I went to visit the Roush website and I found out about this:

I did not know they did F150s.

Vemac RD350R. A 350HP race car that races in the Super GT Championship. Looks great.

Well it did race, back in about '06. I think that was its last competitive year. Considering the time, I'd go nearer the 400 mark. I do miss it. :guilty:

Found these two on supercars.net, I'm just copying the description:
-1959 Kellison J5R
Jim Kellison, a former Korean War fighter pilot, founded Kellison Engineering in 1954. Jim designed his signature car, the Kellison J4, the same year and started production and testing. The J5 evolved from the J4 adding an inch to the 39-inch roof and extending the 'wheelbase from 98 to 102 inches which allowed more length in the doors. The J5R designation was for a lightweight racing body. This J5 has a 1959 Chevrolet 283 with dual quad carburetors and three-speed transmission. The Kellison J4/J5s influenced the design of several cars including the British 1996 TVR Cerbera, some 40 years after the original design.

-1964 Ladawri Daytona
This car was built on a 1955 Chevrolet chassis with a 327 Chevrolet engine in Illinois in the 1960s. The car stayed in the midwest until recently when a new owner purchased it and moved it south where the current owner acquired and restored it.

I googled Skyline Pickup Truck to see what would show up and I was suprised any results showed up. Turns out turning a sports car into a truck is a big thing.

Oh god.

Is that a Skyline with a hollowed-out Stagea rear end or a hollowed-out Stagea with a Skyline front end?

Stagea body with GT-R front clip. As with any GT-R wagon I'm aware of (or ex-wagon in this case).

You are on a primarily Gran Turismo based website.

And that thing is in a Gran Turismo game.

How did you not know that it exists?!

I kinda have to agree with CSM here, the Espace F1 has been mentioned oh so many times, even outside of GT2's own forums. For many (including yours truly), it was GT2 that introduced them to this insane French concept. And god bless Renault for thinking outside the box like this...

Speaking of unknown cars (the proper kind), here's a car I have a short story with:

Not exactly THIS example, but the car itself; the Chrysler (also Dodge) Daytona Shelby. My story with it? That is the fact that someone who lives in my area actually owns one! Twice I saw it, parked in the same spot. The rear end caught my attention, and I promptly did some research to find out which Chrysler it was. After I found out that it was a 1980's Daytona, I was very curious to see if I could take a closer look. But the car never appeared in the spot where I first saw it, and then I sort of forgot about it. That is, until I had a quick trip with my father to a local repair shop, to fix the electric windows on our Peugeot 307. My dad told me "look to the back of the shop", and lo and behold, there it was. Apparently, something broke in spectacular fashion within the car, because the engine bay was completely void of any engine. It was also then where I discovered that this Dayona is a Shelby version. I dunno much about the value of Dodge Shelby's, so can any 'Murican enlighten me about how much one of those could go for?

Also, I can't be the only one who thinks that this resembles a Mazda RX-7 FC from behind...

In fairness guys the thread is about cars you didn't know existed, not everyone else. By all means express surprise but I hope nobody is implying the Espace (and Pantera come to that) shouldn't have been posted :)

I guess we were more surprised at the fact that the Espace F1 was unknown, but since the man did say he never played GTs 1 to 4, I'd say it's okay to give him a white card for it. 👍

You should remedy your GT1-4 deficiency. Now.

;)

And I'd follow this mate's advice. ;)

Mazda AZ 550 Sports.

Concept version of the Autozam AZ-1, which had as suggested by the name, a 550 cc engine. Three versions were shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1989, the most production AZ-1 resembling A Spec with pop-up headlights, stripped B Spec which was supposed to be more pure sportscar version than the A Spec, and Group C inspired C Spec, which was painted in the same colour as Mazda's Group C cars at the time.
