.

That's obviously aside the known ones like the 300ZX headlights on the Lamborghini Diablo, and the Corolla taillights on the Lotus Esprit.

Does anybody know what happened to this? It was designed by Gordon Murray and was supposed to be built by Toray Industries.
