Daily Workout #283- Honda NSX 2017 (171st double) And my game keeps trolling me with another dupe, and in a fourth different colour too.....If they are gonna keep giving me this car, at least in another different colour, but getting 4 times this car is way good enough for now.....They sure like to give me the street version of the NSX, instead of the Gr.3 and Gr.4 versions, which I want them so badly....

Daily Workout #284- Honda NSX Gr.4 (Really neat, I was actually looking for this car for so long, too bad it was not in the other colour I wanted in..... The funny thing is, maybe PD actually checked my previous post, since they knew that I got the street version of this car, and somehow they decided to reward me this car to make things even, and actually, for once, PD were being nice....)

Daily Workout #285- Porsche 919 Hybrid Porsche Team 2016 #1 (172nd double) I´m really okay with this, despite not being the number 2 on the car, and really doesn´t matter how many times I get this car, it´s obviously a keeper......Right now, the game is teasing me with good stuff, let´s see if I can keep it up.....

I have a LOT of gifts to catch up with...and, it's mostly crap. So, we left off on the first of August, when I won a Mustang rally car. On the day after, I got a Mercedes SLS AMG Gr.4, which is a nice new addition to the garage. Classic grey trim, I like it.

This is where the good gifts end. On the 3rd of August, I won the BMW M3 e30 Sport Evolution. Third double, and I had won one on the 31st of July, in the same exact red color :banghead:

August 4th wasn't kind to me either, as I won a Peugeot 208 GTI, third double. :banghead::banghead:

August 5th brought me another double, but I'm happy regardless as it's the Audi R8 LMS GT3. My favourite GT3 car so, I'll take it. Everything on the wheel was a double that day, so I got a nice outcome.

And now come yesterday and today. Why am I putting them together? Because I won two Peugeot RCZ Gr.4 in a row. The first one was already a double, plus I'm not a fan of the RCZ either...and the Miura was in today's wheel.

Why number 2 is better ?
I had 20 mln Jag like three or four times and still without luck.

I've lost all incentive to carry on doing this Daily Workout nonsense. What with the amount of duplicates & they fact that they can't even be sold on, many times it's just a waste of my time. This is a game, it's supposed to be fun, but I find no fun in forcing myself to drive 26.2 miles only to be trolled by bad game design. I'm not a gambler, & I dislike games of chance. I just wanna buy all the cars I want & go racing online (eventually). Why do PD have to make things so frustrating & joyless.

I can see where you are coming from not liking the duplicates and not getting resell value, but at times it's also a nice shortcut to obtaining expensive cars.

It would still be a nice short cut if they simply allow us to sell gift cars, that way we wouldn't be wasting our time. If they also made it so that we don't get duplicates in the first place, until we had all the cars, even better. There is absolutely no need or excuse for this kind of thoughtless & piss poor game design in this day & age imo.

They have probably made it this way to make it feel special when players earn something unique, and it fuels the micro-transactions strategy when luck is not on our sides, sadly. Not that I would collect any virtual car with real money, but some people will when game design is grindy and cumbersome. I think this explains it.

It's not like I play GTS for the sake of the daily workout, I play GTS and when I've covered those 42-something kms I get a reward. Which is usually rubbish, but still, it's a reward. Usually I end up making liveries for the various doubles, just to give them any sense.

damn i just bought 919 with number 1 because i thought that number 1 is always better :sly:
Hahaha, maybe I should not say that the number 1 car ended on 3rd place in Le Mans 2017? :P

Edit.

And I bought the Audi R18 Audi Sport Team Joest 2016 number 8, because that car ended up on 3rd place in Le Mans 2016 and the number 7 car ended up on 4th place.
And I also bought Toyota TS050 2016 number 6, because that car ended up on 3rd place in Le Mans 2016, the number 5 car broke down on the last lap and Porsche won :ill:.

It has been scientifically proven that all the best people were born on 6 August...

Note the indisputable evidence above and below... ;)
