The Mitsubishi Nessie

Guigiaro designed hydrogen SUV named especially for Scotland*

*this may be a lie.

-> Since all the rage on mid-engined sportscars are on rampant pace (Hyundai Veloster RM, Honda S660, Chevy Corvette Zora, & McLaren 570S). Might as well add one more! :D

BT -> Would you guys believe me that this:

^ Was built in 1987!?

-> This is the Treser T1 Roadster or Treser Roadster T1:

^ Powered by a VW 1.8L NA with 130hp on the tap. Which it's quite reliable in VW-Audi kind of way. :)

-> So between the Ford Fairline 500 Skyliner and the Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder on hardtop cabrios, this niche-roadster was made!

^ I simply love smart packaging hardtop convertibles! This concept was carried over by the Chevy SS-R and Mazda NC Miata!

-> Also...because, race car. :P

-> Oh by the way, it was made by the same folks who ruined the Audi ur-quattro Coupe by turning it into a quattro Roadster by Treser:

Now there's something I have never heard of before, great find. Never even realized that some German dudes decided to take a VW engine and stuff it into such a 1980's futuristic design. And I quite like this car, actually. The fact that they even raced it makes it even more unique.

And that Quattro Roadster is not really good. Some cars aren't just meant to be roadsters, you know...

I dunno how much more modern than 1987 I'd really peg it. It looks like a first generation Eclipse drove into the back of a post-refresh C4 Corvette convertible, so a couple years at most I'd say.

Still nifty.

This is the first time I have seen Hydro Aluminium sponsor a race car. It's an aluminium manufacturer from around where I live.

Abarth 750 Coupè Vignale Goccia (teardrop):

Only 3 were ever made.Featuring the same engine as the normal 750 Abarth this car was appreciated for its low drag. The first picture shows the car that was presented in 1957 at Geneva and among other small differences featured gullwing doors.
Inn't it cute?:dopey:

A Chrysler Voyager. The Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler minivan for the UK market I think. Which reminds me, why didn't Chrysler call it the "Town & Country" like they do in the US?
Chrysler_Voyager_front_20071023.jpg

^ The Town & Country name is too long for European tastes. And the name Caravan has a certain distaste (& confusion) on certain market bases.

Today I learnt that in Australia you could buy a version of the Holden Monaro with four wheel drive.

It's actually called Town & Country instead of voyager? my whole life has been a lie.

In the US, Chrysler versions were called "Town and Country",Dodge versions were called "Caravan" and Plymouth versions were called "Voyager".

Extended lengths of the Dodge and Plymouth added "Grand" to the name.
