I'm thinking of getting the Jaguar, since it seems to have an interesting backstory - I should still be able to win the races for Nostalgic 1979 while racing clean in that car, right?

There's a tune for it in the 20M cars thread, do that and upgrade to the max (careful as I think the higher numbers are actually "downgrades" that cost a lot!) and you will win easily. I got the Jag first and used that to grind for the Ferrari (the Nostalgic race isn't a grind, it's enjoyable).

4 cars;
Nissan GTR Gr.3
Red Bull X2014 Junior (I think at least)
Ferrari 250 GTO
Mazda RX7

It landed right in front of the GTO again. Got my 3rd Gr.3 Nissan GTR...

So I went for a little research trip trough this thread. Turns out a lot of people got 20m cars UNTIL the summer of 2018, ever since then a lot of people say they see the expensive cars but the game ALWAYS skips it by one or lands one car in front of it. It can't be a coincidence if it happens to dozens of thousands of people all over the world, PD must have changed the roulette.

Won the Turn 14 BRZ! I'm no fan of professional drift cars, so after some suspension mods and about 500 less horsepower, it's now one of my favorite cars that I own XD

Also wanted to tone down the aesthetics just a little bit.

A couple thoughts:

First, there are several low cost cars that I have never won.

I have 34 cars under $100K that have zero dupes (I would say about 20 of these were purchased.) This is quite substantial, since the vast majority of the cars are $300K - $1M range.

Meanwhile, I have received several duplicates of substantially more expensive cars.

The really egregious ones are in the $500K range. 8 GT-Rs Schulze, 7 focus gr.b rally, 8 atenza gr.4, etc.

Yet, I can't win the Honda Beat, or the Fit, the Eunos Roadster, Fiat 500F, Integra Type R, Trueno, Mini Cooper S, etc.

I'm assuming the probability is not completely based on value/price.
